*~Three~*

Me and Fionna were talking about how weird this whole situation was when Brandon shushed us.
"Why?" I asked irritably.
"Someone's coming!" he hissed.
Fionna clamped her black paw over my mouth and dragged me over to the bed. She threw me on it and put a blanket over me.
I heard her padding back to the corner. I heard the slight creak of the chair beside me, signaling that Brandon had sat down.
"Arms wide open, I stand alone. I'm no hero, and I'm not made of stone. Right or wrong, I can hardly tell! I'm on the wrong side of Heaven... and the righteous side of--"
Brandon's singing was cut off by the sound of a door opening. "Brandon, I heard noises. What was that?" I heard a woman's voice say. She sounded tense, worried...
"Oh, it's just you..." Brandon said with a relieved sigh. He slid the covers off of me, and I immediately rubbed my eyes; the light was bright.
When my eyes adjusted, I saw a woman standing in the doorway. She was thin and looked like she would blow away like a paper bag. The way she stood made it look like she was ready to bolt any second. Her chocolate-colored eyes were big and nervous.
"It's fine, Alice," Brandon said, but Alice didn't seem to be reassured by this.
She had hair that was a deep red in color. It went down to her shoulders, a slight wave at her jawbone. She had a Team Plasma insignia above her heart, signaling her loyalty to the group. She crept in, completely silent. I made a mental note that if she was my enemy, I would be screwed. She's too quiet.
I heard a sigh from the corner. Fionna walked out from her native corner. "This is Alice," Fionna said.
"I got that," I responded.
"Hi..." Alice said, timidly raising her hand.
"Hello," I greeted, sitting up.
"Alice can turn into a Liepard," Brandon said proudly.
Alice demonstrated by turning into the sleek purple Dark-Type.
"That's really cool," I commented, which made Alice smile a small smile.
"And if we find a way to fix the formula, you'll be able to transform into an Umbreon instead of becoming one forever," Brandon explained.
"That would be awesome," I said, imagining the scene inside my head. Transforming into an Umbreon and transforming back. Epic!
"But if we don't fix it, you will be a feral Umbreon forever," Brandon added.
"Way to ruin the moment!" I said sadly.
"What moment?"
"I was imagining being able to turn into a-- Do you smell that?" I asked, my nose twitching.
Brandon sniffed the air. "I don't..."
"Turn into a Vaporeon," Alice offered.
He quickly transformed into the blue quadruped, his hair turning into the white frill surrounding his head. Fins grew out, and as the end of his tail flared out, Brandon's eyes widened in fear. "Someone is coming," he said, transforming back.
I have to admit, it was weird watching him turn back. The white frill slicked back, turning into the original dark blue of his hair. The fins were sucked in, along with the tail. Watching him spring up back into a bipedal was weirder than I had ever thought.
Alice quickly turned into a Liepard as Brandon sat down. The sleek purple cat curled up at Brandon's feet. Fionna covered me again and retreated to the corner, pretending to train like a normal Lucario would.
"Brandon? Is everything all right?" a woman called, a Southern accent in her tone.
"It's fine, Ma!" he responded.
"Are you sure?" The voice grew clearer as the creak of the door opening filled my sensitive ears.
I instinctively curled up and growled slightly, holding my head. "Ow!" I hissed.
"Who's there?" Brandon's mother demanded fiercely. Her kindly voice didn't seem so nice anymore.
