It has been five years since Team Sonic was whole, they disbanded since Sonic suddenly disappeared without word and it was believed that he had abandoned everyone giving the blue hedgehog's former friends a hatred of him, even his self proclaimed girlfriend Amy Rose.

Now in the small town called Tin Can where Tails and Amy now currently live, Sonic suddenly turned back to visit his old friends but were met with cold encounters.

Team Chaos meanwhile have had their misfortunes. After their final battle against Dialobus five years ago, X the Hedgehog had sacrificed himself to defeat his demon father and was sadly presumed dead leaving only his cloak behind.

A grave was made for their late friend and had draped his cloak over his tombstone in respect. Twister was hit the hardest by this however she secretly had a deep feeling the Demon Prince was not truly dead.
