Two Months Later

Desmond's POV

"Hey Desmond! You ready for another round in the ol' Animus?" Lucy asks. I grin and walk towards the machine, looking at my picture from Leonardo again. I love seeing my ancestors every day.

"Yep. Let's do this!" I say.

I lie down and I prepare to be teleported.

I feel myself fading, but it doesn't seem right.

"Lucy, is everything alright?" I ask, my voice sounding robotic.

"No... Rebecca! Shaun!" Lucy yells, pressing buttons frantically. They run in and begin helping, trying to stop the machine.

"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" I yell.

"Desmond!" Lucy calls.

With that, I fade into nothingness.
