Serena's POV:

"Y...Y..Yes! I...I will be you girlfriend!", I told him and buried my face in his chest, tears of joy streaming down my face, and he kissed my hair, rubbing circles on my back.

"Come on! I've got to get ready for my battle. You will be here, won't you?", he asked me and I nodded my head.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world", I told him and pressed my lips to his, wrapping my arms around his neck. While we were busy, I heard someone clear his throat but I chose to ignore it and tightened my grip, which unfortunately wasn't reciprocated by Ash, and he turned around to look at Calem.

"If the two of you are done eating your faces, can we start our Battle?", Calem asked from the other side and Ash just chuckled looking at his Ponyta-like expression and Calem began to curse.

"It's time for my battle! I'll see you after the match", he told me and walked to the side rolling a small Pokeball among his fingers.

Then, I took my seat and suddenly a massive weight fell on my lap, and I saw that it was Raichu punching the air and probably cursing Calem in his own tongue.

"Are you excited to see Ash battle?", I asked Raichu and his ears shot up and slapped my cheeks.

"RAI RAI!!", he yelled and nodded his head continuing to punch invisible enemies in the air.

I rubbed his head acknowledging the little Pokemon's excitement in seeing his trainer battling and he cooed in pleasure just like how he'd coo when Ash rubbed his head. Ash heard the commotion going on and turned around to see us.

"You'll be in the next battle, okay?", Ash assured Raichu and he yelled his name in joy. Calem meanwhile was cursing non-stop.

"What's the hurry?", Ash asked Calem with a confident smirk and Calem just glared.

"I just want to see that face of yours adorning the pangs of defeat!", he countered and Ash chuckled shaking his head.

"The dreams of a young one should ALWAYS be nourished. Let's just see", Ash said and enlarged his Pokeball, suddenly turning serious.

"That glare doesn't do anything to me. Luvdisc, WREAK HAVOC!!"

"Meganium, I choose YOU!!", Ash yelled and the second Meganium came out, she wrapped herself around Ash squealing in joy.

"Type advantage won't help you! And stop cuddling with your Pokemon! Water Gun!!"

"Use Razor Leaf!!"

"Circle around to dodge the leaves, and use Aqua Ring!!"

"Catch hold of it using Vine Whip, and use Solar Beam!!"

It was a perfect move. The circular motion of Luvdisc was stopped, and Meganium smashed her into a wall before firing at her in a point blank range.

"NO!!! SNAP OUT!!", Calem yelled.

Luvdisc was no hovering around aimlessly, and Meganium just glared at Calem.

"Use Petal Blizzard!!"

"Dodge it!"

But it was of no use and Luvdisc fainted as quickly as she had arrived into the battle arena. I saw the glare on Ashlyn's face rise. Suddenly, her expression wasn't so condescending like it was before the battle.

Meganium was prancing around Ash in joy, and he complied with the celebration of his overprotective Pokemon.

"Just because you've beaten my Luvdisc doesn't mean that you've beaten me. Gyarados, destroy that overgrown twig!!", Calem yelled and Ash just flipped his hair like Drew agitating him even more.

"Flamethrower!!"

"Throw yourself behind using the momentum of multiple slaps of Vine Whip on the ground!!"

Meganium jumped behind avoiding the range of the attack, but Gyarados couldn't see her taking damage and continued to use Flamethrower as hard as it could, but Meganium was standing behind it looking at it expectantly.

"STOP! STOP! STOP! IT'S BEHIND YOU!!", Calem yelled and Gyarados turned around.

"Energy Ball!!"

The attack hit Gyarados straight into its face and the large Pokemon began to wobble due to the sheer force of the attack.

"Don't give up! Dragon Pulse!!"

"Petal Blizzard!!"

For the first time in this match, Meganium had taken damage. But Calem and his team had a FAR way to go, as Meganium was still ready to rage...strong and adamant as ever.

"Petal Blizzard, again!!"

"Dragon Pulse!!"

"Hit it back to it with Vine Whip!!"

"Flamethrower!!"

"Synthesis!! Protect yourself!!"

Inferno dealt the required damage this time, and Meganium was visibly wounded.

"Don't give up, girl! Let's show it our true strength. Get close with Take Down and use Solar Beam!!"

Gyarados had taken too much of a beating from the Johto native and collapsed. From Calem's side, Ashlyn seemed to curse him through her sign language and Meganium was hopping and skipping in joy, suddenly grand and effective, forgetting about her tiredness and wounds.

"You were brilliant, girl! Wanna go another round?", Ash asked her rubbing his nose with her face and she nodded her head wagging her Vine Whips in joy.

"Return, Gyarados! Magcargo, come out!"

"Meganium, Synthesis!!"

"Lava Plume!!"

"Hang in there, girl! Use Petal Blizzard!!"

"Light them on fire with Flamethrower and send it back to her!"

Meganium took the flaming petals head on and collapsed. She had fought bravely, and had given him a nearly unassailable lead.

"You were brilliant, okay? Take a good rest. I'll see you after we win", he told Meganium and brought her back into her Pokeball.

"Serperior, I choose YOU!!"

"You're a bigger idiot than I thought you'd be, Ketchum! Magcargo, use Ember!!"

"Dodge it by Hypnotic Swirl, and use Leech Seed!!"

Serperior boosted forward and swirled around the fires, and shot out the Leech Seed even before Magcargo could take a second to recover.

"NO! MAGCARGO!! Use Lava Plume on yourself! Burn the seed!!", Calem yelled and I had absolutely NO clue about Calem's plan. Personally, it seemed REALLY stupid.

Magcargo did what it was told and collapsed due to the doubled action of the Leech Seed and the Lava Plume.

"What in the world was that?", Ash asked Calem scrunching his eyebrows and Serperior tilted her head curling around Ash. Then, he began to stroke her cheeks causing the Unovan native to coo in pleasure but Ash was still skeptical of Calem.

"H...H...How?", Calem stuttered and Ash rolled his eyes.

"Look! Get your head into the battle! I've just lost ONE Pokemon while you've lost 3. Two of them fought well, but Magcargo was an unnecessary sacrifice!", he told him and Calem began to grit his teeth.

"I don't need anyone's advice, Ketchum! ESPECIALLY yours!! Froslass, come out!!"

"Fine by me! Serperior, stand by for battle!"

"Use Icy Wind!!"

"Harden!!"

"Don't give up! Use Astonish!!"

"When she comes near you, use Leaf Blade!!"

Froslass was smacked away the second she appeared next to Serperior and the royal Unovan glared at her downed opponent who was still dizzy after that monstrous hit.

"Use Leaf Tornado!! Don't let it get up!"

"Send it back with Blizzard!!"

"Hit them back with Iron Tail!!"

This TRIPLED the impact of the attack as the softened leaves were now HARDENED, and at that unimaginable speed, Froslass was sent packing back and Calem was down to a paltry amount of two Pokemon while Ash had five remaining.

Suddenly, Ashlyn came towards Calem and slapped him as hard as she could. I saw Ash's expression harden, while Serperior stood in front of Ash protectively, and rattled her tail towards Ashlyn as a warning.

She motioned something and pointed Calem to get out of the battle zone. Then, she walked towards the battle zone and glared harder at Ash.

Ash's POV:

"I...I forfeit this match", Calem mumbled holding his cheek and Ashlyn nodded her head pointing her chin towards his seat.

"On the battlefield, we meet at last....sister", I greeted her and she just smirked.

"When I said that I was going to kill you, I meant it, little brother! From the bottom of my heart, I meant it. But first, I'm going to start with your Pokemon. They'll suffer first, and then, you'll suffer", she motioned with a devious wink to end her statement.

"But I would like to battle a new Pokemon! Not your Serperior..she has taken a decent amount of damage. If you must stand a chance of winning, you must fight me with the best of your Pokemon, little brother", she motioned and I nodded my head.

Then, I turned around to see Raichu cuddling in Serena's embrace and I gave him a wink.

"Raichu, I choose YOU!!"

"Rai Rai!!"

"Typical! Beartic, I choose YOU!!"

"Raichu, start off with Quick Attack!!"

"Block its path with Icicle Crash!!

But I had trained Raichu to dodge such attacks, and he crashed into Beartic with all of his speed sending it scurrying off the ground.

"Keep calm! Use Blizzard!!"

"Counter that with Electro Ball! Slap that to its mouth!!"

"Move out of the way!"

Beartic wasn't fast enough to dodge the attack, and took it head on.

"Your Pokemon is powerful, little brother. But it's going to take WAY more than that hit to bring my Beartic down. Sheer Cold!! Immediately, Beartic!!"

"Keep charging up, Raichu! Use the static electricity to heat yourself. That should put you up for a while, buddy"

"Not good enough! Combine Superpower with Brick Break!!"

Suddenly, before I could even make a move, the fighting type moves dealt a massive amount of damage to Raichu, but being the stubborn and powerful Pokemon he is, he stood up defiantly and lashed his tail towards Beartic.

"That's cute, Ash. Finish that rodent off with Icy Wind and bring it to its knees with Brick Break!!"

"Dodge that with Quick Attack and attack it with Iron Tail heated up with Discharge! When you're done with that, use Hyper Beam!!"

"Carry on with your attack and dodge as per required!!"

Raichu was the victor in this round, and hurt Beartic with the powerful combination.

"Do you think you have won, Ash? If so, you are mistaken! BEARTIC, Superpower!!"

"We're not anything less than you, Ashlyn! Quick Attack!!"

"Catch it!"

Beartic miraculously caught Raichu, coping up with the electric jolts and caught him by the edge of his tail and by his neck. Then he began to show my struggling Raichu to the crowd like a trophy and sent me a condescending look. Raichu was wailing in pain and I couldn't see my oldest friend in such pain.

"Raichu is done battling for the day!", I announced but Ashlyn brought her hand down like a chop.

The next second.....Beartic yelled at the top of its voice........and severed Raichu's tail from his body.
