Escape What?

○I remember clearly how many times I've been caught in a plan of escaping. However I never truly asked myself what exactly was I or in some case we, escaping to. In the beginning there was hope that some were actually fighting for some place out of this madness however that was no were to go. Cause everywhere we turned was just like the place we came from.○

I felt suddenly even more trapped the walls seemed closer and closer. I paced the small elevator taking my hand cuffed companion with me and his dog.It was hot and I was starving. We hadn't a idea how to get out. "Stop pacing you make it hard to think of ways of escaping."

"I'm sorry everything goin on is a little over me head!" I shout my voice echoing. Just then there was a loud thump above us followed by another. I looked up blood falling on my cheek like a rain drop.Toothless growled loudly and Hiccup shushed him.

"The things heard you!" He suddenly said to me.

Another fell hitting the place above our heads we could see unlike the first two it didn't exactly die or we'll die again. I could see the rotting face through the vent like ceiling. It's ugly bleeding eyes looked into mine and it let out a horrible scream like roar.

As is blood filled teeth tried to bite me through the ceiling I looked at Haddock. "We better be quiet," he said.

I looked at the door, "We 'ave ta get this open," I tell him. I dug my fingers between the doors trying separate them however I had no such luck at getting it to open.

"We can't we don't know what's on the other side, besides there's nothing to pry open the door!"

"Then Mr know it all how do we get out?!"

He looked at me then with his free hand he pointed up. Just great we're dead. Tell my mother I still hate her guts. Looking at the thing as it struggled to get in. I let out a sigh grabbing my bag pulling it over me and then grabbing my skate board.

"Okay let get the hell outta 'ere," I said handing my board before attempting to get one Hiccups back to reach the ceiling. It was complicated expecially with only one hand. I hit my plams against the screen trying to avoid the weird dead thing.

"Don't get bit," he said.

I rolled my eyes pressing harder upwards the metal screen moved quickly causing the three things to Trimble down one of the non-moving fell to the floor and was easily avoid the second fell by Haddock leg hitting him causing him to almost fall forward the still moving fell knocking me off Haddock shoulders and into the none moving ones. Hiccup was jerked forward with me. He landed on the small space next to on his back. Somehow Toothless had been avoid.

Pinned on my back I let out a silent cry as the things teeth snagged my shirt just barley bitting through I used my knees and arms to push it off as It back hit the wall Haddock sat up taking my boarded and slamming it into the things head.

Blood gushed spraying on my face and my arm jerked hard and I almost scream in pain as he did this. After he was done he looked at me and I stared at my arm that was cuffed to his. "Ye idiot ye almost took my arm off!" I said.

"Your not bit right?!" Ignoring the fact he ignored my last statement I replied with a grunted no. Hiccup then got up and we looked at each other and are cuffed hands.

"This is gonna take awhile," he says.

An it did somehow we managed to get up together along with Toothless. The Elevator had gotten about half way to the first floor. Slowly Hiccup sent Toothless forward, the black dog jumped his paws hitting the floor I flinched waiting for snarls and growls of the dead however it was completely quiet.

Taking a breath we jumped down together hitting the groaned quietly. I took in a breath looking around glass, and blood covered the deserted floors of the mall. Along with a few completely completely decapitated bodys.

Shopping bags were left desert clothes layed ripped bloody and carelessly thrown. I didn't have a weak stomach so I didn't throw up when I seen the bits of torn flesh on the floor. I wish I could say the same for Haddock.

He threw up I turned my head away. "Seriously?" I hissed.

"Shh, we don't know if were alone," he whispered. I rolled my eyes and took in a breath jerking Haddock with me. "We need to find anything that could help us survive."

He started to pull me towards a store. I platted my feet form on the floor, " First of all ye ask me before pullin me inta a plan, second ay think it best if we figure away ta get these cuffs off first."

Suddenly Hiccup eyes widen and I gave him a confused look then I felt it something cold was pressed against my temple. Then a loud click sounded in my ear. My eyes glanced to the gun pressed to my head then the person holding it.

A large man with dreads. Beside him was a man with black hair goldish gray eyes and two gold teeth were you'd expect vampire teeth to be located, along with a handful of piercings. Next to them was also a woman with dark curly hair like mine just less wild along with another man who wore a mask red and white blood splattered on one side.

The woman put a dagger to Haddock throat. She was extremely close to him for my liking. My fingers trembled and I clinched them tight. "Look at what we got here," said the guy with gold teeth, "Fresh pieces of bait."

"Look what I found," Another guy appeared along side him a dark haired girl. Together the dragged in Toothless who had wondered off a bit to check around.

Haddock eyes filled with realization, " No way of all people to make it this far in the zombie apocalypse Hiccup Haddock is one of them," The guy carrying toothless smirked.

"Hello Dagger, Heather," He greeted coldly.

"Not nice to see you cousin," Dagger says. His eyes landed on me, "Who do we have here? Your girlfriend?" I huffed he came towards me handing the collar off Toothless to the man in the mask. Dagger than took my chin in his hand moving my head slightly, "Cute."

I snapped my teeth at him, and the guy with dreads kicks me in the back of the leg causing me to fall to the ground on my knees. I groaned, "Don't hurt her," Hiccup says panicked, the woman pressed the dagger deeper into his skin.

"Were not gonna hurt her...yet," the guy with gold teeth said.

"Who are ye?" I demand earning a kick in the back.

"Im Pitch Black," he says he pointed to the guy with dreads, "Hes Draco," then the woman with curls, "Gothel," Then the guy in the mask," Yokai, and of course Dagger and Heather."

"Listen we don't want trouble," Hiccup says. As trickles of blood broke fromhis skin because of the dagger.

Gothel laughed, "The worlds trouble, welcome to the apocalypse."

VANELLOPE (P.O.V)

○Zombie land is like a races to escape. Escape what exactly? Reality most likely, because in the real world known as the apocalypse wasn't a place someone wanted to be. In this reality there was no winning, cause life was already a game over.○

"There is no way I am crawling through this vent!" I said through the walky talky Hiro had given me before sending me into the girls rest room. He was currently in the boys and we both stood in front of a vent.

Seeing as to the bathrooms hold the only vents and we could only escape out of those we went to our genders bathroom. I was good with going through the vents until I came in face with my vent. Blood droplets created a trail that disappeared deep inside.

I didn't have a good feeling about that. Hiro however didn't seem to care, "Come on you wanna get out of here or what?"

"I wanna get out of here," I said, "Just not die in the process."

"Your not gonna die," he says.

I was quiet a minute lifting the talky to my mouth pressing the button I said, "Im sure they told the same thing to all thoses people outside now zombies trying to break in. "

I could picture him rolling his eyes, "Listen I don't have time for this, suck it up Suger Rush and do it."

"Easy for you to say Gummy Bear," I hissed. We used the nicknames we had somehow given one another a little over a hour we've known one another. Adjusting my bag on my back and gripping the talky I got closer to the open vent, "If I die im coming back to bite you, literally."

"Yah yah whatever just turn down the talky volume we don't need anyone to hear," he replied I sighed doing as told.

Carefully I climb bed in careful to touch the blood. The vent creaked and I flinched each time it did. I could hear Hiro in the vent beside mine. I glanced down every so often though the small vents into rooms.

The whole building wasn't clear of those things. Some rooms were simply blocked off. Half the building had those things in it. I had told Hiro this and he just pretty much ignored me. "So whats the plan exactly how in the hell are we gonna get your brother?"

He didn't reply at first, "We will meet him in the basement were will take the passage way into the sewer which will walk down until we get down town, then to destination."

"Destination?" I wondered, "Never told me what that was."

"It doesn't matter," he says.

"It does If your gonna drag me there!" I argue.

"I never said you were going, the deal was we help each other get out we never negotiate after that," he says.

I wasn't sure why but his words hurt. I pushed the button to reply but then let go. I had nothing to say. I continued making my way through the vent. The blood trial got thicker. Just before I got to the part of the vents that connected me and Hiros vents I came across a hole.

It looked as if something fell through. I bit my lip looking through this was were the blood trail ended. On the floor was a big splat of blood. I shiver leaning forward slightly trying to get a look at what fell through even though I had a pretty good idea.

"Sugar Rush? Im here were are you?" Hiro asked though the talky. I was about to reply but the talky slipped falling though the whole and into the blood. To my surprise it didn't break.

I stood frozen for a minute listening. There was not sound anywhere. Knowing if I called down the vents, someone could hear me that I didn't want to. An I knew me and Hiro need to contact each other through the talkys to complete our plan.

"Okay, Vanellope I know I said I would never do something stupid and reckless, after agreeing to help Hiro but I have to get the talky," I said to myself. Slowly I hopped down my feet hitting the floor.

Just as my feet hit the floor Hiro voice came through the speaker, "Listen just answer me Vanellope, im sorry if I said something wrong if you like we could stick together after getting out im sure Tadashi wouldn't mind."

For some reason I smiled I bet down to pick up the talky but stopped as I heard a loud groan. I let out a surprised gasp as a few of those flesh eaters stepped out the shadows. They let out horrid screeches. Panicked I grabbed the talky and began to rush to the table to pull myself up into the vents that ran through the roof.

The place appeared to be a old office I hopped onto a desk. The things dived for my feet and I jumped grabbing the the vent hole. Instantly one of the four zombies grabbed my foot yanking me down. I tumbled to the hard floor my head smacking against it. My leg hitting the corner of the desk before hitting the floor tearing a hole in my striped tights.

My vision was blurring and I was sure my head was bleeding. Desperate not to get eaten I slambed my foot into one of the zombies sending them back knocking over another. The four quickly made the way towards me and I stood up wobbly. Backing away as one got closer I knocked a book shelf on them.

As it became trapped I jumped on the fallen book case and rushing to the door. However it was locked. Panicked I knocked over another shelf trying to block the zombies and slow them down.

My fingers the laced around the closet door jerking it open. I shut the door quickly locking it from the inside. The thing screeched and groaned banging on the door. My vision blurred more and I touched my bleeding head.

Slowly I fell back into the wall. My vision became fuzzy the last thing I heard was Hiro voice through the talky, "I trusted you wouldn't abandon me, I guess I should have seen it coming, I'll find Tadashi and escape myself, bye Vanellope."

(A/N: Kinda suck sorry, anyway hoped you liked, next chapter I was thinking Rapunzel, maybe Hiro if you guys want anything else just tell me, if you'd like a different p.o.v I can make it work.)
