"Room keys, for the each of you. Our room is 6-402, right next to team RWBY" announced carth, who held all of our keys as we kept walking.

Me and Endar looked to each, other nodding a wicked smile. I looked to our other 2 teammates. Yin had line green highlights in his short blonde hair, and Carth had a gelled up bright orange, almost really hard to look at.

"So, see we all know each other, how about we share our semblances?".

"Not a bad idea Carth, you go first".

He rolled his eyes, and said "I'm a telepath, able to communicate with the mind and such, and draw attention to myself or away from myself. Yin here, can control energy, which is why that gun is so effective. Aren't I right?".

"Yer sure are mate".

"Sweet!" Said Endar, who slid in right next to Carth.

"So I got this girl I want to impress...".

"Endar!" I said, smacking him upside the head

"Sorry sorry".

I opened the door to revel, 4 beds spread throughout the room, very ineffective if you ask me.

"So what do you want to do about the bed plan?" Asked Yin, already making his way to the other side of the room

"Uh, bunk beds?".

"Nah let's just do something efficient".

"So we stack all 4 of them?".

We all looked to the ceiling, noticing that it was tall enough for all 4 beds.

"Well it is tall enough....".

Without another word said we all broke perfect harmony, stacking all 4 beds on top of each other, using spare wood we found out back in the dumpster do build a foundation, and fencing so we can't fall. When all was said and done, we stopped back, and looked at our finest creation.

"Well this seems stable enough".

"Oh course it is, I built it damnit!" I said dusting of my hands.

"Who gets what?" Asked Yin, storming his chin in thought.

"Roll dice?" Asked Endar, trying to make it seductive.

"Like under the table? Speaking of which,
(Y/n) is parts of our table in the railing?" Carth added, which made everyone laugh.

"What? No! Alright maybe.....".

Another round of laughter, even from me, and Endar spoke up again.

"But back to the rolling dice thing, I mean, if your up for it...".

"Bro gross"

I rolled my eyes, and pulled out my scroll, threw our names in a generator and let that pick.

"Alright guys, according to this.....Endar you're on top".

"I'm always on top".

"Carth, your mid lower, and Yin, you are bottom".

They all hopped in there bunk beds, and I hopped on mine.

"That leaves mid top, everyone ok with this?".

They all said yes in unison, and I smiled. Just then I got a text from Ruby, and it read

"Hey, there is a party in the ball room, hope I see you there! -Red"

"You guys up for a party...".

"YES!" They all said, already starting to the door.

"Let the fun, begun...."...

[time skip, 10 minutes later]

This party was in full swing, and we had just arrived.

"Alright guys I think we should take to this like a te-".

I turned around to say this it the team, and saw only a white dashed outline of where they were, and rolled my eyes.

"Of course, well I guess I should find Ruby then".

The music was blasting, and I moved through the crowd, trying to find Red. It was stereotype club music (think "lights" or something) and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I noticed Carth was dancing by some girls, and Weiss walked by him, and he slowed down, focusing on her.

"I feel you budy, did the same with Red. But why Weiss?...." I thought, continuing to walk.

Carth then stopped completely, and made his way towards the Queen of cold.

"Maybe I should save him-" I thought, before hearing why he said to her.

"Hey there beautiful, do you want to hear the tale of the North Star?".

"And here we go...." I thought, but why that or all things?

He began to talk to her, and saw me grabbing some punch while growing him the thumbs up.

He then mouthed to me "go away (Y/n)" and I laughed doing as he wished.

I continued to turn my head trying to look for me team, and saw Endar walking outside, following behind that same black bowed girl he saved earlier, who seemed to be stopping off furiously.

"That sucks mate".

I was basically turning 360 now, and I started to walk backwards. Finally fully turning forwards, I bumped into somebody, and caught them by the waist.

"Hey you alright here m-".

I noticed Ruby was in my arms, her clinging onto my shirt for dear life. She looked up and her jaw dropped in surprise.

"Well hello Red"

She was simply wide eyed, and caught completely off guard.

"H-hey (Y/n)".

"Should I leave you two alone?" Asked yang, suddenly popping out of nowhere.

"Where the hel-" she started, before I cut her off.

(Y/n): "Yes".

Ruby: "What?".

(Y/n): "What".

I put Ruby back up, and let go, much to my dismay. Yin came up to just then, putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Hey (Y/n) when should we m-".

Yin stopped mid speech, and just stared at yang.

"Uh, uh, uh".

"Can I help you cutie?" She said in a perky manor, taking advantage of yins obvious inexperience with women.

"Yer....yer pretty....".

Yang began to laugh with me and Ruby, and yin got red faced.

"Well mate, what did you need?" I asked, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"I uh.....uh.....".

"Ah, I see" I said, nothing that he was getting a bit to...well, have you seen yangs outfit?

I then gave him a pat on the back, and smiled turning to Ruby and whispering "distract Yang and get her somewhere else, I don't think Yin can speak right now".

She nodded, and turned Yang away, saying that there was new type of strawberry sunrise available, and they quickly left.

Turning to Yin, I put my hands in my pockets while laughing.

"Smooth Yin, smooth".

"I, I, I....she's beautiful..... I hate my low eq....".

"Hahaha it's alright mate. Now, what did you need?".

"Her.....".

"Alright you hormonal basterd, now what do you really need?".

"I was going to ask you when we needed to head back tot he room, but....".

I looked at his stare, seeing he was totally captivated by Yang.

"Well mate, all I say is good luck. With that girl, and the low eq".

I put my hand on his shoulder and gave him a little shake, making my way back towards Ruby. Yang was already gone, and when I looked back at Yin, or at least where he was.

"Jesus he can leave in a instant".

I turned back to Ruby, who held out a glass of punch to me, and said "raspberry lemon light, try some it's good".

I nodded and took a sip, and from the moment it hit my lips, I gulped it down in a instant. I felt my eyes widen, and Ruby giggle a bit.

"I think I'm in love.....".

She bursted out laughing and we continued to talk for a while at the "bar". Obviously every drink was spiked, but come on, us high schoolers got to have a little fun. Eventually she stood up and held out her arm.

"Uh, what are you doing?".

"I'm sending a social signal".

"Alright let me just quickly analyze....." I sarcastically fired back, throwing a cocky half smirk.

She rolled her eyes and smiled, saying "I'm trying to ask you if you want to dance".

"I would love to, but you seem less shy then usual".

She looked to her drink and said "Yang may of bought me a drink".

I looked back at the 5 shot glass and then back to her.

"Or 6".

I laughed and took her hand, saying "well I suppose we cou-".

She had already pulled me onto the dance floor, and began to move to the sound of the music. I did a basic club dance, and she laughed at my form.

"(Y/n) stop acting like your in pain! Enjoy yourself!".

"But I can't dance Red".

"It's easy, just move your body".

"I am moving my body".

"I mean cut loose (Y/n), be free flowing, like a bear".

"How is a bear free flowing?".

"That's it. That's what I'll call you".

"Um, what?".

"(F/n)ibear! That's what I'll call you! Come on, cut loose!".

I laughed at her new found nickname, but she seemed proud of it, so I thought it was fine. I kept in tune to the rhythm of the music, and I laughed at how stupid everyone looked really.

"I should do this more often!".

"(F/n)ibear, with moves like that, it's a miracle no one has thrown you out".

"Hey!".

She then took off, and I chased her out of the party area, and picked her up, twirling her around with both of us laughing. My footwork was off though, and I fell, with her landing right on my stomach.

"Ow!" I yelled shooting up from the pain reflex.

She continued to laugh at my pain, and I grounded "could you get off please?".

She nodded, and stood up, offering me a hand up.

"Maybe I should keep tallies of how many times I save you from pain" I joking said, rubbing my side as I looked her in the eyes, leaning my head down a bit and having a smile.

"Save me? You are the one who caused us to fall" she said, putting her hands on her hips, trying to be as dramatic as possible.

"Don't bring facts into this".

That caused another round of laughter, until Ruby stopped, and didn't look so good.

"You alright Red?".

"Yeah, let's just, keep walking".

I smiled at her, and we continued to walk in a comfortable silence. Her legs began to wobble, and she sat down on a bench, and I with her.

"You sure you're alright?" I asked, looking at her complexion.

She slowly nodded, but then started turning green. She then dashed over to a nearby trash can, and proceeded to through up. I stayed with her to make sure she was alright, and when she was, she wouldn't move.

"I'm tired.......".

"I'm (Y/n), nice to meet you" I said, giving her a healing remedy pill, to which she quickly took and started to walk forwards again.

There was a silence, and she looked completely out of it, to which I said "red you look pretty tired, can I help you at all?".

"Carry me to my room......" she said, opening up her arms and leaning forward towards me.

"You sure?".

She had already leaned herself against me, and sprawled herself across the floor, half asleep.

"Guess that's a yes".

Picking her up, I made sure she didn't wobble to much, and started to walk back to her dorm. Carth had caught up to me, and saw I was carrying Ruby, to which he simply gave a thumbs up.

"Shut up Carth" I said, throwing him a gaze of daggers.

"Sure thing captain".

"Captain?".

"Well you are leader, plus, a captain always goes down with his ship".

"What?".

"You and Ruby, I ship you both so hard. Think I'll call you.....higher love".

"That's the worst name I have ever heard".

"Then why are you smiling?".

I my face get slightly red, and I felt a half smile creeping up on my face.

"Well I guess since she is asleep, that does count as a ship down...".

"There you go!" He said loudly, giving me a slap to the back.

"Watch it! She is sleeping".

"Oh right.....my bad.....".

We walked back her room, and I knocked on the door, which was answered by Weiss

"There she is, and oh. It's you".

"Good to see you to Snow queen".

I placed Ruby down on her bed, and smiled as she cuddled with her pillow.

"Wish that was me...." I mumbled starting to walk out of the room.

Whoa what? I don't...no I mean....argh damnit! I do wish it was me....

When I got to the door Carth had his scroll out, and was seemingly getting the ice queens number.

"So is this right?" He said, showing her the screen.

"Yep, text me later Carth".

"Will do snow star".

"Don't call m-. Well, I guess it's fine if you do it".

He smiled at her, and walked back to the room, while I leaned against the wall and simply smiled at Weiss.

"(Y/n)?".

"Yes".

"Not a word".

"Sure thing princess".

"I mean it".

"I promise. Would you like something to hold over me to make you feel better?" I asked, not really expecting her to say anything.

She narrowed her eyes, and slowly nodded, closing the door.

"Well, since is obvious you got a thing for Carth, I feel it's only fair to tell you I have some feelings for Ruby".

Her jaw dropped, and I laughed slightly, before I passed by her and towards the door.

"Goodnight Weiss".

"Good night Romeo".

"Why does everyone call me that?".

"You'll see. One day".

"What does that me-".

She had already shut the door, and I rolled my eyes in confusion, whilst I was throwing in the room key and climbing the ladder to get to my bed.

"Well I hope tommorw isn't as tiring....".

I opened the door to my dorm, and everyone was in there beds, all talking about there respective adventures, but Endar was noticeably absent, probaby off trying to charm that Blake chick.

Yin: "Dude, Yang is so hot".

Carth: "You kidding me? Weiss is where it's at".

Yin: "No dude, Yang is better".

Carth: "Weiss".

(Y/n): "Guys guys. You just meet them. Besides, Ruby is hotter then all of them".

"You wanna go captain" started Carth, hopping out of his bunk and putting his fists up.

"You know you would loose".

He shrugged and said "eh, with the way you fought Grimm, probably".

I laughed, and climbed into bed, throwing off my shoes, shirt and belt.

"Everyone go to bed guys, big day tommrow".

They both nodded and hopped in bed.

"Night team".
