Narrator: Umbaran Secession following the death of the senator of Umbara Mee Deechi the planet demanded justice on those Guilty and Demanded Rodia Pay for its hand in this Heinous crime.

However the republic refused and Umbara only two months later would secede and join the CIS resulting in Kashyyyk being threatened. 

the Republic determined to prevent this from cutting them from Kashyyyk  Mustered a mighty Invasion force of 4 clone legions and a brand new Earth Spartan Army. 

(AN: Slight explanation here, A Spartan Army Essentially Consists of the finest troops from each of earths Nations combined to form formidable armies designed to face heavy resistance in essence their shock armies. Plus it's a Halo reference so that's cool lol).

(Resolute Above Umbara).

OBi wan Kenobi, Marshal Tanya Degurechauf and several Other Generals from Earth along with Anakin and Clone commander Cody, Captain Rex observe a Holo map report from the 13th Recon Imperial Mage Battalion on Umbara.

"Our main objective is the Capital city However Mage reconnaissance has discovered substantial resistance waiting us and weapons we've never seen before so caution is going to be our main focus in taking the capital and we will advance on 3 routes.

From the north General Tin with the Allied Kingdom 4th army group will advance to cut off any hopes of Umbaran retreat.

The south will be covered By General Krell with the Atlantan 2nd Army Group to act as a barrier preventing any backup from arriving.

I'll command the Center with the Federation 23rd, 8th Tank armies. 

However further to the South Will Be General Skywalker Your objective is too keep the Umbarans as busy as possible and to prevent them from rushing in reinforcements in Case Krell can't get to his position soon enough to stop them. 

However You'll be Joined By Marshal Degurechauf and General Rommel commanding the Spartan 9th Army." Obi wan says wrapping up his debriefing.

Krell then chooses to speak up. "Would it not be more useful for earth to send Marshal Degurechauf's Main army I mean look at it The earth 1st combined army has over 300'000 men with far more mages and armored Divisions then the Spartan 9th army which only has 4 mage battalions and 90'000 troops."

Tanya shakes her Head in disbelief as the Federation general speaks up. "The Spartan Armies are something we've been working on for months now and they are primarily supplied by Various Special Ops Groups.

and besides Umbara's Forests are so Dense Our larger combined armies would be lucky to get through." He explains for Tanya.

"I Agree The spartan Armies are more Mobile and for a Battle like this Mobility Is more essential than brute force." Anakin says in agreement.

Krell simply nods in return as Obi wan Speaks up. "We can't waste time we need to head to the surface now." He orders as the others nod and break away.

(Surface).

Descending the Assault ships unleash their formidable Gun ship loads as mages race forward to knock out AA Guns and to cover the Gunships.

From the lead Gunship Anakin Activated his comm. "AT-RTs Deploy Now." He orders.

A chorus of yes sirs replies as Clones board their Small walkers dead set on wiping out Umbaran Artillery units. Beside Him Tanya also activates her radio. "Soldiers its time for us elites to do what we do best." She says as the gunships carrying the Spartans open.

Jumping out they charge into the wall of artillery Fire. The clones were stunned they had assumed the Spartans would wait Until the RTs had cleared a landing zone but some Spartan units outright ran past them into Umbaran lines.

What some thought would be a massacre turned out be a victory as Spartans Charged and obliterated any Umbaran unit dumb enough to try and stop them suffering light casualties due to their advanced training.

"You Guys are crazy." Anakin comments to Tanya who rolls her eyes. 

"As if your not the same." She calls out as she jumps to the surface followed by Rommel. Anakin Meanwhile lands his Gunships and races forward beside Rex and Fives and Echo who plow a path through The Umbarans with the Spartans.

After only 2 hours the Republic had captured a ridge and Tanya ordered her men to halt advance for now while she Anakin and Rommel converse.

"OK we've secured This ridge here." rex says pulling out a Holo map. "However the other commanders report more stubborn Umbaran resistance in other sectors and Aren't making as good of progress as we are."

"Hmm IF we continues to Attack More Umbarans would be Drawn to us right." Anakin questions.

"Probably if we attack with enough ferocity they may believe one of the other Commanders to be  a diversion and may focus on us more." Tanya Replies in support.

"We could Advance to this Air base Here it's most likely where Umbaran reinforcements are being supplied and directed from." Rex Points out.

"Probably I'll gather the men and we will be ready to march on your command general Skywalker." Rommel says running off.

However as the clones and Spartans and mages form up a Gunship lands and out walks General Krell.

"general Krell to what to do we owe the pleasure." Anakin says warmly.

However Tanya and Rommel were glaring at the larger Jedi. They had done some research into Krell's Background and he on average suffered 50% Losses in every engagement making him one of the few Jedi Earth outright hated.

Tanya tunes out most of the conversation until Krell announces he'll be taking command causing Tanya to stare at the Jedi in shock as Anakin boards the gunship.

As Anakin's ship lifts off Rex Tanya and Rommel Approach Krell. "It will be an honor to serve under you sir." Rex says trying to be friendly.

"CT-7567 Stand at attention  when talking to a superior officer." Krell snaps causing rex to look at him in shock and snap to attention.

The entire exchange was observed by Tanya and Rommel who glared at Krell who simply walked past them as he issued orders.

"Form up the troops mixed formation of clones and Spartans. We will advance along the main road and charge the Capital head on." He orders the three who stare at him in shock stunned by his insane orders.

"No." Tanya replied firmly causing Krell to turn towards her.

"Are you being insubordinate Girl." Krell Growls. "I am Giving you a direct order you will form up as I've ordered and our combined strength will smash into the Capital and provide relief to the other legions." 

Tanya doesn't flinch as Krell marches to her and stares her down coldly. "Lets get something straight her General." Tanya snarls. "I am In command of the 9th spartan army and Only I will give them orders you have no authority over my men.

Further more if you go through this suicide plan there will be consequences that I can promise you." 

Krell just glares as he walks off and it isn't long till the clones begin to march followed by the Spartans from a distance. 

Many of Tanya's troops wanted to march beside the clones to prevent their unnecessary deaths something Tanya allowed.

However as they got closer to the main road Tanya turned to Visha. "Sereberyakov  I need you to contact General Kenobi and let him know what Krell is doing and I need you to convince him to place the 501st under our command." She commands as Visha nods in reply before Flying off.

Shortly after The clones are ambushed as explosions and laser bolts tear through them The Spartans only get angrier when they here Krell order the clones to stand their Ground and to keep fighting.

"That's it." Rommel Growls as he grabs his blaster and charges forward followed by most of The army.

The arrival of their Earth allies Is enough to reinvigorate the clones as Spartans race forward to shield the clones as Rommel orders them to retreat while calling in mages who begin to fire on the Umbaran Forces.

As the clones Regroup Krell storms forward to Rommel. "GENERAL ROMMEL what are you doing ordering my men around."

Rommel doesn't even flinch as several Spartans raise their weapons at Krell threateningly. "I was saving your men Krell or have you forgotten the number one rule of being a general Save your men." He says angrily.

"That's it you stupid." Krell says raising his lightsaber only for it to be shot out of his hand.

Turning around Krell is stunned. watching the whole ordeal was Tanya who now held a smoking blaster and Visha holding  a Hologram of General Kenobi.

"Most disgraceful General Krell." Obi wan says shaking his head.

"General Kenobi I can explain." Krell says worriedly.

"No I'm not interested in hearing it General Rommel was In the right and you are out of line General Sereberyakov has informed me about your stupid and reckless plan that would've wiped out your entire battalion so Here is what is going to Happen. 

Marshal Degurechauf will now hold overall command over these operations and You my friend will answer to her any  disobedience will be dealt with a she sees fit." OBi wan says firmly.

Krell bows acknowledging the order as Tanya gives him a Smug grin as the clones grin under their Helmets at seeing the Butcher taken down a peg or two.

Tanya glanced over at the landscape as she now prepared to make Umbara Kneel.
