After clearing out the house we finally settled in to rest for a while.

The girls right now are taking a bath and Takashi, Hirano, and I are trying to get this damn locker open!

Speaking of the girls I can hear them giggling downstairs.

Takashi: Sounds like they're having fun.

Hirano: You want to go have a peek? You know we're supposed to right?

(Y/N): I'd rather live thank you. Anyway, I hope all this work is worth it.

Hirano: It will be I'm sure of it. I mean we found the ammunition, so there has to be something in here.

Takashi: Oh well, it doesn't matter. Let's do it!

The three of us took hold of the crowbar wedged into the locker door.

Takashi: One.

Hirano: Two.

(Y/N): Three!

With one hard push, we managed to get the locker open but we fell to the floor.

We groan as we sat up.

(Y/N): Well at least we got it open.

We all looked into the locker and low and behold we found weapons.

Takashi: (smiles) Hello!

I whistled at the sight of all the weapons.

Hirano literally jumped to his feet with a crazed smile on his face.

Hirano: I knew it!

(Y/N): Well... at least this woman was prepared.

While Hirano was geeking out over the weapons, my focus went to a black and blue leather jacket hanging on the locker door.

I take off my school jacket and put on the leather jacket.

(Y/N): (smiles) Perfect fit.

I sat with the guys and we began loading the guns.

(Y/N): So I got to ask Hirano. Where'd you learn how to shoot a gun?

Hirano: Well you see I took a trip to America one summer and I was trained by this instructor who used to work for a private military company, Black Water, for a month. He's an ex-captain of Delta Force.

(Y/N): So we have a gun-totting nerd, a guy with bat and relationship issues, a calm, beautiful but deadly woman with a wooden sword, a girl with a spear and a bitchy attitude, and a new guy with a sword as our fighters? Yeah, I think we'll do just fine in this apocalypse.

We all laughed until Takashi asked me a question.

Takashi: What about you?

(Y/N): Huh?

Takashi: Where'd you learn to use a sword?

Hirano: Yeah, I want to know too.

I look down and an image flashed in my head.

(A/N): Replace Raiden with you.

(Y/N): I'd rather not talk about it.

They wanted to say something but they decided to drop the subject.

(Y/N): Anyway, none of these weapons are legal here in Japan are they?

Hirano: It's legal to purchase the guns and parts. But it is illegal if you put them together this way. Whoever lives here definitely knows what they're doing.

(Y/N): Makes sense, Ms. Shizuka did say her roommate used to be in the military.

Takashi: So you can get away with anything as long as you're a cop.

(Y/N): Pretty much.

Takashi goes out to the balcony while Hirano and I continue to load up the guns.

We then here the girls still giggling downstairs.

Hirano: (deadpan) They should probably keep down in there.

(Y/N): (smiles) Just leave them be. They needed a chance to unwind for a while especially after what happened the past few days.

Takashi: Besides, I don't think those things are hearing the girls right now.

I turn to see Takashi looking out into the distance with a pair of binoculars.

(Y/N): What do you see?

Takashi: A blockade at the bridge. It's going to be a slaughter.

I sigh and Takashi comes back inside and sits with us.

(Y/N): Let's give the girls a break for a while but by the next hour, we're leaving.

Hirano: No way, (Y/N)! If we leave now they could attack us in the dark.

(Y/N): They could attack us at any part of the day Hirano! Right now everyone is panicking because of this pandemic. And that panic is just gonna make everything worse. As far as I'm concerned those things out there don't stay in one place for long so we need to keep ourselves farther away from them as possible and if we don't... none of us are gonna survive all this.

They understood what I said and nodded.

Their eyes then widened in fear when they looked behind me.

(Y/N): What's wrong?

My question was answered when I felt a pair of arms wrapped around me.

It was Ms. Shizuka and she was wearing nothing but a towel around her body.

(Y/N): (thoughts) Not again!

I turn to see her giggling with a blush on her face.

(Y/N): (thoughts) How the fuck is she drunk!!!

She yelled in excitement and I'm pretty sure I can hear Takashi and Hirano gasping in shock.

Shizuka: (giggles) Don't be like that. It's just a little kiss.~

She held me tighter which made me blush even more.

She then turned to Hirano with a seductive smile.

Shizuka: Kohta, darling.~

Hirano blushes and smiles nervously.

Hirano: Me, darling?!

Shizuka crawled over to Hirano still having a seductive smile on her face.

Shizuka: You've been such a good boy Kohta. I think you deserve a prize.~

She then kissed Hirano on his left cheek, making his whole face turn red like a tomato and have a massive nosebleed.

He then fainted.

Shizuka sat up licking her lips.

(Y/N): Umm, maybe you should go downstairs and lay down?

Shizuka: No! I'm going to stay right here and you're not going to make me move!

She then began swaying tiredly.

Shizuka: I feel tired all of a sudden.

She then leaned her head on my chest.

(Y/N): Are you kidding me?!

Takashi and I then both see Hirano stumble to the balcony.

(Y/N): Hirano? Hey, buddy are you alright?

He turns to us with a dumb look on his face.

Hirano: (dumbly) I like turtles.

He then went out into the balcony.

I turned to Takashi.

(Y/N): You should probably go check on him.

Takashi: What about you?

I look down to see Shizuka sleeping on my chest.

(Y/N): (sweatdrop) I'll get her downstairs.

He nodded and went outside with Hirano.

I carried Shizuka on my back and made my way out of the room.

All of a sudden she began to fall backward.

I quickly grabbed her but I accidentally grabbed her ass.

Shizuka: (moans) You're grabbing my butt! You're so naughty (Y/N).~

(Y/N): (sighs) Can I catch a break?

I made my way downstairs but I was stopped by Rei who was wearing a tight pink tank top and white underwear.

She also had a blush on her face signifying that she's drunk as well.

(Y/N): (thoughts) Fuck not her too!!!

Rei: (smirks) Am I interrupting anything?

(Y/N): Nope, you're not interrupting anything.

She then walked up the stairs and got too close to my face.

Rei: (glares) Hmm?!

I blush due to her being so close to my face.

Then she had a very silly look on her face.

Rei: Heeeyyy, you look really good in threes!

....

(Y/N): Heh?

She giggled.

Rei: All of a sudden there's a bunch of you!

She then fell backward landing on her ass.

(Y/N): You okay?

Rei: (tiredly) Yeah, I guess I'm just exhausted. I can't believe it's only been one day.

She puts her hands on her face and began to sob.

Rei: I can't get a hold of my mom or dad and... Hisashi is dead too.

I sighed as she continued to sob into her hands.

I walk up to her and I hold Shizuka with one hand as I pet Rei's head with the other causing her to look up at me with tears in her eyes.

(Y/N): I know you're still hurting, but it'll get better. Maybe not in the way we want it to be considering what's going on all over the world but what I'm trying is you won't stay sad forever. Eventually, you'll move on to someone who will make you happy just like Hisashi did. And don't worry about your parents I'm sure they're okay.

I took my hand off her head and held Shizuka with hands and made my way downstairs.

Rei: Hey (Y/N)?

I stop and turn towards Rei who had a genuine non-drunk smile on her face.

Rei: Thanks.

I smiled.

(Y/N): No problem.

I then went downstairs and went into the living room.

As I stepped into the living room,  I see several empty beer cans on the table.

(Y/N): (thoughts) That explains a lot.

I gently place Shizuka on the ground and put a blanket over her.

I look up to see Saya sleeping on the couch in front of me.

I grab another blanket and place it over her.

She smiled and snuggled into the blanket.

I turn to see Naomi on the other couch so I covered her with another blanket and she too snuggled into it.

Saeko: You really are a caring person.

I turn to see Saeko cooking food in the kitchen.

She had her hair up in a ponytail and she was wearing nothing but her panties and an apron.

I blush and try to focus on her face and nothing else.

Saeko noticed my flustered face.

Saeko: Sorry, but mine and the girl's clothes are in the wash and this was the only thing I can find.

(Y/N): T-That's understandable.

She noticed the jacket I was wearing.

Saeko: I like your jacket.

(Y/N): O-Oh, t-thanks. I-I just thought I'd wear something besides the uniform.

She nodded in agreement.

There was an awkward silence between us until she broke it.

Saeko: M-Midnight snack will be ready soon. And tomorrow's lunch too.

(Y/N): R-Right I'll let you get to it.

I turn to leave the kitchen.

Saeko: Hey (Y/N)?

I turn to Saeko.

Saeko: Why do you stick around? I mean not that I don't want you-I mean WE don't want you sticking around. But you had the chance to leave and it's obvious that you know how to handle yourself on your own so why stay with us?

I smiled.

(Y/N): I don't know I guess I was just tired of being alone for once.

I exit out of the living room and head back upstairs.

Saeko's POV

I watched (Y/N) leave the living room.

I went back to cooking the food with (Y/N) still on my mind.

Saeko: (thoughts) I don't know why but there's something about him that makes me yearn for him. It's not just his caring personality but also something... dangerous... something...

I licked my lips.

Saeko: (thoughts)... Psychotic.

Your POV

As I walk up the stairs walk back upstairs and back into the room with the rest of the guys.

Takashi and Hirano are outside on the balcony with Rei alongside them.

Takashi was looking out into the distance with a pair of binoculars.

(Y/N): What's going on?

He turns towards me and hands me the binoculars.

Takashi: You might want to see for yourself.

I look through the binoculars and I was surprised to see a little girl crying over a dead middle-aged man who I assume is her father with a dog at her side barking at the undead that is starting to surround them.

I put down the binoculars and turned to Takashi and Hirano.

(Y/N): Hirano clear out any zombie that tries to get near that girl! Takashi get everyone up and moving we're leaving!

They nod and they got to work.

Hirano began firing at the zombies that try to get near the girl and Takashi runs downstairs to wake the others.

Rei turns to me.

Rei: What are you going to do?

I smiled sheepishly.

(Y/N): Something stupid.

We go downstairs and I made sure to grab my katana and we head out into the driveway where Saeko and Takashi were waiting for us.

Saeko turned towards me.

Saeko: Takashi already filled me in. We'll get everyone moving as fast as we can.

I nod and I hop onto the motorcycle and turn on the ignition making it roar to life.

Takashi: Here.

He hands me his pistol.

I take the gun and holster it.

(Y/N): Thanks, I probably won't need it anyway.

Saeko and Rei took off the barricade and prepare to open the gate.

But before they opened the gate Saeko turned to me with a worried look on her face.

Saeko: Be careful out there (Y/N).

I smirk.

(Y/N): You be careful.

She smiled and she and Rei open the gate allowing me to zoom past them and into the undead horde.

(Y/N): (thoughts) Hold on little girl, I'm coming!
