A Great Loss

Stella was walking through the palace as she & Octavia got back from their trip, she saw her husband Stolas who was drunk & unconscious while surrounded by absinthe bottles. She sighed disappointedly as she put him to bed, then she got a trash bag & cleaned up

"I swear, that husband of mine will be the death of me." Stella sighed as she picked up his grimoire but something fell out of the book "Hm? What's this?"

Stella picked up the item which revealed to be a photo of Stolas when he was a child with an Impling

"Wait, is that the imp he constantly sleeps with?" Stella said surprisingly "So they've known each other since they were children?

Stella looked at the back of the photo which was written in the words "My very first ever friend Blitzo."

"His first friend?" Stella said softly in shock

Stella was not only shocked but she was also confused, her head was filled with many questions. The next morning, Blitzø was making breakfast.

"Fuck, that was the worst humiliation of my entire life, that's the last time I spy on Moxxie & Millie ever again." Blitzø sulked "I can't believe Fizzarolli & Verosika were there, either it was me or I struck Karma, if it was I definitely learned my lesson."

After Blitzø finished cooking breakfast & set the table

"Loona, breakfast." Blitzø called but there was no response "Loona?"

Blitzø went to the door to Loona's room & knocked on it

"Loona, it's time to wake up." Blitzø said but there was still no response "Loona?"

Blitzø entered her room which revealed to have no one in it

"That's strange, I thought she would be back from that party she went to." Blitzø said

Knock! Knock!

"Now, who could that be?" Blitzø said as he opened the door & saw a police officer

"Are you Blitzø?" The officer asked

"Yes, I am." Blitzø said

"I'm afraid I have some bad news." The officer said as he took off his hat

"What's wrong?" Blitzø asked

"Do you know anyone by the names Loona, Moxxie, & Millie?" The officer asked

"Yes, Loona is my daughter & Moxxie & Millie are my employees." Blitzø said "What about them."

"Blitzø...your daughter & employees are dead." The officer said as Blitzø eyes widened

"...What?" Blitzø said shockingly

"Your daughter overdosed on drugs while your employees were killed in an accident." The officer said

"N-no, no, they can't be dead." Blitzø said

"I'm afraid they are, I'm sorry." The officer apologized as he left

Blitzø closed the door & leaned back against the wall before sitting on the floor as he was in shock

"No, no, no, no." Blitzø sobbed in tears

Meanwhile, Stella was in the kitchen pouring her some coffee as she was still confused about what she discovered.

"Morning Mum." Octavia came with a smile & sat down at the table

"Morning, love, you seem happy today." Stella said

"Well, Dad's taking me to see the stars today." Octavia said

"The stars? Oh, you mean Azathoth's Tears." Stella said

Octavia then noticed the picture on the table as she picked it up & looked at it

"Mum, what's this?" Octavia asked

"That's something I discovered in your father's grimoire, I'd learned that Imp he sleeps with is his first ever friend." Stella sat down at the table

"Really?" Octavia said "Hm, no wonder Dad likes him so much."

"Yeah...Via, was I really that bad of a wife to your father?" Stella asked

"Well...I'm gonna be blunt with you, but you were awfully shitty towards him." Octavia said

"Thanks for the honesty." Stella deadpanned

"Sorry mom, but you always insult Dad constantly for no reason & don't think I know what you call your Marriage Anniversary with him. I mean seriously a Not-Divorced Anniversary, that's basically just asking for a divorce." Octavia said

"I know." Stella sighed

"You know, I'm beginning to be under the impression that you never loved Dad." Octavia said

"I didn't, we were arranged to birth you since the Goetia Family wanted a precautionary heir." Stella said

"...So, that's what Dad was trying to tell me." Octavia said "If you hate being married to Dad then why don't you just divorce him & leave, I probably won't need you now that I'm older."

"Octavia, while it is true that you're older, you're father & I haven't finished raising you yet." Stella said

"Mum, I'm 17." Octavia retorted

"But you're still a child, you only have one more year until you are officially an adult." Stella said "By the time you're of age, you'll start learning the basics of being a part of the Goetia Family. You should consider yourself lucky, because your father had to learn all that when he was 11-years old while you got to have a normal life."

"...So Dad had it rough, did he?" Octavia said

"Yes, that's the price of being born into a royal family." Stella said

"Oh..." Stolas groaned as he rubbed his head & entered the kitchen

"Morning Dad." Octavia said

"Unh..." Stolas groaned again

"Via, could you give your father & I a moment, please?" Stella said

"Alright." Octavia said as she left

"Stolas, have a seat." Stella said

"Stella, I'm really not in the mood for your screaming right now." Stolas said bitterly

"I'm not going to yell at you, I just want to talk." Stella said "Please."

"...Oh, alright." Stolas sighed as he sat down "Alright, what is it you want to talk about."

"Well, when Via & I got home, I found you unconsciously drunk on the floor." Stella said "What happened while we were away?"

"I was out." Stolas said

"Out?" Stella raised her eyebrow

"Okay Stella, I was out on a date with Blitzø." Stolas said frustratingly

"How'd it go?" Stella asked

"How'd it go?" Stolas repeated confusingly "That's all you have to say is how'd it go? I thought you would be screaming at me at this point."

"Never mind that, just tell me how'd it go." Stella said

"It was a disaster, our relationship was nearly exposed." Stolas said "Is that all you want to talk to me about?"

"No, it's just...I found this in your grimoire." Stella said as he showed him the picture

"Oh, so you know him & I were friends when we were children." Stolas said

"Yes...Stolas, where did it all start & how did you two meet?" Stella asked

"Well, it started on my 11th Birthday, my father Paimon took me to the circus & that's where I saw Blitzø for the very first time. He used to be a circus performer at the circus along with Fizzarolli. My father bought him for a day to be my friend & after that, we never saw each other again." Stolas explained

"I see...did you develop feelings for him when you first laid eyes on him?" Stella asked

"I did & I still have feelings for him. 25 years later, we reunited with each other." Stolas said

"Was it on the day of our anniversary?" Stella asked

"Yes, when we slept together, I thought he wanted me, but unfortunately he only wanted the book for his business." Stolas sighed

"...Stolas, I've never been one to apologize for my behavior & actions but...I'm sorry." Stella said

"It's fine, Stella, I don't blame you for hating me, after all there was nothing we could do since we were arranged to be stuck with each other." Stolas said "Listen, I know you have a distaste towards imps, but can you please give Blitzø a chance, so you can get to know him if it's not too much to ask."

"...Alright, Stolas, I'll give him a chance but only because I pity you." Stella said

"Thank you." Stolas smiled

"Master Stolas, Mistress Stella." Chives said

"What is it, Chives?" Stolas said

"It's Lucifer, he wants to see you at his castle." Chives said

"What for?" Stolas said

"He's setting up a meeting with the Overlords & the rest of the Sins." Chives said

"What's this meeting about?" Stolas asked

"It's about...IMP." Chives said reluctantly as Stolas & Stella's eyes widened

"He knows." Stolas said

Later, Blitzø was walking in the streets after mourning for the loss of his employees & daughter until a Limousine came his way

"Blitzø." Octavia called out from the window

"Hey kid." Blitzø said simply

"I've been looking for you, my father has asked me to come get you." Octavia said

"What does he want now?" Blitzø rolled his eyes

"It's Lucifer, he knows about your company." Octavia said as Blitzø stopped

"...What." Blitzø said

"Lucifer knows what you've been doing with your company, he along with the others are having a meeting about it & they're expecting you right now at his palace." Octavia said

"Take me there." Blitzø said as he got into the limo

"Are you alright, your eyes look a bit red & puffy." Octavia said in concern

"I'm fine, let's just go." Blitzø assured

"Oh, okay." Octavia said

"I guess this is it for me, now that Lucifer knows what I've been doing with my company, who knows what he'll do to me as punishment. Maybe if I could..." Blitzø thought "No, I shouldn't be running away like a coward, I'm the founder of IMP & I should take responsibility for it, if Lucifer is gonna punish me then I should prepare for the worst & endure it."

Meanwhile, in a dark room

"Well, I guess we pulled it off, didn't we." A figure with a female voice said

"Yep, now that Blitzo has no employees, he's on his own." A figure with a male voice said

"That'll teach that idiot." The female said "Did you tell Lucifer about what Blitzo has been doing with his company?"

"I did, whatever punishment Lucifer is gonna give him, I hope it'll be literal hell for Blitzo." The male said. "In the end, he'll just die alone."
