The day after I helped yuya in his duel against Sylvio, they lead us to their duel school so Rin, Lulu, and I joined the Youshow Duel School. So, me, lulu, and rin along with the kids were at the school we were waiting for Yuya, Zuzu, Sora, and the kids to show up.

Rin: hey jason those link monsters of yours are cool

Jason: I know I love these guys I feel a real connection with them when I duel

Lulu: really you do

Jason: yeah, link monsters are great each link monster has their own strengths, but all shares the same weakness

Rin: really

Jason: yeah, they do

Rin: so, can you teach us how to use link monsters

Jason: I would but you need link monsters in order to do it 

Tate: so, we need Link Monsters in order to link summon

Jason: link monsters are strong, but their strength lies in their Link Arrows

Lulu: is there anything else we need to know about link monsters

Jason: to summon a link monster you need certain monsters to summon, so take Decode Talker he's a link 3 monster so to summon him you need 2+ effect monsters, so all monsters needed to summon Decode Talker must be Effect monster

Rin: that sounds complicated

Jason: You can even use other link monsters to link summon

Lulu: really

Jason: So, if I have Code Talker which is a Link 2 and LinkSlayer on the field my code talker acts as two monsters so I would have 3 monsters to Summon Decode Talker

Rin: so is that all we need know

Jason: not really you see link monsters don't have a level or defense points, so they can never be set in defense mode and the have a link rating going from one to four but there are only two link five and one link six monster

Rin: really

Jason: also, when a link monster is summoned to the extra monster zone if its link arrow points to an empty zone in the main monster zone then I can summon more Link monsters

Lulu: those Link monsters sound really complicated

Rin: Jason, I challenge you to a duel

Jason: sorry Rin but I'm going to have to pass

Rin: why

Jason: because I don't feel like dueling right now

Rin: is it because of your duel against that guy sylvio

Jason: oh, please a duel against sylvio is amateur hour

Lulu: but jason can't you just duel her

Me and rin made our way to the duel field and put on our duel disks and we then activated them.

Jason: next I activate the continuous spell Cynet Optimization and due to its effect I summon Flame Bufferlo

Jason: now I activate Garbage Collector's ability I return a different cyberse monster to my hand to special summon a cyberse monster from my deck with the same level buy different name I return Flame bufferlo to summon Sea Archiver

Sea Archiver level 3 (atk 300/def 2100)

Jason: now I activate Flame Bufferlo's ability when it's faceup and leaves the field, I disarcd a card from my hand and draw two cards from my deck I set these two in the link arrows I summon link 2 Splash Mage

Jason: now for his ability I Special Summon a cyberse monster from my graveyard in defense mode, come on back sea Archiver now I set these two in the link arrows I summon Link 3 Decode Talker

Jason: I set two cards facedown and end my turn

Rin: and since she was special summoned you take 500 points of damage

Rin: also, I can Special summon another windwitch monster I summon another Windwitch Ice - Bell and you take another 500 points of damage

Rin: and since I control 2 windwitch monster I can summon the tuner monster Windwitch Snow - Bell

Rin: now I tune my level one Snow bell with my level three I Synchro Summon Windwitch - Winter Bell

Jason: I play pot of greed allowing me to draw two cards

Jason: I also activate monster Reborn to bring back Splash Mage, and I'm not stopping there because I set Splash mage and Micro Coder who's in my hand in the link arrows, I summon link 3 Shootingcode Talker

Jason: Next I set Transcode Talker, Shootingcode Talker and Code Generator in the Link arrows and Transcode Talker is acting as 2 link materials, I summon Link 4

Jason: Accesscode Talker

Accesscode Talker Link 4 Dark Attribute (atk 2300/ LINK -4) (Link Arrows ⬇️⬅️⬆️➡️)

Jason: now for his ability by choosing a like monster used to Summon him he Gains atk points equal to its link rating x1000

Accesscode Talker (2300 + 3000 = 3300/ LINK -4)

Jason: Now I activate his other Ability by banishing Shootingcode Talker I can destroy Windwitch - Winter Bell, and I play monster Reborn to bring back Transcode talker, also monsters co linked to him gain 500 atk points

Accesscode Talker (atk 3300 + 500 = 3600/ LINK-4) 

 Now Accesscode talker attack rin directly

Rin: yeah, I can see you that your Link Monsters are something else 

We walk back into the room with Lulu and the kids, and they kids started asking me questions about my link monsters and if they can my other link monsters.

Lulu: kids stop, if Jason doesn't want to show you his cards he doesn't have too

Rin: Yeah, and Jason those Link Monsters are amazing

Jason: how about we wait until Yuya, Yuzu, and Sora show up and I can show you my link monsters

They agreed and about five minutes later they showed up and as promised I showed them all my link monster and they stared at them in awe and were confused when I told them about their abilities and told them more about how they work.
