King Dhruv (Sahil's) POV

"All the ministers present here! I want your opinions on this matter!" I decided to wait and brainstorm with the Ministers of mine about their opinions with regards to the letter that Princess Adiya had dropped for me.

I got various inputs. Vansh thought that we should attack them when they least expect it and take them by surprise. It was a nice idea but owning to the recent events, the majority of of our arms and ammunition were stolen so we were not into any position to declare any surprise attack. I had ordered my army to create more arms so the process had started. Yet I was worried if they would wage a surprise attack on us.

Someone suggested that we must ask our allies to help us. That was a good idea and we sent our messengers to the kingdom of our allies. We had asked them to be ready for any upcoming war. Though I doubted if they would be ready to participate. The combined strength of the Kshitij Kingdom and the Harsha Kingdom was a nightmare for many.

So I decided to go with the plan given by my Diya. Though it was meant for the chess game, I wondered that even our rivalry was similar to that of a chess game. I decided to wait and anticipate their every move.

Meanwhile, as suggested by her, I decided to somehow ensure that the number of our spies in the Kshtij Kingdom double. I needed to keep a track on their movements.

Adiya's (Diya's) POV

"I can't believe this! We are ready to give you an army of thousands and yet you want to win the war in such an unconventional way?" chuckled my grandfather as we got seated.

We were in the library. I, my parents and my grandparents were busy discussing our next move. What to do now?

"Father, Anandji has been given permission to enter into Surya Kingdom's borders. He has gathered some information. The kingdom mainly imports the food for their soldiers from their ally kingdom as their food as their country is not much invested in agriculture. Their primary source of income is through manufacture and oversea trade of handicrafts, silk, ivory, and pottery as well as jewelry of precious stones. I know what we should do next." I grinned.

"Adiya, why can't we just use our army to attack them directly, now that the number of their weapons has reduced?" asked my mother.

"Because I have played chess and I want to finish this war in an easy way. You know what we do with the King of the rival?" I asked my mother.

"simple, we Check and mate him so that he has to surrender." replied my father who was great at playing chess.

"exactly, I want to make him surrender! So that he has no option other than to turn himself in. I would surround him with many problems. He would not be able to survive ." I said.

Besides, I wanted to avoid bloodshed. As much as possible. Something I promised to Guruji before leaving the Gurukul.
