Through his shock, he barely registered Seastar saying "Promisebreaker, dear, will you give us a moment? I need to speak with my dear brother and his girlfriend." She said this with a sneer, and her eyes were trained on Coral.

"Why didn't you want meto go to the Sky Kingdom to free Avalanche? You've never met her. Why do you care?"

"I was in love with Promisebreaker. He didn't love me. He loved Avalanche. But now she's gone. Now I've finally convinced him to love me instead. She can't come back, or it'll be ruined. She has to stay where she is." He had never guessed that his perfect sister would have to work so hard for someone to love her. But that was the least of his problems.

"How did you even know him? You were always there with our brothers and sisters."

"You escaped by shutting out reality. I escaped by finding a different one. I only left for a little while at a time, to watch Promisebreaker. The rest of you never noticed. You were absorbed in your solitude. Our parents in their love. And our siblings in their silly little games. I didn't mean to hurt you by running away. But this time someone noticed. On the upside, at least I finally got him to notice me."

"You didn't mean to hurt me, did you? Well, you didn't just hurt me. You broke me. And I didn't get fixed until I met coral. Why are you so against our love? If you think you deserve your Nightwing, shouldn't others get a chance at love, too? You're jealous, Seastar. You don't like that we love each other, but your love is built on deception. But you broke me. And your trying to do it again.  Can you stop trying to be the perfect one all the time, Seastar? Because it's impossible, and trust me, I've tried as much as you have. You just succeeded a lot more than I did." Seastar was about to say something when Coral burst in.

"You think you had it bad? You're not he only ones. Mine wasn't easy either."

"You're a princess!" Seastar sneered.

"A animus princess! Someone was always watching me, and if I made one wrong move, someone could die. I could lose my soul. Every minute of the day. 'You should do this, Coral. Your mother could do this by the time she was your age' All the time! I was going mad, and not just from the magic."

"Face it, you've all got it bad." Ripcurrent started. He hadn't seen Promisebreaker enter the room.

"Can you just accept your differences. And Seastar, I really do love you. Avalanche... She has a dragonet. She loves someone else. You... You love me. And you're amazing." Seastar looked so happy, Ripcurrent stopped arguing.

Suddenly, a farmiliar scream pierced the air. Seastar and Ripcurrent stared at each other.

"Where are Riptide and Tsunami?" Ripcurrent said in a low voice.

"I thought they were with you!" Said Seastar.

"No, they left to find you." Seastar paled.

"You don't think..."

"I do." Said Ripcurrent.

"We've got to find them." Said Seastar, and the two raced out of the hut, Promisebreaker and Coral hot on their heels.
