I shot 3 arrows from my bow while behind a wall from the tower, trying to take down a pack of Beowolves coming near us. I knocked another arrow and aimed right for its Chest, shooting and having the Grimm being shocked with electricity. Yang was in the beasts mouth, firing her weapons into its throat in order to take it down. It simply tossed its head around, and threw her off, crashing into the hill.

"Weiss! Give me a glyph!" I heard Ruby say, loading up her weapon as Weiss prepared herself.

Another guy was next to me, Yin, one of the few other students we meet up with, firing his sniper/katana at the nevermore, trying to pierce its armor.

"Nothin working!" He said said, reloading another clip in the rifle, and changing it into its blade from.

"Yin, where is your partner, doesn't he have the ability to draw attention to himself?".

"Telepathy? Yes! But he is busy right now!" Pointing to the left, reveling a guy with lime green slicked back hair, and a staff that shot a concentrated laser out of it. How that works I don't know, but I chose not to question it.

Yin then charged forwards at the beowolves, keeping them busy, and allowing me to turn my attention elsewhere. Endar was fighting side by side with Blake, flinging her around with the whip end of her sword, firing his shotgun at any Grimm that got to close. One beowolf broke threw, and I turned the bow into the double blade, slicing clean through it, and turning it back into bow mode. I looked down at my feet and clicked my heels together, the rocket boots once again malfunctioned, and refused to work.

"Oh you have got to be kidding me".

I shot another arrow at a oncoming Grim, and pulled out my scroll, checking my armors readings. Having only 32% power left, the rocket boots being fully out of power, and my ammo for my pistol being halved, I knew I needed to get crafty fast.

"Screw it" I said to myself, and knocked two arrows to my bow, and fired both of them into my boots.

Sure enough, power came back online, and I went soaring upwards, right into the nevermore, and landing inside its foot. Because of the force of the smack, my weapon was thrown out of my hand, and the nevermore crushed tightly on my arm. Just then, Ruby began to run up a the wall, and leapt of it, about to slash the nevermore in half, before she saw me, and hesitated. She missed her swing completely, and got the weapon into its flesh, by only sent it into a rage. The nevermore then let go of me, and I grabbed onto its foot, jumping over to Ruby's as she barely held onto her weapon.

"What are you doing?!".

"Trust me love, the is about to get awesome!".

I climbed over to her and onto the top of the beast, taking her hand and throwing her over my shoulder, causing her to develop a small blush as I climbed onto the back of the nevermore.

"Quickly grab on!".

"Wha-?" Was all she could say, before the nevermore turned, trying to throw us off.

The bird did it with such a ferocity that she went flying upwards, and began to scream in terror.

"Shit....".

I pulled Ruby's weapon out of the nevermore side forcefully, and blood began to spill out of it, and I raised the weapon above my head ready to strike, while taking out chaos. I activated the energy blade and swung her scythe, both weapons cutting the head clean off, and making the nevermore begin to fall. Ruby then soared past me, still screaming in absolute fear. I jumped off and deactivated my pistol, flipping her weapon into its carry form, and firing a bullet into the air, speeding my decent down so I could catch her. I quickly caught up to her, and wrapped one arm around her waist, now having about 10 seconds to figure out how to land. I began to rapidly pull the trigger on Ruby's weapon, slowing us, but the impact would still be devastating.

"you trust me red?".

"What?".

"Sorry about this".

I then threw her into a tree, ensuring her safety, while now pulling the trigger on her weapon as fast as I could, beginning to slow me down but not enough to really help much.

"Welp, guess I have had a good life..." I thought, before being tackled mid air, and flying straight into a tree.

I felt someone basically on top of me, and sure enough when I opened my eyes, Ruby was there, on top of me.

"Uh, hi there Red. Just...argh....that hurts....." I said, feeling my back in pain form the impact.

"Uh....." she began not entirely her hat to say, her hand still on my chest.

"Uh red?".

"Yes?".

"Your knee is kind of in my crouch".

"Oh, uh s-sorry" she said, moving off of me, and onto the branch of the tree.

"That's better. Now, how did we get her-".

Just then, then nevermore crashed to the ground, and Ruby jumped back into my arms, causing me to leaned backwards, and for both of us to fall onto the ground bellow.

"Argh, that is more then painful....".

Ruby was now face to face with me, so close that we were almost nose to nose. I saw her face start to burn up, and I could feel mine becoming a shade of red deeper then Ruby's cloak.

"Oh, should I give you two lover birds a moment?" Asked yang, who already was snapping a picture.

"Yang!".

"Sorry rubes!".

The blonde haired boxer then came over and help her sister up, while Endar pulled me to my feet.

"Come on now mate, a little pain never killed anyone. Especially if it comes from a women's touch".

"Shut up Endar".

"Four years to forgive......".

[time skip to the team ceremony]

"....And finally, we have Yin Tai, Carth Ordeos, Endar Shadowflower, and (f/n) (l/n). All of these boys shall be apart of (T/n), lead by (f/n) (l/n). Congratulations to all of you. Classes begin Monday".

I had a stupid smile as I walked up on stage, got our rooms keys and walked back down. Wow, me, (f/n) (l/n), a leader of my own team. Today couldn't get any be-.

"(Y/n)!".

I felt myself get tackled with a hug, none other then by Ruby, who was squeezing me tight.

"Man this is so awesome! We are both leader! We can talk about tactics and strategy and o leader stuff! Man this is so exciting! You are so awesome (Y/n)!".

I smiled and laughed at bit at her childish nature, and hugged her back, while tossing the rest of the room keys to the rest of my team.

"May the leaders of each team please stay for a moment, everyone else is dismissed..." announced opsin, causing me and Ruby to break apart, but still rather close.

As everyone left, it seemed Ruby was inching closer to me, and I felt a blush red like roses (see what I did there? Eh you will get it in a minute).

"What do you think he wants (Y/n)?" She asked, poking at my stomach as she asked.

"I don't know Red, but let's go find out..." I said, dragging her along as I walked towards Ospin, and so did the other leaders....
