"That's not completely true. I'm pretty sure you find my cooking delicious because of having the exact meal on a regular basis" She exclaimed

"It can be the reason too but trust me your cooking is no joke" He said having more as he smiled

Seeing him smiling and all cheerful unknowingly made her smile too as she continued eating.

"Can I have some more?" He asked while his mouth was still full of rice

"Slowly Jimin, or else you'll chock" She chuckled as she served him some more

After they were done he helped her wash the dishes.

"Y/n, you're very good at singing"

He said all of a sudden making her flinch as she didn't notice when she started singing along. It has become a habit of her so it was obvious she just embarrassed herself in front of a mare stranger who has became her friend a few days ago.

"Oh, don't need to joke around. That hurts" She replied in a sarcastic way

"No, I'm serious. Have you ever tried auditioning?" He asks as she can clearly see how serious he was

"Uh...no" She replied looking down at the dishes expressionlessly

Maybe he understood why she is being like this cause the next question he asked made it clear.

"You're not very happy doing the job you're currently employed for, are you?" He asked

She nods "You've got it right. I was never happy" She replied

"Then why are you doing something you don't enjoy?" He asked as he stopped washing dishes and looked at her

"Because of Taehyung" She again replied sarcastically

"Y/n be honest. I'm serious" He said as truly the seriousness is visible on his looks

"Because my family depends on me and I can't just sacrifice their happiness because of my silly dreams" She replied looking at him as the pain in her emotions can be seen

"But what about your happiness? Do they not matter?" He asked as he placed his hand on her shoulder & his gaze softened

"No, they do not. At least not for now..." She replied forcing a smile "Okay I understand you're very good at reading people but let's just finish washing the dishes or are you planning on making me do that all alone?" She said cheerfully trying to ignore the conversation they were having

Jimin might've understood that as he didn't say anything more related to that. After they were done washing the dishes they sat down on the chairs they were sitting on before.

They talked about themselves as they need to know each other properly to work as a team.

From him, she got to know his father is mostly busy. He is always on business trips and meetings. He has no time for his family which she finds very sad.

His mother always stays at home alone which causes her to seek someone's company but unfortunately, Jimin is also mostly busy with the office work,. so he barely gets to spend time with her. 

But he tries his best and when he gets time he takes her to movies as she loves watching movies. She also loves gardening so he brings seeds for her. Those little things make her very happy which makes Jimin's day better.

Staying alone at home is also the reason she keeps on telling Jimin to get married. But Jimin exclaimed he isn't ready yet. He wants to focus on his job for now so that he can provide for all the needs of his future family.

Listening to him what she realized is he loves his mother a lot which is very sweet. And the way he explained about his father might make it seem like he doesn't have a very good bond with him but that's not true as he seems to respect his father a lot.

It felt like Jimin is truly a very nice and down-to-earth type of guy. His only wish is to keep his family happy. He is a nice person and it really shows. She believes she'll never regret meeting him.

During their conversation, he also asked her whether she'd like to meet his mother. She gladly agreed as his mother seems like a sweet person just like him.

But he warned her to not get too close. Though she didn't understand what he meant, she assumed it was because his mother would ask him to marry her.

Well, after he completed his story he showed interest to know hers. She inhaled deeply and commenced.

"I'm a citizen of Busan. My only purpose in coming to Seoul was to get a job with a decent salary. I had to leave my dream of being an idol behind as I started my life here.

 At first often I contacted my parents to make sure their health was in a good state. But as days started passing, each day I also started getting busy.

So the number of me contacting my parents lessened. It came to a point where I almost stopped contacting them and the only thing which I did for them was sending the money they needed.

The hard work I was doing was all for them and yet I was abandoning their feelings like they doesn't matter to me anymore. I had become a human-like robot. A robot who have no feelings. I was just working aimlessly not knowing what I'd gain doing that.

But after getting stuck in this loop, I realized only sending money won't work. I've to have contact with them too so that our bond won't weakened.

My friend circle has always been small. It was always Halsey, her boyfriend, and Toriko. Halsey was the first friend I've ever met and she introduced me to her lovely boyfriend.

There's a secret that Halsey still isn't aware of, which is her boyfriend is soon going to offer her to a marriage proposal. I think he is the only loyal boyfriend I've seen till now. I wish the best for them.

I was always a bit too attached to my father. You can say he is my role model. He aspires me a lot and I wish to be like him. Although I didn't get to act on movies like him, I still wish to try doing that once.

Dad has been sick for quite a while which makes me feel worried for him but I always work hard so that someday he also gets to say 'My daughter is just like me'.

Even though I've left my dreams behind I still haven't given up. I've planned after my father's health gets better I'll try auditioning"

After sharing their stories they discussed what they should try next. After the planning, they watched a movie together as they were bored and there's still time.

They enjoyed their time a lot and when this all came to an end Jimin stood up as it was getting late. He walked towards the doorway as she followed behind. He opened the door to leave but then he turned to her with a smile.

"Y/n, don't give up on your dreams. Your dreams do matter and I promise if you try, you might achieve what you're longing for. There's still time and you're an amazing singer so there should be no problem.

Don't give up. Even if you feel like no one supports you then remember there is one person who'll always wish you to be happy & hopes the best for you"

He said as he left. His words made her heart feel calm. He is right. She shouldn't give up. Even if She is not perfect there's always room for improvement.

She'll do whatever it takes, only if it's for him. She later get fresh and went to bed. She covered herself with the blanket and as usual, stared at the sealing.

"Life has never seemed so beautiful before. It seems I've finally found the ray of light and hope of my life"
