I dashed down the hall, shooting anything in my way, until finally I reached the room I was looking for.

"Olympus: activate strength semblance."

"Yes sir."

I smashed the door open, and it went forwards and right into the commander guy, who cut it in half with his weapon.

"Ah you finally arrived. It's about time."

"Ready to settle this?"

"I don't know. Are you ready? (Y/n)?"

He turned to the side so I could see a beaten and hurt Ruby, and I felt my rage boil to a tipping point when I say that, and I put the rifle onto my back, taking out my pistols and flipping them into knife mode.

"Oh don't feel betrayed. She was so strong, refusing to tell us anything within her short time staying with us. But, they all break at some point. Especially when it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the anti fang and one she cares for are he same person."

"Let her go. And I may just let you live."

"Ohhhh is the merciful antifang here to offer me solace? Well guess what? I DONT NEED IT! ITS TIME TO END THIS WORM!"

"YOU STARTED THIS! YOU KILLED MY PARENTS. AS MUCH AS I WANT TO KILL YOU FOR THAT! AS MUCH AS I WANT TO...."

We both paused, as the tension in the room began to soar, I spoke up again.

"I'm willing to let you live if you give me her."

"Aw. You think you can negotiate."

He then turned to Ruby, his sword in hand.

"Let me give a taste of what's to come. Shall we?"

He then stabbed his sword into her leg, and she screamed in pain, a tear coming to her eye.

"NOOOOOO!"

I charged forwards with my blades being activated, but he was quicker then I thought, bringing up the high powered sniper axe form the fox fawnus I beat the night before beacon.

"This is for my son!"

He threw a knee to my gut, but instead of meeting flesh, he meet metal, and I felt no pain. It didn't matter though. Nothing was hurt.

"You done? My turn."

I brought my own knee up and onto his gut, activating the rocket boots for the extra damage. However he didn't even recook in pain, if anything he absorbed it.

"Now, your going to see what real power feels like!" He shoved forwards with all his might, and I went flying back and into the wall, denting it.

"Anything you throw at me, I can throw back. There's no defeating the unstoppable force."

"Well let's see how you go against the immovable object!"

I fired off a ice round, but he absorbed it, and then threw an ice spike back at me. Picking up his axe, he charged at me once more, and swung, still having he strength left over from my attack, his swing rivaling the suits base strength semblance.

"Olympus raise semblance level."

"Yes sir."

My strength was then doubled, and I threw him off and onto a wall, and he absorbed all the energy from that attack.

"Well I'm smart..."

He got back up and had a bronze fury to his eyes, kicking off the ground and leaving a foot mark, slamming right into my blades, and cussing a indentation in the floor.

"Olympus how can I beat this guy."

"He gets stronger with every attack, but according to records those with this power cannot sustain a powerful attack from themselves or special types of dust. We don't have that type of dust or poison so you will have to go with the counterattack method."

He pushed harder against me, and I was having a bit of struggle pushing back.

"Unfortunately the only documented record shows the attack must be of at a intensity of at least 100,000 pounds of force per square centimeter."

"Bloody hell."

He brought his knee up and smashed against me, sending me through the ceiling, and onto the next floor and next. Some white fang were there, all playing cards, and turned around to see me, quickly reaching for their guns. Flipping both my weapons back  to gun mode, I shot them all down before that could happen, and was rewarded with my dancing partner greeting me with another grab.

"MY SON WAS EVERYTHING!"

He picked me up and smashed my armor, my shield taking a significant hit from it.

"Power dropped form 85 to 75%"

"Shit."

He tossed me up and uppercut me through the ship and back onto the main deck. When I got to the surface, I activated my rocket boots, and landed safely on the ground, followed by mr anger issues who had both his sword and axe.

"YOU KILLED HIM!"

I dodged his attack, which tore right through the ground, and shot him with electric bullets, hoping he wouldn't able to a absorb that.

"Greaaaaat. He can absorb anything."

I flipped my guns back into energy sword mode, and they had roughly 10 seconds left of energy.

"Shit."

I cross cut the debris he sent at me, and then tired my best to hold onto my weapons as he slammed both his weapons against me again.

I flew backwards and towards the end of the ship, skidding ok the ground and dropping my guns.

"Measuring 65,000 pounds per centimeter sir. Keep building his energy. Then reflect it onto him."

"How much power do I have?"

"60% sir."

"Of course."

Now he didn't even have his sword, and charged me like a bull ready to swing his axe.

"Olympus charge strength to 50,000 pounds per centimeter."

"Sir, that will cost as least 30 percent power in order to output, not mentioning it might break your hand due to low shielding and improper testing. And you may even miss."

"Do it please."

"Yes sir."

I turned towards him as well, taking out my gun and turning it to spear mode.

"Here goes nothing."

I threw the spear as hard as I could, and a gunshot propelled it forwards, and it was dead on target, hitting the white fang commander straight in chest, halting him as he absorbed its power.

"HAHAHA HOW MY SOM WAS TAKEN DOWN BY SUCH A FOOL IS A MYSTERY TO ME. BUT YOU DISGRACE HIS GRAVE BY BEING SO."

He was behind me within a blink of an eye, and slammed both his fist into my upper back, holding them together for a bigger punch.

I felt that one, probably breaking, if not at least dislocating my shoulder. The hit sent me soaring through the air, and made me skid across the ground, just barely catching the ships end. When I did, a gust of wind flew past me, and my grip just barely held.

"Power?"

"At 25% sir. Activating healing systems."

"Great."

I stood up, my lens cracked and the suit damaged in several places. My guns I had no idea where they were, and the only weapons I had left were either my "semblances" or the electric pulses.

"Olympus. Is there a way I smash his aura?"

"He would would to hit himself."

"Then it's time for him to be mortal. Activate speed semblance.

The suit did as I asked, and I dashed in front of him, punching him with my other arm, since my other one was hurting, but being healed by the flux of healing pills and suits self repairing system.

"You say I murdered your son..."

I punched him in the back, hurting my free hand from the momentum of it, but gaining that extra boost of damage

"But I didn't."

I stoped the speed semblance and stood rigt in front of him, ready to do this face to face.

"Suit at: 19% power. Approximate punch force at 205,00 pounds per centimeter."

"You killed my parents. And now you hurt my Ruby. For that. You cannot be redeemed by any action."

I saw his rage boiling, and his fists clenching, ready to strike.

"Hit me like I'm your disappointment of a son." I said, activating the suits semblance last minute.

He threw a left hook in order to take me out, but I dodged out of the way, and forcibly curved it in so he would hit his own face. I was processing things at Moch 3, and the force of his punch sent the both of us flying.

I fell back threw he holes opened up by the fight, and took a hit as I fell, my suit I longer protecting me like it should.

"Ow! Ow! Ow ow ow ow ow!" I said, bouncing off and getting snagged by wires.

Finally, I hit the bottom, and the lens to the helmet cracked even more, the air tight seal being breached, and meaning I should take the helmet off. I twisted it and threw it to the side, looking back to a tired and worn out Ruby, who has a weak smile on her face.

"Hey (Y/n)..." she said softly, coughing a little as she did.

"Hey Red."

I slowly started to push myself up, and smiled back at her, before I heard something falling, and I turned around to see what it was. Now on my back, I saw a falling pesky white fang commander, who landed on my chest with a hard thud, and his leg maybe breaking.

"You may have knocked out my aura, but I'm not going down with a fight!"

Pulling a knife from his belt, he went to stab it into my head, and he finally got a good look st my face.

"And now, you shall die (Y/n). Same as your mother, father, and past life."

He thrusted the knife forwards, and I just barely held it over my head before it would have killed me.

"Sir I'm detecting electrical spikes around us." Said Olympus in my ear piece, no longer having my helmets heads up display.

"I'm a bit busy here Olympus!"

I could only hold it for a couple more seconds, since the suits strength semblance was gone, along with everything else, it now only running on emergency power. He then put his body weight on the knife, and I pushed it to the side, having him fall to the side with it.

Rolling to the right, I quickly stood back and looked for any time of weapon to use, but nothing was around. I looked back up to my aggressor, and he was now holding something in his hands he shouldn't ever receive.

"Funny. You're going to be killed by your girlfriends weapon."

"Then that's one hell of a way to die."

I rushed forwards and smacked the gun to the side, the shot going off, but not hitting me. I pushed the but end of he gun into his face, probably breaking his nose since his aura was down, and grabbing the gun for myself. Knowing how it worked, I switched it into scythe mode, holding it with two hands.

"Oh I'm gonna enjoy this." I said, getting into a fighting stance.

"Sir, another spike. It's right next to you. I believe it materializing."

"What?"

That's when a loud boom went off, and a bloody red portal went off, with no way to discern what was on the other side appeared.

"Would anyone else like to join this bloody fight?!" I said, picking up Ruby's weapons, ready to hit the commander.

"Fuck it. Here is your new home!"

The blade wrapped around him, and I fired off another shot to make it push forwards, digging into his back and slicing him in half, sending his front half forwards. Both parts were then sucked through that portal, with him screaming from the pain, and I was still left panting, leaning against Ruby's weapon, and Ruby was still up against the wall, trying to remain conscious.

"Sir that portal is unstable, you need to leave." Olympus said in my ear piece, since I no longer had visuals for my helmet."

"Don't have to tell me twice!"

I put Ruby's weapon back in gun mode, and picked her up, using the last of the suits energy to nullify the pain thought my body, and activate the rocket boots. When I got to the breech in ship we would escape from, I kicked my helmet up and onto Ruby's lap, who weakly held onto it, and I kept my grip tight but not uncomfortable.

"Well, this battleship is probably going to sink. Or explode. Either one. I don't really know, let's just get out of here!"

We blasted off and away, going as fast as we could to land fall.......

(Y/n):

About 5 minutes later we got back to a dock, not the one we left from, but regardless I was land. The pain going through my whole body was indescribable, but I needed to keep going. For Ruby. The suit had then just run out of power, right as we got over dry land. I braced my legs so we could land without dying, and I'm pretty sure that I had just sprained both my legs, but I more important things to worry about. While we were flying I noticed Ruby was shot. Stomach wound, bleeding, but her aura was keeping her alive for now. However, it's gone now. And I don't have much time.

I quickly stumbled to continue standing, but I couldn't stand anymore, barely able to keep her in my arms, nearly dropped her from sheer exhaustion.

"(Y/n), you're hurt. Carrying me isn't going to work. ".

"I still, argh, have to try....".

I attempted to stand back up, and carry her to any type of hospital, but I only made it a few steps before I collapsed, but made sure Ruby wouldn't be in any more pain. I let out a small scream of agony, and felt a tear come to my eye as I tried to stand up again. Ruby put her hand to my cheek, and simply stared into my eyes.

"(Y/n), you know it's already to late"

"No, no Red it's not, it's never to late, I'm not letting you die, not here, not now, not ever!".

Now tears were really coming out, and she chuckled a little saying "so the great hero can cry.....".

She leaned back into me, and closed her eyes, wanting to live her last moments next to me. I tired to move to get out a healing pill, but she spoke, and I froze.

"I want to die in peace (N/n). Besides, you have been out for days."

"No no, I'm not letting you di-".

She pulled me by my  collar opening in for a kiss, and I was shocked at first, but quickly feel into it, pouring all of my emotions into it, not wanting it to stop. I felt her get weaker and weaker with every second, and eventually she broke away. It wasn't from her wanting to though, but it was because she couldn't, because her wounds were to great. Because the pain had swept through her, and one can only defy it for so long.

"Red......Ruby.....no..."..

I quickly pulled out all the healing pills I had, and put her on the ground.

"You're not dying in my watch Red, and I didn't run out a couple days ago."

Moving the batteries in my wrist computer and tools out for lightning dust ammo, the system quickly rebooted, and I hopefully had everything I needed. I threw every sort of healing pill I had into the ammo cartridge of my wrist injector, and activated a minor pulse touch to my other. I injected Ruby with the healing pills, and gave her heart a light shock, and checked for vitals. I gave her another light shock, upping the power, be hopping for a different result.

"Come on Red, come on...."..

She was still, and the air stood flat.

"Come on, come on.....COME ON!" I said, my voice desperate, and out of breath.

Nothing. My tears hitting her lifeless body, and the world standing still.

"COME ON!" I said, punching a crate with all my rage, causing the crate to smash, reveling shipments of jewelry and clothes.

"I need you red.......please....."

Her body was lifeless, and I pulled her back towards me, holding her hand, and burying my face in her neck. I loved her, with everything I felt, have felt, or will feel.

"I'm so sorry, Ruby, I should have been better. I should have been the hero you wanted me to be. I don't know where that bullet came from, but I know it was form my recklessness in the fight. I should have just tanked it, instead of being a coward and having it shoot off to the side. I'm so so sorry, for failing the women I loved...."

I felt nothing all around me, only the pain of failing.

"I would and will do anything to get you back. And if I did, I would never let you go. Never ever. Even if you hated me,I would still be there. Even if the world was at stake, I would choose you. If I had to relive the night everything was taken from me over and over for the rest of eternity, but you were safe and alive and happy. I would do it. Even if I had to choose between you and my soul back.......I would choose you......"

There was more silence, and I pulled her in closer, so even if she was alive that only she could here. So the whole world would not be able to hear my next few words.

"Even if I had to choose between you and everyone at beacon, being the anti fang, and keeping some the happiest memories of life. I would choose having you back in a heartbeat....."

"In a heart beat....."

  Wind brush against Reds face, brushing her hair to cover her eyes. I simply moved it to the side, and starred at her, my sadness swallowing me whole. My wrist computer dinged, but I didn't care, it usually gives me random noises anyway. Hope is the death of mankind, the death of good, the death of love. Hope is what she gave me, and hope is what gave me the courage to do what came next.

"Wha-. What happened?".

I saw the most beautiful girl in the whole world suddenly stir, and her speak the words that reignited my energy, my body, my love, my dead hope.

"Red!".

She tried to sit up, but I already put my hand on her face, and pulled her in for a kiss. This time, she was shocked at first, just like how I was, but she feel into it, and returned the kiss back. We stayed like that for a while, nothing being able to stop us, or bother us, to hurt us. All the pain, the agony, the acing of my body, and my heart, it was all stopped, by this moment.

"Well somebody is glad to see me". She said, coughing once and smiling back at me

"I thought I had lost you".

Weakly wrapping her arms around my neck, she softly said, "you will never lose me, no matter how hard you try".

"I nearly just lost the women I loved to the guy who helped murder my parents. And I just beat him, I'm sure as hell not going to lose you now. Not ever".

She pulled in and so did I, sharing another sweet, passionate kiss, and she pulled back only slightly, me being able to feel her breath, and her entire presence.

"I love you Red, with all my heart".

"I love you to (N/n), with all my heart"

I pulled her back into a kiss, and that's how we stayed for a while at that dock, finally getting our moment in the sun. Our moment of truth, or glory. Regardless of circumstances. This is the happiest moment of my life. Ruby, is my life. The anti fang is a hobby, beacon? A pastime? My friends? I'll cherish them above almost everything. But Ruby? There isn't anything in this world I love more, and that's never gonna change.
