Ahhhhhhhhh I decided to dye my hair orange bc Halloween and it's awesome-i had to dye it on my own bc my mom didn't feel like doing it for me and I didn't wanna wait, so that was...... an adventure, lol

I've never done my own hair bc I was scared to, but I didn't actually do too bad. ....after my mom checked it and told me where I missed, lmao

My hair normally seems pretty orange to me after I bleach it, especially since it's still kinda pink from when I dyed it that months ago lol, but like....

This is nothing compared to the actual orange I used lol

I'm actually still waiting on it to be done so I can wash it, this is what it looks like currently

And also while I'm waiting I've been sitting with my grandparents and some doggos so have a picture of all the dogs on the same couch(minus one) ......there's a lot of dogs here

I.... actually love it very much, and I'm surprised. I was nervous while getting it, bc I know before I thought people who dyed their hair green or orange or yellow always like... looked awful with it, but I've started liking it recently for other people and I wanted to try it. Idk lol, it's something new.

Obviously my grandparents didn't have the best reaction to finding out I was dying it orange, and neither did my mom and while it's a little hurtful sometimes when they always tell me how much they hate my hair and how it's short and I can never keep it one color......... I just don't care that much. Like, it upsets me sometimes, but it's my hair so I'm gonna do whatever the hell I want with it. (As I'm writing this my grandma just came in and told me I looked cool so I guess I have at least one person I live with that doesn't mind it lmao-still hurts that my grandpa hates it tho. Like....... my grandpas always seemed so non-judgmental but apparently he hates that I have short hair and it hurts that he thinks that, cause I always thought he'd be the only one who'd actually leave me alone about it, unlike everyone else in my family. Again, fuck what they think-it's my hair and I love it)

I really do think this turned out pretty awesome. I'm super happy with it, which is still surprising but.... I guess that's why it's a good thing to keep trying new things lol. You'll never know what you like until you try it out.

And I'm definitely doing it green soon, which I'm also excited for. I actually already have more colors planned for after that too lol-I've got another red hair dye I wanna try, and another blue color that's different from my last one.

Now, I'm going to get off of here to go work on a new profile picture for myself(it's Halloween related and I'm so excited!!). Thanks for reading and listening to my short rant-I'm trying very very hard to keep working and ignore most of my feelings lately so that I don't end up just breaking down and talking about shit on here or with another person bc I know immediately afterwards I'll feel like shit for actually confiding in someone lmao. So, gonna go get back to work and maybe try and get another chapter of Tally Marks out today or tomorrow.
