Adiya's (Diya's) POV

"Anandji! I am very very disappointed with your services! I want you to leave this court forever!"

"But Adiya!.."

"Call me Your Highness!"

"Yes Your Highness, I have been very faithful to this kingdom. I have never ever been traitor for my motherland!" He pleaded.

"It's not about being a traitor! Your mindset is too low! You interfere in all matters and now you are trading our information to the King Dhruv! I thought I could trust you! I Shouted while he shivered with fear.

"Trust me Your Highness I would never ever do that!" He pleaded but all that fell into my deaf ears.

"Fine. I will give you a benefit of doubt! I won't punish you! But I want you to resign from this court! Right now!" I Commanded.

"Your wish is my command , Your Highness! Please accept my resignation from the duty of the court." He bowed and left the court!

"Daughter..."

"Father please, I know you trust him but I don't! After whatever happened! I can't believe that my plan to loot that ship failed!" I Exclaimed.

King Dhruv's (Sahil's POV)

"What!? I can't believe this!" I tried to sound sympathetic while Anandji just ranted about how he was insulted and thrown out of the court by the Princess.

"I don't know how she came to know about my alliance with your kingdom!" He was clueless. While I appreciated the intelligence of the Princess. She was intelligent enough to find out the traitor but fool enough to spare his life and give him a benefit of doubt.

"Your Majesty! I want to avenge my insult! I promise my undivided loyalty to you!" He Exclaimed.

"I am sure I can trust you!" I  agreed. However I was still doubtful if a person like him could ever be trusted!

After he left the court, a Minister declared the news!

"Your majesty, the Princess has returned our two crew members! They are safe and sound." Said the Minister.

I asked to present both of them.

"Your majesty! It has been an honour to be in your service." Bowed the Caption and his assistant. The Caption was named Asitji. Though he was old, he was still an experienced and healthy sailor.

"I am glad that people are ready to risk their lives for their motherland! Did they harm you?"  I asked them even though I knew the answer.

"No your Majesty. They attempted to ask me a few questions about our kingdom but we didn't reply. So they stopped the attempt to question us. Besides we were treated like Royal guests and dropped on the borders very safely." He replied, pleased with their hospitality. However he was still sulking a little.

" Did you meet the Princess Adiya, Captain?" I asked curiously.

"I didn't get the opportunity to meet her or any of the Royal family members." He looked disappointed while I hid mine.

"Your Majesty, they had captured our ship and I heard that they are about to sell it to fetch the high prices from the market!" He complained.

"That is okay. You don't need to worry. I will ask the treasury department to allot you the compensation amount in order to cover your losses." I assured him, furious about the shrewd behaviour of the Princess. She covered her expenses by selling our ship!

Asitji also handed me over the letter by the Princess

"Respected King Dhruv,

How are you doing? I hope you are in the best of your health because that's what you will require in the upcoming days. But let me first congratulate you for your win! It was very clever of you to send an empty ship and distract us! It was my folly to underestimate you.

Like a seasoned player, you attempted to distract me from my goal. And you were successful.

I never knew how much humbling experience it would be to play mind games with a person like yourself. I must say I am impressed. However I must point out that you have made a terrible move! Really! You will know why. Very soon.
