Vineet gets shocked to see Ruhana crying. Maybe it was the warmth of the home that led her break. She is crying hugging herself. He moves towards her and taps her head.

"Ruhana! Ab toh sab thik hai na." he says.

"Sab kuch toh kho diya maine, Vineet. Sab kuch. Papa ne humse promise kiya tha ki hum sab agle din shopping jayenge. Wo mujhe kuch dilana chahte they. Aur Ana ka bhi result aaya tha. Papa hamare ache results pe kuch gift dilate they. Aur phir us raat…." she pauses, as another cry leaves her lips.

"Ab is ghar mein bas main hoon aur Ana. I've lost everything." she cries.

Her emotions weren't in her control. She was trying hard not to cry before her sister, but there she is crying hard. Maybe, it's needed. He doesn't know how to pacify her and so he embraces her in his arms.

She places her head on his chest and cries. He didn't say anything but let her cry. Maybe, it is the best option for her. And he cannot convince her as well. She only needs a shoulder to lean on, and he knows he can only do that.

Vineet breaks the embrace and parts her from himself. He wipes her tears.

"Ruhana, jo hua, wo toh hum badal hi nahi sakte. Lekin ek nayi shuruaat toh kar sakte hain. Tumne kaha tha na, tumhe naukri dhundhni hai, aur Anamika ke school mein bhi baat karni hai. Ab tum aise toot jaogi toh Anamika ko kaun sambhalega? Please stop crying. " he says.

"Main jaanti hoon, aap bhi uska waise hi khayal rakhenge jaise main karti hoon." Ruhana says while looking at Vineet.

He is surprised. She smiles tearily and wipes her tears.

"I am sorry. I know maine aapko bhi pareshan kardiya. Par yahan kuch kami si lagi. And I could not control myself." she says while looking at him.

Vineet smiles. He knew it had been hard for her as well. And these two girls have lost their parents. Tears are bound to come then. He gets a glass of water and makes her drink some.

" Dekho Ruhana, I know the void cannot be filled. Par tumne kaha tha ki main bhi tumhari family hoon. Toh you can call me anytime. I will make time for you two." he says.

"that's so sweet of you. Aur ek main hoon, pareshan kardiya na maine?" she asks.

He smiles.

"nahi. Dost kabhi pareshan nahi karte. Aur fir waise bhi Anamika se milne toh mujhe aana hi padega na. Varna wo tumhe pareshan karegi." he says teasingly to make her feel better.

Ruhana smiles and nods affirmatively.

"Ye toh thik baat kahi aapne. Promise kiya hai aapne, nibhana bhi padega." she says.

He agrees and takes his leave, but he turns back as Ruhana held his hand. He looks at her questioningly. She smiles, presses his hand softly.

"thanks so much." she says.

He smiles.

"thanks nai chalega. Jo main kahunga wo maanogi toh main tumhara accept karunga." he says.

Ruhana looks at him and then agrees when she finds him smiling. He asks her to rest and to not cry and then takes his leave. Ruhana locks the door and moves inside the room. She slids in her side of the bed and kisses Anamika on her head. Ana turns in her sleep, put her hand around Ruhana, and slept off. Ruhana smiles and she too drifts into sleep.

Next morning, the sisters get ready and move to Anamika's school. Ruhana requested to meet the principal, and she tells her everything. The principal is kind enough and she lets Anamika sit for the final exams and also provides the needed help. Ruhana is elated. Anamika is asked to attend the revision classes and the things seem fine.

Ruhana calls Vineet to tell him about Anamika. He is elated about the matter and he breaks a news to her that leaves her surprised.
