Ethan, James, Taylor, Abigail and the kids held each other as the rumbling of the building continued, before eventually stopping. Ethan opened his eyes as the room was now filled with dust, Ethan then stood up, as everyone followed suit. Coughing is heard as people had just inhaled some of the dust in the air. Ethan slowly approaches the glass door, that is completely covered in dust, and opens the door. As he walks into the streets people are seen leaving the buildings. The nearby buildings were certainly damaged, as some had broken walls, and collapsed ceilings, as fires are seen coming out of the buildings.

  While the street itself wasn't any better, cars were either crushed or flipped, the concrete was cracked, as parts were simply rubble. While now the Head of liberty is seen in a wall at the building next to our group. Some people who didn't make it inside in time were covered head to toe in dust, with minor injuries such as cuts on the arms or forehead.

 "What the hell was that?!" One of the men yelled as he spoke off the dust from his shoulder. The people began to shoot amongst themselves, trying to comprehend what happened. Abigail was holding her twins as tightly as possible from the fear from the situation, while Alice was sitting on the ground, simply trying to wrap her head around this as James comforts her. Taylor then notices that Ethan remained silent as he stared at where the building had collapsed.

 "Taylor?" Ethan says quietly.

 "U-uh, yeah?"

 "When was that article supposed to drop?"

 "Tomorrow evening," she tells him, she then shackenly asks…"why?"

 "Because Billy was right." Ethan goes over to the crowd. "I saw it, by the building it was a living thing that did this!" This draws everyone's attention, it was obvious they couldn't believe what he had just said. However, they can't dismiss what had just happened.

 "Are you sure Ethan?" Taylor asks him.

 "A tail went by the building before the collapse." He states. The people began to panic, unsure on what to do, if a giant creature is out there, what can they do now? People began to yell at each other trying to figure out what to do. James helps his daughter up before going to the crowd and yells catching everyone's attention...

  "Hey! If there really is a monster, it's still here! That means we need to leave now!" 

  "But where are we supposed to go?!" A woman shouts back. James tries to think of something before Abigail speaks up.

  "Brooklyn Bridge… that's the closest way out of Manhattan?" She tells the group. Everyone nods, agreeing on where to go. As some went back inside to get their stuff, while our main group started walking towards Brooklyn bridge. James and his family walk up front while Ethan and Taylor follow. Taylor looks at Ethan, who was still thinking about the monster from earlier…

 "Godzilla…" he mumbles, low enough for almost everyone to not hear, however one person did.

  They had walked two blocks towards Brooklyn bridge. On the way, police were seen setting up evacuations, as they walked by, an ambulance was seen putting a screaming injured woman into the truck. Lucy and Jake flinchs from the screaming woman and hug the sides of their mother tightly. 

 "Don't worry kids, we'll go out of here soon…" Abigail tells her youngest Children. While Alice slowed down a bit till she was next to her uncle.

 "Uncle Ethan?" She calls him as she starts to walk with him. Ethan then hums in response. "What's Godzilla?" She asks him. He looks at her, as he swore he was quiet enough for no one to hear.

 "...Your Uncle Billy, told me about something he found. A monster named Godzilla. I didn't believe him, because who would believe in monsters?" He tells her, but this time loud enough for the rest of his family to hear. While Lucy and Jake had no clue what he was talking about, his Brother and sister-in-law looked at him shocked. 

 "What? You knew?! He knew?!" James asks him hostility.

 "Yeah, but I didn't believe him."

 "What why not, Billy never lies!"

 "Yeah, well it was about a giant fucking monster! How would I know he was right, huh?! You definitely wouldn't believe home either!" Ethan snaps back. James growls as he walks up to Ethan.

 "What the hell is that supposed to mean!?" James yells at his older brother.

  Taylor and Abigail step in between the two. 

 "James stop, you're scaring Lucy and Jake," Abigail says firmly. James takes a deep breath before looking at the twins. 

 "I'm sorry kids… papa's just a little upset…"

  Taylor looks at Ethan, who simply scoffs at James, and continues walking forward. Taylor, however, does not let this slide, and walks up to Ethan, and places a hand on his shoulder.

 "Ethan, are you alright?" She says with concern clear in her voice. Ethan doesn't look at her, and simply says:

 "Yeah, fucking peachy." He picks up the pace, causing his family and Taylor to start walking again. Alice nervously rubs her arm and walks beside Taylor.

 "I'm sorry… I was just curious," the teen says looking down.

 "It's fine… he… he's just stressed," Taylor tells her.

 "Alright…" Alice says before she walks back to her family.

  As they follow the police's directions. They soon find an enormous group of people going onto Brooklyn bridge. The police are seen helping citizens walk across the bridge, while below them, people were trying to get their cars out of Manhattan as well. As they followed the police's instructions, they began to walk across the heavily crowded bridge. 

  Due to the large crowd, Ethan accidentally got cut off by multiple people just standing on the bridge, causing him to fall behind James, and his family as well as Taylor.

  A helicopter flies overhead, and speaks to the crowd;

 "Don't stop, and keep moving. There will be instructions waiting on the other side."

  Taylor notices Ethan wasn't beside them and taps James' shoulder.

 "Hm, yeah Taylor?" He says to her as he carries Jake.

 "Where's Ethan?" She asks him, slightly worried.

 "What are you talking about, he's right...here?" James tries to look around, but sees no sign of his brother. He places Jake down, who walks over towards his big sister, who's seen walking next to Abigail and Lucy. "Crap. Where'd he go now?" James whispers before turning for his wife. "Honey!"

 "Yeah?!" Abigail shouts back.

 "We're going to find Ethan! Wait by the light post!" He shouted, Abigail nodded and took her children with her. James turns back to Taylor. "Alright, most likely he's still behind us, so let's go." Taylor nods, before the two walk back through the crowd. 

  While over with Ethan, he was still trying to push himself through the crowd trying to get to his loved ones. 

 "Why the fuck is no one moving?!" He shouted. This catches the attention of Taylor and James, who began to push through to find Ethan trying to go forward, however there was no more space. 

 "Hi uncle!" A voice says, Ethan looks to his right to see Lucy and Jake right next to him. 

 "What the hell are you guys doing back here?" He asks them. The twins look at each other, before looking back at him. 

 "We heard papa said he was looking for you so we wanted to help!" Jake said brightly. 

 "Alright, so where's your Pa?" He asks them, however he doesn't get a response."You guys just looked for me without telling your parents huh?" 

  The twins look down shamefully.

 "Yeah…" they both mutter. 

 "Ethan there you are!" Ethan turns to see Taylor and James are seen approaching the three. James noticed the two children next to him. "Kids, what are you doing here, you guys should be with your mother!" He scolds them.
  
 "We wanted to help!"

 "Did your mother say you could?"

 "No…"

  James groans, before another voice speaks up.

 "There you two are! Mom was so worried!" Alice yells at the two.

 "Why the hell is everybody here? Kids let's  just get back to your mother." James said, clearly annoyed by the situation. As James begins to walk back to Abigail, Alice takes the time to scold her younger siblings. Before they walk away, Ethan grabs Alice's arm.

 "Do you hear that?" Ethan asks her. They listen closely as they hear people screaming below them. Ethan, Taylor, James and the kids look over the railing to see people running back towards Manhattan, abandoning their cars. A helicopter flies over the bridge. Abigail is seen yelling at James.

 "Hey! Why are you guys just standing there?!" She yells. Alice looks to see something in the water before screaming; 

"Mom!!"

  Suddenly, the ground beneath Abigail and the panicking crowd rises and explodes, as three rows of gigantic jagged plates goes through the bridge. The screams of everyone falling rang throughout everyone's ears, as the giant creature walked away from the scene.

  The reality set in everyone, the portion where Abigail was, is gone. 

 "Mama!!" The twins cry.

 "Abigail!!" James yells he tries to make his way towards the wreckage, however, Ethan pulls him back. The support beams began to tear, as chunks of the bridge began to collapse.

 "James we have to go! Taylor, grab Lucy and Jake now! Alice let's go!" Ethan yells causing Taylor and Alice to snap out of it. Taylor grabs Lucy and Jake's hands, and drags them away from the scene, while Alice ran as tears went down her face. Ethan finally gets James to budge as the bridge begins to crumble by them. The two quickly catch up to the others as the bridge continues to collapse behind them.
