(Berun airspace).

As the twilight continued to be led by the imperial mages The Jedi and clones could only stare in awe at the architecture below them. They saw a strange flag one with two dragons and while earth clearly was not as advanced as the republic it still was impressive what they had managed to accomplish.

They finally landed in a small airfield outside the imperial capital and 100 imperial soldiers as well as 20 mages stood at attention with their weapons fixed on the republic visitors. A man dressed in a uniform teh republic did not recognize stepped forward.

"Greetings visitors from space. I am Major General Weiss Of the empire What brings you to our planet."  

"I am general Anakin skywalker of the galactic republic." Anakin says while giving the imperial a small bow." That's captain rex. These are his men Fives,  Jesse and kix." Anakin says gesturing to the clones."

"Very interesting how they all look the same. Is that normal." Weiss asks with an eyebrow raised in curiosity. 

"Yes sir we were all engineered with the same face and voice. Though some of us have differences like facial hair and different hair styles." Rex says answering the General's question.

"I see thank you captain. I can give respect to fellow soldiers." Weiss says giving rex and the clones a salute while the other imperials do the same. 

"And who is this strange alien." Weiss says gesturing to Ahsoka.

"I am a togruta from the planet Shili. I'm also the Padawan of Anakin skywalker the names Ahsoka tano."

"It's a pleasure to meet you all I must ask. Are their any government officials with you like senators or governors." Weiss asks gesturing at their ship. 

"No just us for now general." 

"Oh so their may be more coming from your republic." Weiss asks a little shocked. 

"Yes if negotiations go well with your planets leader. "

"I'm afraid we have many leaders on this planet you will have to be more specific. There's over 200 countries on this planet so you will have to be specific."

Anakin and the others were shocked they had never heard of a planet having so many leaders and regions.

"Then we wish to speak with The highest ranking official in your country General."

"Your in Luck General skywalker. My superior wished to speak to you and actually sent us to escort you to her if you came for negotiations. However your clones should remain at the ship I can assure you we will not harm them. "

"Very well General Weiss However could Rex at least join us."

Weiss nodded his head in acknowledgement as rex told his men to remain at the ship and maintain contact with the fleet. Rex , Anakin and Ahsoka followed Weiss as a very nice looking vehicle  Pulled up. 

"That's a very interesting speeder." Ahsoka says gesturing at the vehicle." 

Weiss couldn't help but chuckle at her confusion at seeing a car. " Its not a speeder miss tano. It's my staff car I told you I was supposed to escort you to see my superior and this will be much quicker then walking." 

The car then parked and another soldier who Weiss said was his driver. "here allow me to get the door for you gentle men and lady." The driver says opening the cars passenger rear passenger door.

"You didn't have to do that we could have gotten it ourselves." Ahsoka says as she steps into the car while giving the driver a light smile.

"Yes I'm sure you could have mam but it is my job to show the proper curtsey to foreign visitors." The driver says as he shuts the rear door and steps into the driver seat.

The drive was only 30 minutes but during that time Anakin bombarded Weiss with questions on the planet's history and Ahsoka asked random questions about the car and the engineering feats of the world.

Eventually they arrived at the Strategic HQ building and Weiss began to escort them to the top floor where they approached an office with two wooden double doors. outside the office though was a young woman with brown hair going over some files on her desk.  

"Colonel sereberyakov could you please tell the grand marshal that our visitors have arrived." 

"Of course general Weiss." Sereberyakov says as she walks into the office.

After 20 minutes of waiting Sereberyakov came out of the office holding the door open. 

"The grand marshal is ready for you three now. " She says as she turns to Weiss." Weiss She also wants us in there."

"Yes mam. Come on guys we must not keep her waiting." Weiss says smiling to the republic visitors as they walk into the office.

Anakin and teh others were once gain awestruck at the sheer size of the grand marshals office and sitting behind the desk was what looked like a 25 year old woman in a very fancy uniform more fancy then General Weiss.

"Greetings Visitors to from the republic I am Grand Marshal Tanya Von Degurechauf of the imperial military. May I interest you in some refreshments. " She says gesturing to some coffee that had been bought in.

"I must decline Mam Republic doctrine states no caffeinated products for active military personal."

"Ah I see General then would tea do." 

"YEs that's fine."

"General Weiss can you retrieve us some tea for the meeting."

"Yes mam." Weiss says clicking his heels together. 

"Now then I would prefer we get right down to business." Tanya says straightening up in her chair. "What does your republic want from our planet. Or more specifically the fatherland."

"We are looking for allies in our galactic war against the separatists Or the Confederacy of independent systems."

"If we were to decline your terms just out of curiosity what do you believe the separatists would do to our planet how do they differ from your republic in treating planets under their rule?" Tanya says drawing circles with her hands for emphasis.

"From what we can tell your star system the androva galaxy Has a lot of resource rich planets that would be crucial to the separatists war effort. Terra is the only inhabited planet in your whole star system as far as we can tell." 

"So essentially we join the separatists they suck us dry of our resources correct?" Tanya says leaning forward so that her elbows are resting on her desk. 

"Yes that and even if you offered them unconditional loyalty they have a tendency of executing all non droid military personal on a planet." Ahsoka says as Anakin joins her in explaining all the other separatist atrocities. 

"DO you have proof of these atrocities." Tanya asks gesturing at them with her hand.

"Yes here look at this." Anakin says as rex hands her a data pad. A device that Tanya was very shocked to see. Anakin was very grateful that intelligence had gotten those pictures as they could tip the hand of this planet to helping the republic free the galaxy. 

Tanya thinking:( If we allied with the republic they could unite this world and aid us in crushing the communist threat. Besides we can't let the confederacy get away with these atrocities they have committed on millions of innocent civilians.) 

Tanya then confirmed to Visha and Weiss who finally came in with the tea. That the republic was correct about the atrocities and that the data pad confirms it. 

"That goes against all rules of war." Weiss says in anger as he gestures at the separatist numerous accounts of slavery." How can their government even approve of such actions." Weiss says turning to the republic officials.

"We are pretty sure the confederacy senate has no idea about these atrocities as Dooku the head of the confederacy would probably lose support for the war effort. The confederacy is heavily based on money so corporations and greed run the confederacy not democracy and logic."

"Those monsters will pay for what they have done to civilians if I have anything to say about it." Visha says with a look of unbridled fury as she looks at the pictures.

"While I cant accept an alliance on behalf of the emperor I can arrange a meeting for you guys to meet him to discuss this further. Does that work for you guys." Tanya asks glancing at the republic officials. Tanya was also angry with the actions of the separatist military While she did not believe in being X she had developed some very strong moral principals during her time in the army and had become more compassionate and dedicated to her country and fellow imperials after Visha nearly died protecting her from Mary sue. 

"Yes that would be wonderful we should return to our ship so we can contact our capital." 

"Very well I will have a staff car come to take you back to the berun air port." Tanya says as she reaches for her phone to call the motor pool. 

(Berun imperial palace 3 hours later).

"Your majesty there is a telephone call for you. From Degurechauf."

"I see thank you Frederick." He says walking over to the telephone .

"Gotten tag Fraulien grand marshal what is it you wished to discuss with me. Oh I see so this republic wants to negotiate I shall oblige them. Yes I want to to meet them in 3 days I hope they well be treated well during that time. I bid you a most respectful farewell Grand marshal long live the empire."

AUTHORS NOTES: well  now things are starting to get more interesting. MY friends i hope you all  look forward to what this story has in store and also.
