Ezio's POV

"I am not going in there," Altaïr says as he stares at the clear water of the swimming pool.

"Yes you are," Desmond says. We're all wearing swim trunks and standing on the pool side. Edward is already swimming around with Malik.

"Come on, it's not that bad!" he says, dipping underwater.

"You're right, Edward! It's not that bad, it's horrible!" Altaïr says sarcastically.

"Come on, you can do it! You even have a floatation device!" I say. Altaïr looks at the tube around his middle and then back at me.

"Shut up, Ezio."

I jump into the water and come up for air. Altaïr looks at me and crosses his arms.

"Nope. Not going in the water."

Connor sighs and shoves Altaïr from behind, causing him to fall into the water. Desmond tries not to laugh and Altaïr comes up to the surface looking scared.

"I am in the water. I am in the water," he repeats, a look of panic on his face.

"Come on, man! You get used to it!" Connor laughs, jumping into the pool.

"I'm going to kill you," Altaïr growls. Connor swims away while Altaïr tries to catch him from where he's floating.

"I'm coming in!" Leonardo yells, jumping in.

"Good one, Leo!" I chuckle.

"Altaïr, I have one arm and I can swim better than you," Malik says.

"Shut up, Malik," Altaïr responds.

"Novice."

"Guys, calm down. He's learning!" Desmond chuckles. He gets in the pool and swims up to Altaïr.

"All you have to do is kick your legs and move your arms! It's that simple!" Desmond says.

"This floatation device is keeping me alive. There is no way I'm leaving it," Altaïr responds.

"Remember, one arm!" Malik says from across the pool.

Altaïr sighs and crosses his arms.

"Bro, just try to swim!" I say.

"I have to reason to," Altaïr says.

We're lucky to have gotten here to this pool on a relatively empty day (there's only one old couple here), because it would have been pretty embarrassing if people had seen Altaïr, an assassin, like this.

After a bit of swimming around and trying to get Altaïr to swim, we go back to the office building and eat some food people in this age call hamburgers.

This day has been strange.
