I'm Coming Out In Mittens

Randle visited again and talked to Ringo about bingo. It was the day Ringo was supposed to be released from the hospital.
"So that's what I do when the spinny thing gets stuck!" Ringo was so happy to learn from his new mentor Randle Sears. The exhausted nurse walked in.
"Okay you're being discharged, a few teenage volunteers are going to pick you up in like, oh... I'd say 15 minutes." They said before quickly leaving the room to deal with whatever old man was complaining about back pain to get more Oxytocin.

Shatner walked in with three drinks. He had an ice tea that he had heated in the microwave for Ringo, a cucumber flavored gatorade for himself, and a yahoo (the worst drink ever) for Randle. He handed the drinks to the others. Ringo, who was very excited to have hot tea in America, began drinking his immediately, with a huge smile on his face. Randle also looked overjoyed at the drink he had been given, much to Shatner's disappointment.
"How did you know that yahoo was my favorite!?" Randle asked.
"Just a lucky guess, apparently." Shatner muttered, hating Randle even more.

After a few more minutes of Shatner sitting awkwardly while Ringo and Randle discussed the art of bingo, the teenage volunteers that the exhausted nurse told them about walked in with a wheelchair. After some protest from Ringo about how he didnt need it, and wasn't that old (and never would be), he gave in and sat down.

Once they got downstairs and walked to Shatner's car, Ringo said his goodbyes to Randle. But then Randle said something that caught Ringo off guard.
"There should be a bus coming this way in about 17 minutes, I'm off to wait at that bus stop over there, see you whippersnappers later."
"Wait, Randle, you rode the bus all the way here? Just to see me?"
"Well of course, you're my bingoing buddy."
"Why don't you ride back with us, it's the least we could do, plus it's on the way." Ringo then looked over at Shatner with big, pleading eyes, "That's okay, right Shat?" and we all know Shatner couldn't say no to a look like that.

Randle, Ringo, and Shatner got in the car. They drove in silence until Ringo spoke.
"Look! It's a fair!"
"No, that's a rally." Randle said, with a hint of sadness.
"Well, we should go!" Ringo said way too excitedly, like I said, Ringo knew nothing of American politics. It could be a Trump rally and Ringo would still be content.
"I don't know... I haven't been to one since... nevermind." Randle was getting flashbacks to the time before he was a man, and shuttered at the thought.
"Well if you haven't been to one in a while, we should go! Shat? Can you pull over?"

Shatner didn't want to pull over and spend more time with Randle, but Ringo's voice was enough to persuade him to do anything, including pull over. They got out of the car and made their way to the rally. They realized as they walked closer to the stage, that this was a rally for future president Bernie Sanders, and maybe Randle was finally going to reunite with his long lost brother. They watched the rally, Shatner read a book the entire time which was impressive because no one knew he could write let alone read. Shatner was a bit worried that Ringo was going to be influenced by what he thought were communist ideas. Ringo enjoyed the rally, he had no idea what a 1% was but he was angry that they wouldn't get taxed. At the end of it a security guard told them to follow him, where they met Bernie backstage.

"Jessica!?" Bernie said with enthusiasm.
"It's Randle now."
"Wow I have a brother!"
"Didn't you always have a brother?" Shatner said.
"Well yes... but no."
"You see, Shatner, I'm trans."
"You're a train? I thought you were an American."
Bernie and Randle decided to ignore Shatner and get back to their reunion.
"I haven't seen you since that fundraiser in 1978, you've really changed for the better."
"Thank you, and look at you, soon to be president."
"Yeah, I can't believe we were really identical twins all along."
"And it only took $124,400." Randle joked.
"Well, what are you doing now?"
"Oh I run a bingo place."
They chatted for a bit more before Shatner spoke up.
"Randle, we should go, do you want a ride back or?"
"I think I'll stay with Bernie if that's alright."

Bernie and Randle had lunch together and caught up on everything they missed over the past few decades. They talked about Bernie's rise to the top and how he planned to break up big trusts (like Facebook, Disney, and Amazon) as well as Randle's transition and his bingo business. Randle's hands were cold and so Bernie gave him his iconic mittens. He even let his brother keep the iconic meme mittens.
