Desmond's POV

"You need to be really careful going back to school.  Nobody can know it was you guys who killed five people," Rebecca says. 

"I know... It's not like I'm going to walk around with a sign on my back that says, 'I killed five people!" I reply. 

"Desmond, I'm serious."

"I know, I know.  How are they not going to figure out it was us?"

"They won't Desmond.  And besides, if some female officer asks if you know anything, just get one of the assassins with some attractive accent to say you don't know anything!"

"Rebecca..."

"Fine.  You figure it out!"

"See you after school, Rebecca."

"Desmond, are you ready to go?" Edward asks. 

"Yeah, yeah.  Let's go," I say.

We drive to school and when we arrive, we see police tape over the math room door and police officers everywhere. 

"What are you kids doing here?" asks a female police officer. 

Of course she's a girl.

"We thought there was school today," Ezio says. 

"Um... no.  There isn't.  You get a free day off," she replies.  She looks slightly taken aback by his accent. 

"That's good," Edward says. 

"Thank you for your help," Altaïr says.  

"Goodbye," Connor says. 

We leave the officer standing there, still looking a bit shocked at their accents. 

Yeah, I guess it is pretty unusual for New York.

We get back to the office. 

"Rebecca, you told us there was school today," I say, slightly annoyed.

"Isn't there?" she asks innocently. 

"We killed five people, of course there isn't school the next day!" I say.  Rebecca chuckles. 

"Oh well!  Have fun on your day off!"
