Christine: Christine is the French form of the Medieval Latin name Christianus meaning "a Christian". Tales of Alexander the Great's celebrated triumphant battles continued to be told from Antiquity up through the Middle Ages and into modern times. Hamilton: The Hamilton family name, was a Norman name that came to Scotland from England. It is thought to derive from the village of Hamilton or Hameldune near Barkby in the county of Leicestershire. The village name comes from the Old English elements "hamel," which means "blunt," "flat-topped," or "crooked," and "dun," which means hill. There is a town of Hamilton near Glasgow, which took its name from the family, but may in turn have spawned more instances of the surname.

Laurens: The surname Laurens comes from an old French given name Laurens (Laurentius in Latin). Versions of this given name were popular throughout Christian Europe due to a Saint, so named, who was martyred in Rome in the 3rd century A.D.

Christine: Christine was a very uncommon household name in the early 21st century. Christine's parents — Alexander and John — wanted their daughter to have a unique name.

Alexandra: This is a no-brainer for most of us. If it's not, I'll explain it to you. Alexandra is the feminine form of Alexander. I rest my case.

Hamilton-Laurens: Again, a no-brainer. But I'll explain anyways. When Alexander and John married, they decided on becoming the Hamilton-Laurens family, rather than Laurens-Hamilton. It just fit really well together.
