Right now, it had been two days ever since Kai had fought against Denku (If you can call it a fight). So now we can see Kai who was busy doing some martial arts training as he was busy shooting out attacks at targets he had made to get better at firing.

It was morning as we can see Kazuma and Ingvild going around the town of Kuoh. Ingvild wanted to go out and see the town that they were staying at due to the fact she didn't see it as she was chased by Fallen Angels.

At first, Kazuma didn't want Ingvild to go out because even in the day, you can never be too sure of who can be watching you and waiting to pounce.

However, he knew that he couldn't keep Ingvild inside forever, especially since she needed to go out and see the world herself.

So, he agreed to show Ingvild around the Town of Kouh so that she can know when to go when eventually has to go out and see the world.

Kazuma: Like what you see?

Ingvild: Oh, I sure do. It looks amazing, and it has a lot of things to see.

Kazuma smiled at that.

Kazuma: Glad to hear, so, where would you like to go first?

Ingvild thought about it.

Ingvild: I want to see a mall that I hear people talk about.

Kazuma: Hold on, you don't know what a mall is?

Ingvild: Well uh...considering that I've lived for a long time.

They heard a sound and looked to see a young blonde haired girl in a nun outfit.

Kazuma: Hey, you ok?

Nun: Oh um, yeah...

Kazuma: Here, let me help out.

Kazuma soon packed all the things up back into the suitcase.

Kazuma: Here. I see you're not from around here.

Asia: Um, no. I'm Asia Aregento. Nice to meet you.

Kazuma: Same here. I'm Kazuma Ryusei, and with me is Ingvild.

Ingvild: Hi.

Kazuma: So, what brings you to Kuoh?

Asia: Oh um, I'm looking for the Church.

Kazuma raised an eyebrow at this. As far as he was concerned, that Church had been abandoned for ages. Why would someone like Asia, be heading there?

Kazuma soon took Asia's suitcase.

Kazuma: Tell you what, we'll take you there ourselves.

Ingvild: Really?

Kazuma: Yes.

Asia: Oh um, I don't want to be a burden...

Kazuma: Listen, you're gonna need some help. And I rather do so now.

Asia: Oh, well um, thank you.

Soon, they went off to the Church. And as they were going, Ingvild whispered to Kazuma.

Ingvild: *Whispering* Kazuma, why are we taking her to the Church?

Kazuma: *Whispers back* It's because the Church she is looking for has been abandoned for years. Something doesn't sit right with me.

Ingvild could see the serious look in Kazuma's eyes so she nodded.

On the way, they saw a boy who grazed his knee and began to cry in pain. Asia, seeing this, walked to the boy and knelled to him.

Asia: There there. It's ok.

Asia's hands soon glowed and soon healed the grazed knee of the boy.

Ingvild: Does she-

Kazuma: Yeah, it appears she has a sacred gear. Now this makes things more suspicious.

Ingvild: Do you think...?

Kazuma: That may be, but for now we need to keep quiet about it for a bit.

Soon, they headed and arrived to the Church as they see it appeared to be very old, to the point it appeared that no one had been to it for fifty years, yet surprisingly it looked to be in a good enough condition to house people.

As they arrived, Kazuma whispered to Ingvild.

Kazuma: *Whispered* Stay here for a bit. This is a Church we're dealing with, and we might bring a lot of attention.

Ingvild nodded.

Soon, Kazuma and Asia headed to the door of the Church as Kazuma knocked on the door. After a minute or so, a man with white hair and red eyes in a priest outfit.

Asia: Father Freed.

Freed: Ah, Asia, it's good to see you here. I see you made a new friend.

Asia: Two actually, they helped my way here.

Freed: Well thank you a lot. Say, we're having tea, would you like to join for a bit.

Kazuma knew while this "Freed" person may seem nice, but was in fact hiding his true intentions behind a mask.

Kazuma: Sorry, but no thanks. Me and my friend have to quickly get going somewhere.

Asia had a sad look.

Kazuma: But we promise to come and visit.

Asia perked up upon hearing that.

Freed: Very well.

Kazuma: Goodbye, Asia.

Asia: G-Goodbye, Kazuma-san. May God be with you.

Kazuma nodded before exiting the Church and arrived back to Ingvild.

Ingvild: So, what do you see?

Kazuma: A lot of signs that something is off about that Church. The fact they have a girl with a sacred gear coming to a run down place like that only means they don't have good intentions.

Ingvild: Then, what do we do?

Kazuma: For now, nothing. We don't want to rush in and make assumptions about it despite the damning evidence. We'll have to wait until we can get a chance to get in and try to expose these people for what they are planning.

Ingvild: Oh, I see.

Kazuma: Now, let's get going. We can be spied on by anyone here. This is devil territory.

Ingvild: Right.

Troy increased his power as he tried to strike at Kai, but Kai soon did a limbo to dodge the attack.

Kai soon did a roundhouse kick at Troy's face and then punched Troy in the gut.

Before Troy could try and attack Kai, Kai dodged and punched Troy in the gut and lifted him before throwing him into a mountain that cracked on impact.

Troy charged up as he glared furiously at Kai.

Troy fired at Kai with a big blast, but soon, Kai summoned his lance and cut through the blast as it split and cut blast like toilet paper.

Troy: What?!

Kai soon spins his lance and did various slashes at Troy who screamed in pain as he got sliced many times.

Before Troy could try to get back up, Kai soon dashed as he slashed and strike at Troy many times and then lifted Troy in the air and strike him down causing a big crater to form.

Troy: G-G-Ghh...

Kai soon landed and stared at Troy.

Kai: Are you done?

Troy: I have had it with you!

Troy dashes and tries to strike at Kai, who dodged the hits with ease before he kneed Troy in the gut as he coughed up blood.

Troy: H-How...? I...I have a powerful sacred gear...

Kai shook his head.

Kai: That's not how it works. You may have great power, but you never trained with it. Power may seem like everything, but if you lack the training and strength to wield it, then it is just useless, just like you are.

Troy was enraged upon hearing that.

Troy: How dare you! I'll make sure you will die for this!

Troy charged up and tried to blast at Kai, only for Kai to send him back flying by using the palm of his hand.

Kai: Now then...

Kai soon charged up his lance before doing a powerful slash.

Troy looked in fear, and just when he was about to be sliced down, he vanished.

Kai: Hmm, what just happened.

Raynare: I'm here to offer you a deal.

Raynare: That boy you fought was a thorn to my side. So, I'd like to help you.

Kalawarner: Agreed to that.
