Ayaka: My Passionate Idol Activities! Rise! My Aikatsu Starts Now!

"SakuRock no Sugoi!" I exclaimed as me and the girls were watching through the hologram.

"I just wish Elaine was here to see this." Chiyo said.

"Why? Where is Elaine? And Heidi's not here, too." Kirei noticed.

"Both of them are in separate projects for Rhapsody. Elaine's in an interview shoot. Heidi's in Harajuku for a modeling stint for Dolly Devil." Aisu explained.

"Say, since all of us has a unit to participate, only Aya and Aisu don't have a unit." Kirei noticed.

"Elaine did tell me this." Kali recalled. "That she would be ecstatic to see Aya and Seiza to be in a unit. Seeing their friendship, they'd be the perfect match." She narrated.

~Meanwhile~

"8 of our Potential Students have joined the Unit Cup, Academy Mother." Johnny-sensei said.

"Well, something more brilliant is to be expected for the remaining people. I'm sure they will guarantee success." Headmistress Orihime said as she looked through a hologrammed picture.

*Ring Ring!*

"Oh, a message." I exclaimed.

"I got one too." Aisu added.

The message was from Suzukawa-sensei.

It read:

Girls,
You're bound to form a unit of your own. Make sure to think of a unit name and find a way to promote it till the show the day after tomorrow.

"Yatta! Suzukawa-sensei wants us to participate too!" I exclaimed.

"And I have an idea..." Aisu grinned.

"So you're saying that we're going to have our other stage performances in different cute brands instead of the one we're using?" I asked.

"That's right. That way, we can practice how we wear each other's brands." She winked.

"Yay! I'm up for it!" I gave a thumbs-up.

First thing we wanted to do before we left for work was head to the respective Top Designers.

Aisu went to Lisa and Elena Hiragi's greenhouse to ask for a coord to use for her Reality Show live later after the live shoot.

"Ano... Green Grass-san?" Aisu called.

"Oh, you're definitely from Starlight Academy, what can we do for you?" Lisa asked.

"My name is Seiza Kagayaku, I'm a friend of Ayaka Miyoko. And we decided that since we're forming a duo unit for the Unit Cup, We would switch brands for the day. And I have a Live after my Reality Show, so may I ask for an Aurora Fantasy Dress? I know Ayaka-chan would be more deserving of a dress from this brand, but please heed my request!" Aisu bowed.

"I see. You're getting to know each other better? Well then."

Elena uncloaked the glass case.

"It's just but temporary that you will be using this dress, and this dress was actually meant to be under Ayaka's possesion, but by all means I should hand them to you for now. But after using it, please tell Ayaka that we made this coord remake for her future use." She explained as she revealed the Blooming Coord.

Lisa pressed the remote button, and in an instant, the cards came out of the machine.

"Arigato guzaimasu!" Aisu bowed.

As for me, it was really hard to approach the former apprentice of the Master of Beauty. An apprentice of hers like Tsubasa Sena.

"Sena-san?" I knocked on the door.

I looked on his window, seeing that he wasn't home.

"I guess I'll go wa---"

"Who's there?"

"Ah!" I exclaimed, taken aback. I saw Tsubasa Sena, eating a popsicle.

"Ohayo guzaimasu, Sena-san!" I bowed.

"Hold on. I... Think I recognize you..."

(Flashback..."

As a means to apologize, how about we teach you to dance for your friend's ball, with Sena-san as a test partner? I've known classic dancing from childhood, and I've also taught Aisu-chan some steps while training, so that could be something we could do to make it up for what we've done!"

(Flashback end)

"You're, Ayaka Miyoko, Kagayaku's friend, right?" He asked.

"Th-That's right!" I answered.

We headed inside.

"So, what exaxtly brings you here to my place?" He asked.

"You see, Aisu and I are forming a unit for the Unit Cup. And so she decided that maybe for the day we could switch brands for our activities for later. I also have a Live show coming up for me, so..."

"May I please have a Dreamy Crown Dress?" I bowed.

He looked me in the eyes. "You ask this to me when I don't see much deserve in you for Dreamy Crown?" He raised an eyebrow.

"I know Aisu and Akari-senpai are much more worthy to wear Dreamy Crown Dresses than me, but please, even though you may see that my best isn't as good as your two approved idols, I'll still give what kind of performance and audience appeal I can showcase, especially on the Unit Cup!" I told him.

"I see you're like your friend. But it doesn't change the fact that I would consider you well enough to be alongside Oozora and Kagayaku..."

I lowered my head sadly in understanding.

"But even so, I'll give you a dress."

I looked back up. "Really?" I said.

"I'm serious. But if you flunk, I would very much regret handing it over to you." He said sternly.

I smiled in promise.

He uncloaked the glass case.

"The Pink Manners Coord. Think of this as if you're borrowing a set of cards from Seiza's use. In the end, it still belongs to her." He told me.

"Hai." I replied.

In a switch of a remote, the coord generated to cards and came out the machine.

"Arigato guzaimasu, Sena-san. And I'll keep my word, like how Aisu-chan does." I said.

I headed off to Starlight Academy.

First to happen was Aisu's reality show.

What happened during the reality show was that she was on location in Harajuku, Japan's fashion capital, to feature the many wonderful fashions to display.

Then it was time for her after-live.

She headed to the Fitting Room.

"After this, I'd have to give it to Ayaka-chan, its rightful owner. But while I'm using it, I'll give out my own Dreamy Sparkle!" She thought as she looked at the cards.

She came to input her cards

It was then my turn to perform among us two.

As I stood before the Fitting Room, I stared at the Cards given to me.

"I made a promise to Sena-san, to not disappoint him, to not make him regret to make me use a Dress from Dreamy Crown."

"Here I go!"

I approached the Fitting Room, and put in my cards.

After our shows, Aisu and I set off to practice at night.

We also bounced on the trampoline to practice our special appeal.

~That Night~

"Hey, Aya-chan!" Aisu called my attention as we were holding a meeting to ourselves.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I thought of a theme for our team. But not the Unit Name yet. But, how about we go for a Story? Thumbelina? Good timing too, Dreamy Crown has the Thumbelina Bouquet Coord and Aurora Fantasy has the Flower Prince Coord!"

"E-Eh? P-Prince?" I stuttered.

"Yeah!" Aisu said.

"I don't seem to be comfortable... Though I like your idea." I said.

"Oh yeah, from what I saw in you, you're not used to playing roles that are kinda masculine." Aisu shrugged.

"Just... Give me time." I went out of the room.

There I sat on a bench near the dorm.

"How can I cope up with a role like that?" I said to myself.

"Konbanwa, Ayaka-chan."

I looked up to see...

"Sakura Kitaoji-senpai! Konbanwa desu." I bowed.

She giggled. "No need to be so formal around me. But you know, I couldn't help but notice you talking to yourself here." She began as she sat down.

"I just don't know if I could confidently wear the Flower Prince Coord of Aurora Fantasy." I said.

"You know, I wore the coord once, but I learned to love it, because I knew from the start, that in my mindset, if I wore this coord, I would win the Starlight Queen Cup. And I did, with the help of my passion and perseverance, too." She told me.

"Sometimes you have to change your image. It wouldn't hurt, and it'll only be temporary." Sakura gave a closed-eyed smile.

It took me only a short moment to understand everything.

"Thank you, Sakura-senpai. For really helping me." I said.

"You're always welcome, Ayaka-chan. Have a good rest tonight." She waved to me goodbye as we went our separate ways.

The rest of the night Aisu and I decided to stay up more to discuss our unit name.

"We want our unit name to be unique. Something recognizable that'll keep us straight to the top!" Aisu said.

"Straight... Straight means north, and we want our unit to shine..." I summed up everything our name would have.

"Borealis!"

"Uwaah~! That sounds like a perfect unit name!" Aisu said.

"What lights our way, to guide us to our Dreams?"

We joined hands.

"Borealis!"

We laughed all the way.

~Day of Debut~

Before everything started, I wanted to make myself realistic for the role. So I tied my hair in a messy bun to kind of look masculine.

I came in the dressing room.

"A-Aisu-chan... How do I look?" I asked, stuttering.

"A pretty prince!" Aisu winked.

There was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it!" I offered.

I got the door, and outside I saw...

"Green Grass-san! Sena-san!"

"We've come to hand over these." Elena began.

On the Green Grass Twins' hands, there were the cards of the Flower Prince Coord.

"Thank you so much, Green Grass-san!" I bowed.

"It's always a pleasure working with you." Lisa said.

"And, Kagayaku, a Flower Prince isn't complete without the main heroine."

"The Thumbelina Bouquet Coord."

"But... I thought these were Akari-senpai's cards?" Aisu asked.

"I made a duplicate. So this is yours." He made sure as he handed the cards to Aisu.

"Arigato guzaimasu!" Aisu bowed.

Soon, the designers took their leave.

"Now we're ready!"

We joined hands again.

"What lights our way to guide us to our Dreams?" I led the chant.

"Borealis!"

We headed to the fitting room and put in our cards.

We wore our coord pieces one by one. And as we finished, we posed by posing back-to back.

In the audience, our respective desigbers were watching, impressed of our debut.

Backstage, we came to hand over the last set of cards to the owner.

"Huh?" We all wondered, confused at how the different designers asked for the same thing, to return the brand cards to the user.

"Sena-san told me that this Pink Manners Coord would be yours. So I'm handing it back." I said.

"While Green Grass-san told me that the Blooming Coord is yours to use now." Aisu said.

"Well, the switch is finished. Good job to us on the debut." I said as we traded back cards.

We decided to recite our chant again.

"What lights out way, to guide us to our dreams?"

"Borealis!"

It felt so great.

Aisu: At the same time, I'll be doing a feature of it in GlitteReality!

Ayaka: First up to compete will be Rhapsody!

Heidi: We're sure to give the audience a kickstart! It's a rumble in the jungle!

Elaine: I think I know what you're thinking.

Shizuka: How will their performance turn out?

Ayaka: Harajuku is a very busy place. They've got to know more about their brand if they want an advantage.
