[2 weeks later]

(Y/n):

Me and Weiss had decided to take the kid into the emerald Forrest, thinking that it would be good target practice for lurking Grimm. He carried his own weapon on his back, though it was a little big for him. And by a little, I meant a lot.

"You good there you little pirate?" I asked, poking his shoulder and causing him to stagger a bit.

He nodded and smiled slightly, taking his gun from his back.

"When do I get to fire it?".

"Soon bud, once Weiss tells us where we are going....".

"(Y/n) this is the 5th time I have told you, we will be there soon".

"But whennnn....".

"Soon, just keep going forwards, I got to tie my shoes".

I did as she asked, and mojec was right next to me, as we went through a bush that reveled a cliff side view.

"Well I can understand why she would want here, it is beauti-. Wait a minute, you can't tie heels. We-".

I felt a blast of energy shoved me forwards and off the cliff.

"What the hell?!?!" I said, turning myself back around and towards the mountain and catching a stray branch.

I was able to make out weiss leaning over the top of the mountain, seemingly laughing her butt off.

"Real nice Weiss!".

"Don't be so salty! I knew you would survive! Besides, It made mojec laugh!".

"Of course it did..." I said to myself, pulling my body up.

I took out Havoc and stabbed it into the cliffside and then I did the same with chaos and began to pull myself up. Eventually I got to a point where I branch hung off like a rope, and I grabbed that, pulling myself up. As I approached I heard gun shots, and began to climb faster, until I realized I could just use my rocket boots to propel myself up. Landing on top of the mountain, I saw a group of 3 boar tusks in front of me, and Weiss weapons being knocked out of her hand. Mojec managed to raise his gun, and fired, shooting straight threw the beast, but flying right of the cliff.

"Shit!".

I quickly jumped off after him, firing my guns into the boartusks trying to draw there attention away from Weiss. I flipped back around to Mojec screaming, and I activated my mag app on his weapon, his decent being slowed and starting to rise.

"Don't let go of that weapon!" I shouted, while Weisd screamed "Craaaaaapppp!".

He was slowly pulled upwards towards me,  and when he got close enough I quickly threw him on top my back.

"Just hold on tight!".

I jumped off the cliff side and switched on my rocket boots, flying upwards and back into range of the Weiss and the Grimm. She was wounded, and her sword nowhere to be found, and backing away with fear in her eyes.

"Shoot at another now!" I told Mojec, my boots now in hover mode, but dropping energy fast.

He did as told, and lined up his shot again, and fired, sending us flying back.

"We are retuning that gun when we get back! And work on your aim!" I yelled regaining my balance and shooting forwards, noticing that it missed. The blast actually hit Weiss, who went flying back, and cried in pain.

I surged forwards, putting my boots to dangerously high output levels. Once I got close enough, I threw Mojec off of me, and activated my dust blade. I then landed on the ground and broke into a sprint, , sliding towards Weiss, and slicing of the boartusks head. I grabbed Weiss by the waist as I did this, and then threw her forwards, and turned back to the boartusk. More Grimm had shown up now, but only a couple more beowolves, nothing I couldn't handle.

"You wanna dance Grimm? Let's dance!".

I activated my other blade, and charged them, the last boartusk also charging at me. I flipped over it, tucking my legs in, and extending the blades to slice it into 3 parts. When I landed, I changed my swords back to gun mode, and placed 3 shots into one Beowolf's head, and flipping chaos in knife mode, and stabbing it into the closet Grimm, and then shooting its head twice, before throwing it to the side. I surged backwards with my boots, and threw a ice pill, trapping 2 Grimm in the blast, leaving me 2 more.

"It takes 2 to tango, but 3 to salsa!".

"That's a terrible line!" I heard Weiss faintly yell, to which I flipped her the bird.

I activated both my energy blades again, and charged up my gauntlets with pulsing power. I had a idea, but it was very risky, and could just end up hurting me. I slid havocs blade over chaos, and pushed it off like 2 blades were sliding on each other, and a forwards arc of energy was created, shocking the Grimm and killing some, while I charged forwards and plant both swords through the last remaining beowolves stomachs.

"Well that wasn't so hard" I said, turning of my weapons and bolstering them back.

"Look out!".

I turned around to see a Beowolf about to maul me, but a ice spike went straight threw it, and impaled it. It quickly feel to the ground and I saw behind it a bleeding Weiss, with her hand outstretched, representing that she killed the monster.

"Nice Weiss!".

"Yeah......no....problem......".

She was dizzy in her movements, but if I had to tank a railgun shot, and all those Grimm, I think I wouldn't be able to talk either.

"Hey are you alright?".

She slowly nodded, but was more dizzy, looking like she was going to pass out. I quickly rushed over and offered my hand.

"I'll carry you back, just have some rest. You did good today ice queen".

"So did you "(n/n)".

"Red told you about that?".

"Yeah, I think it's kind of stupid".

"Alright then. Snow star".

"Shut up".

She winced when I moved her, and I tried my best to be fast, and offered her a healing pill.

"Here, take a healing pill, it will at least make you feel better".

She picked it up and plopped it in her mouth, before putting her head to my chest and closing her eyes.

"Gods I wish you were Ruby....." I thought, still carrying her through the Forrest.

Mojec had finally caught up, and saw me carrying her.

"Does that mean you two are dating?" He asked, putting his weapon on his back

"Gross! No!" I whispered back to him, and we kept walking, Mojec nodding and kind of smiling.

"Are you and that girl in the red dating?".

"No" I said coldly, wanting to get off this topic.

"Are you sure?".

"Yes I'm sure, I wish, but no we are not".

"Ok" he said, putting a little bit of perk in his words.

"What is with you today?".

He shrugged and I threw him a half smile.

"Come on, let's get to the infirmary".

"Shouldn't we call somebody?".

"Uh, yeah actually you remember where Ospins office is right?".

He nodded, and caught on to what I was going to say.

"Do a jog, for exercise and conditioning".

"But I don't want to".

"Well to bad, and put a safely on your gun!".

He grunted and then took off, doing as I asked.

"Knowing him he will probably start his walk after he is out of eyeshot".

I continued my walk throughout the emerald forest, carrying Weiss back to the infirmary, in a relative quiet. The quiet was broken, when Weiss started to sleep talk.

"Carth......".

"Oh boy. I'm in for a long one.." I thought, no climbing up the hill to the school.

"Shit, we still have a 10 minute walk from here".

I could summon the ship, but it would be clearly seen, and I want to keep her knowledge of these things to a minimum.

"Put your shirt back on..." she said, giggling as she did.

"Oh fuck...." I thought, only being able to imagine the horror that was he dream.

She kept giggling in her sleep about Carth, and I had to contain my laughter, and balance myself to eat ready for takeoff with my rocket boots since they had recharged. Getting on steady ground, I clicked my boots together and began to fly, soaring past the trees, and into the sky.

"Glad I installed those self recharging battery's. I might have had to finish up my healing pills just to get there" I thought, and flying back to the school....

[1 hour later]

Ruby and the rest of her team came out of the infirmary, her hand behind her neck rubbing it nervously. I quickly got up, along with Carth, and practically everyone else, as Ruby came out to tell us how she was doing.

"She is gonna be fine, a bit roughed up, but not to badly. She will be out tommrow, and be fine by the time class starts".

"Can we go see her?" I asked, already starting to walk in.

"Yeah, but uh (Y/n), and I talk to you for a bit?" She asked, almost a little shaky in her words.

"Of course Ruby, I have to make sure Weiss is ok. Can you meet me on the roof in a hour?".

She was skeptical at first, but eventually nodded, and gave a weak smile, before walking off. I felt kind of guilty for some reason, but then kept walking, and into the room where she was resting. Her and Carth were close, and he slowly his hand hers.

"I better get out...." I said, slowly backing away, trying to remain as quiet as possible.

I slowly closed the door and looked at my watch, and then decided to go the forge until I had to meet up with Ruby. I thought maybe I should make her something, and thought of what to do.

"I got it..." I said, rushing of to the forge.....
