Dan's pov-
I arrived at Phil's house and swung the door open. I heard crying from a room. I walked around the house and saw a room with the door opened.
I saw Phil from the door way he was on his knees crying. I sighed because I actually felt bad for him, just seeing him cry made me feel a bit upset.
"Phil..." I said softly as I walked in the room. Phil turned around and I saw his red face with his puffy eyes and tears still rolling down his face.
"D-dan...i-if your h-here to kill me
g-get it over w-with..." Phil sniffed as he turned around to not look at me.
I walked up to him and touched his shoulder. Phil looked up at me in shock and I saw that his tear stains dried up.
"D-Dan what a-are you d-doing!? Your here to k-kill me! Get it over with!" Phil said in anger. I sat down next to Phil with a frown then chuckled.
"I-I can't..." I said with a forced smile.
"W-what!?" Phil questioned as he looked at me.
"I can't kill you...I've tried...but I can't..." I muttered. I grabbed Phil's chin and wiped his tears. I let go of his chin and looked at the open window.
"Phil..." I sighed.
"Yes dan?" Phil questioned.
"Have you ever had the feeling you try to much to protect the one person you care about...." I said simply as I felt tears started to form.
"Yes...all the time..." Phil chuckled weakly. I looked back at him in surprise.
"R-Really!?" I asked.
"Yeah...like I tried my best to protect Jack from mark but I failed and...when I saw them hug I almost killed Jack and I care for him as a brother." Phil said as I heard him wanting to cry again.
"Haha...same...I tried my best to protect mark from my father, my dad wants to kill him because he says marks a disgrace...and I'm so hard on mark because I want to push him to be the best demon he could be for he has a chance of surviving...and the reason I but him is because I get out of control..." I said as I felt my face get a bit warm.
"Awwww you do have feelings!" Phil teased me with a small smile.
"S-shut up!" I growled as I felt my face get hot.
"Hahaha! It's ok Dan...your secret pretty safe with me...." Phil said with a gentle smile. Phil hugged me tightly I then said,
"Thank you for understanding..."
I returned the hug then I pushed away and looked at Phil.
"Never tell anyone about this..." I muttered as I blushed.
"Agreed..." Phil said in a whisper.
I stood up and dusted myself off. I looked at Phil then helped him up.
"Well I got to go home..." I sighed knowing I'll miss him a bit.
"Oh, ok...well I gotta start looking for jack..." Phil said with a frown.
Oh shit...jack oh god...ugh should I tell him!? N-no! Being friends with an angel is bad enough Dan! I thought to myself. I held Phil's hand brought to to my face then kissed it gently.
Phil pulled his hand away quickly.
"Hehe...well bye Phil...." I said with a smirk. I waved goodbye to him and he smiled at me then I walked out of Phil's house to go 'home'.

Jack's pov-
I wake up to a loud door slam I'm guessing that's Mark's boss Dan.
"MARK YOU BASTERED WHERE ARE YOU!?" I heard Dan yell.
"I'm here! Sorry dan..." mark said.
"Ugh..." Dan muttered.
I walk out of the room and see mark infront of dan,heh mark is pretty short compared to Dan so I accidentally let a small giggle slip out.
Dan and mark look at me, then Dan looks at mark in anger. Mark walked up to me then whispered,
"I'm sorry so much..." before he grabbed my arm and slapped me.
"Good job mark you gotta show someone discipline...." Dan said then he walked off to his room.
"I'm so sorry Jack! I'm truly sorry!" Mark said in a loud whisper.
"I-It's ok..." I responded as I started to rub my cheek. He grabbed my chin and put my face near his then he kissed my cheek gently. I madly blushed as mark kissed me....I bet he just kissed me cuz he felt bad, he didn't mean anything by the kiss.
I pulled away then mark chuckled.
I sat on marks bed then sighed.
"Aww you look so cute when you blush!" Mark said and my face got hotter then I saw Dan in the door way.
"M-mark d-" I said before mark moved some of my hair out of my face.
"Mark da-" I muttered before mark cut me off again.
"Have I ever told you how pretty you are because your just beautiful...." mark said as he held my hand I wanted to tell him about Dan but the words didn't come out, but otherwise I blushed as mark complimented me.
"Mark can I say something please?" I asked.
"If course anything..." mark said with a smile. I pointed to the door way then choked out,
"D-Dan..."
Mark looked in the direction I was pointing in to see an upset demon.
Mark stumbled back in fear then he walked up to Dan and said,
"D-dan I'm so fucking sorry! I-"
"I don't care mark, Jack is out of here...." Dan hissed.
Mark punched Dan in anger.
"Mark you idiot!" Dan growled in anger. Dan grabbed mark by his shirt collar and slammed him on the floor.
I stayed put in fear as I started shaking violently. Dan walked up to me with black blood leaking from his mouth. He forcefully grabbed my wrist squeezing it.
"L-let g-go of me!" I cried out in pain.
"Nope..." Dan muttered. He snapped his fingers then before I knew it I was at the front door of mine and Phil's house.
"W-what?!" I said in pain and confusion. Dan let go of my wrist and then knocked on the door. The door opened then I saw Phil's face.
"JACK!" Phil yell out happily the he hugged me tightly. I felt tears of joy land on my shirt.
"D-Dan you found him! Thank you this means the world to me!" Phil exclaimed in joy. Phil let go of me and told me to go inside and not do anything stupid. I nodded then walked to my room then laid on my bed.

Phil's pov-
"Dan I can't say thank you enough! This just means so much to me where did you find him!?" I said happily.
"No problem phil, but where I found him doesn't really matter..." Dan responded as I saw him blush a bit.
"Yeah it doesn't matter all that matters is that you found him!" I yelled in pure joy. Dan walked up to me then gently hugged me. I was in shock.
I returned the hug as I felt my face heat up. I wiggled a bit then Dan gasped then let me go.
"Heh...too long of a hug?" Dan asked nervously as he rubbed the back of his head.
I nodded blushing a bit more.
"Well just one more thing before I go..." Dan said as his face grew the darkest red I have ever seen.
"What is i-" I said before Dan kissed me. My eyes widened as I felt my face get really hot. I then heared a small snap. I almost fell on my face when Dan teleported back to his home.
I walked inside and sat on the couch.
Jack walked into the room and saw me.
"What happened to you?" Jack asked.
"Stuff..." I muttered. Jack raised and eyebrow then he shrugged it off and went back to his room awkwardly.
I sighed at what happened then I palmed my face.
Oh geez...I'm So dead if my dad finds out about this... I thought to myself in worry.

Dan's pov-
I slammed the door to my room then walked to the corner and put my back against the wall. I slid down the wall in embarrassment and shame.
"Ugh...why did I do that!?" I muttered to myself in anger.
"Stupid, stupid, stupid..." I muttered to myself as I banged my head against the wall. I saw brought my knees to myself chest and held them close to me. I then hung my head down and looked at my feet and cussing myself off like a crazy person.

Mark's pov-
I got up slowly and looked at my bed...jack was gone. I sighed then walked to Dan's room. I quietly opened the door then I saw Dan in the corner mumbling to himself. I shut the door then said,
"Umm Dan?" He sat up straight quickly and then stood up and dusted himself off.
"Y-Yes mark?" Dan questioned.
"Are uh you o-"
"I'M PERFECTLY FINE THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Ahem...I mean I'm good and uh you should go rest...yeah rest, hehe..." Dan said.
He's going crazy... I thought then I slowly backed out of the room.
I walked to my room and laid on the bed. I looked outside the window and saw it was getting dark outside. I sighed then slowly began to fall asleep.
