Gauri was sitting in the waiting Lobby of her gynecologist to confirm her suspicion.How could she be pregnant? Like a robot Gauri did as she was told and laid down on the gynecological chair and Dr.Verma soon showed her the baby on screen and that was the Moment it hit her. She was actually pregnant with Omkara's baby. The one Time they had given in God had blessed them with a child, something many people failed to manage. "Is my baby okay? I have had a lot of stress and I don't want that to affect my baby. Gauri said scared and Dr. Verma smiled at her. "Everything looks Great Mrs.Oberoi. The Baby is exactly as big as it should be, everything is where It should be but if you are scared I can give you sick leave for Work and then you can rest for a few days at home.Gauri nodded thankfully. " How far along am I? I didn't even realize I was pregnant.Dr.Verma studied the screen and clicked on a few things while Gauri watched her."By the Looks of it you should be around 12 weeks. The nausea should stop in the coming week but it is normal that throughout the pregnancy you will experience dizzy spells and further Nausea. You should avoid raw fish and meat. My assistant will prepare you a list of Do's and Don'ts. Gauri thanked her, got dressed and then left the doctors' office. She called a Cab and immediately drove Home. Once she reached she sat down finally realizing the fact that she was indeed Pregnant! That she had been pregnant for weeks without even noticing the changes in her Body. But now she felt it, her breasts were more sensitive and the nausea should have been alarming to her.Gauri couldn't help the happy tears that escaped her eyes.She would have a baby, a reason to live , a reason to be happy again.And then it struck her once more- She had to tell him. Only when he saw her tears did he let go. She turned away from him, but he saw a bruise on her neck from his grip. He paled once again but his face stayed emotionless. She smelled his cologne and wanted to cry again when she looked at her face.Her eyeliner and her mascara where smudged all over her face. After washing her face, she took of her Mangalsutra, her earrings and her Wedding ring. She didn't want anything from him, anything that would remind her of their disastrous relationship.Picking up a pen and a Piece of paper she wrote him her Goodbyes. He didn't deserve a Letter but she needed to write down all the things she never said.Her phone rang and she saw that Vikram texted her that he was here.Leaving the Letter on their bed she took her bags and walked downstairs. Vikram walked in and hugged her tight before placing the bag in his car. Gauri smiled at him gratefully and put on the seatbelt. "You sure? He asked once more while slowly driving away from the Mansion. Gauri nodded."He will never be the father my Child deserves. I want my Baby to be born into a happily Family, maybe I will be alone but at least I would be happier than now. Vikram took her hand in his and squeezed it. Gauri smiled and looked out of the Window, when she saw a car following theirs."Vikram... Gauri began but he stopped her. "I know. I saw them when we drove out of your drive way."Who are they? She asked scared; trying not to look back so they wouldn't get suspicious."I thought you know. What if Om hired some Bodyguards? "Gauri shook her head. "Not that I know of. I will call him. Omkara drove to Kaali's Warehouse and tried to digest what had happened between him and Gauri. For the first Time in the 4 years he knew her he was actually scared she might leave him. The Look in her eyes would be something he would never ever forget.It almost was like she had truly given up on him on them and He didn't know what to think of that. How could he keep her safe if she wanted to leave? "Please...Gauri don't go!...Om whispered to himself before he parked his car. Taking a deep breath he got out of his car and entered the Warehouse.Kaali greeted him with a cocky smile and offered him some Brandy."No Thanks."Suit yourself. I bet you are wondering why I called you here? In the Middle of the Night?Omkara looked at him quietly. He hadn't the patient to deal with Kaali, he wanted to get back to Gauri to talk about what she had said before he had left. Maybe It was time for him to tell her the truth, they would completely destroy each other sooner or later."I have a new Job for you. You will have to deliver outside of India from now one. Together with me. You will be my Right Hand Omkara.Looking at him shocked his Phone rang and he saw that Gauri called. He cut her call and then walked over to Kaali. His eyes shot daggers at him and if not alone he would have chocked him. One of his Assistants whispered something into his ears."I will not Kaali. That would put a Target on my Wife's back for good. If any of your Enemies would find out about me being your right hand they would track her down and I swear to god she is the only reason you are still alive.Kaali laughed. "You sure fight a lot for a woman that just left you with her Boss.Omkara paled and took a step back. What did he mean by that?"What are you talking about?"My men are following your wife and she left in a Range Rover together with her Boss Vikram Singh. Looks like your Wife finally gave up Omkara..."You are lying...Om said and walked out. He dialed Gauri's number and she took after the 2nd ring. Her voice was calm; yet he felt something was bothering her."Gauri where are you? He asked; afraid to hear her answer."I told you I would leave...I am done Omkara...I just can't take your behavior anymore. Gauri closed her eyes when she heard him take a sharp breath. He stayed quiet for a while and she knew he tried to control his emotions."Ri...What have you done...All the pain was for nothing...All the Times I had to push you away... His words made her listen more actively. What did he mean by that?
"What do you mean? I don't understand."Gauri they are still following us. "Vikram's voice was faint but his words made Omkara curse."Gauri listen Carefully and don't question me until we see each other...Someone very dangerously is after you. His Men are following you, I need Vikram to take you to the place I will text you okay? He needs to get rid of your followers...We will meet there in an hour alright? Only the concern in his Voice made her listen to his instructions and she filled Vikram in. That was the first time in 2 years that he actually seemed like he cared, like he was scared for her. But why? What did he mean with someone dangerous was after her?Had it to do with him? With his Past or his Secrets?Picking up his pace Vikram drove like a maniac trying his best to get rid of their followers. He knew it was dangerous to ride that recklessly especially with a pregnant Woman beside him but he needed to bring them to safety. Gauri felt like she was going to throw up any minute by the way the car was speeding up, they took a turn and almost crashed a Truck.Seeing that the Truck blocked their follower's way's Vikram changed his route and disappeared into an underground parking lot of a Mall. He waited for 15 minutes and then he asked Gauri to get out."But my Bags? Gauri asked. He shook his head. "Later. I will get you a Taxi alright? They left the Car there and walked up to the Mall pretending to be a normal Couple. He took her Hand in his and they reached the entrance. He looked around and spotted a Taxi.Gauri got in and told the Driver the Address of the place Om hat texted her."Won't you come with me? Gauri kept Vikram from leaving. He placed a kiss on her forehead. She cried and his hand on her face pinched her softly."That is something between Husband and Wife. If anything happens I am close by, I promise Gauri. She nodded and then the Taxi left. Her eyes followed Vikram waiting till she couldn't see him anymore. After what felt like forever they reached and Gauri was already greeted by her Husband. He paid the Taxi and both of them walked into the Apartment Building."Why do you have an apartment? She asked while he opened the door. He chose not to answer and she walked past him. If he was going to ignore her she would do the same."Gauri... He started but then stopped. He knew he had a lot of explaining to do but how? After all these years of our Working Relationship I have never met her. It's a shame don't you think so Omkara? His voice was dripping with something Gauri couldn't put her finger on. It almost sounded like a threat. Kaali looked at her with a lustful glint in his eyes and she knew exactly why Omkara had never introduced him to her. His eyes were literally undressing her."Om...Gauri whispered and looked at him. He shook his Head. For now he needed to stay calm. Her safety was the most important thing in his mind right now. "Kaali you remember our Agreement right. My wife is off limits. You should leave now...We will meet later. Omkara said and looked around. He knew his men were everywhere. He could never bring Gauri to a secret hide out place.My Wife is off limits, So That was why he stayed away from her. Why he never took her to his office parties, why he behaved so rudely to her. Omkara is a lucky guy to have met you first.She looked away, suddenly she felt like throwing up. His words implied something she never dared to think about, never wanted to think about. Kaali and his Men left the Garden and Omkara turned to his Wife."Gauri listen to me. I will explain you everything but please go Home now. They will watch you, Promise me you will go straight home. He grabbed her by her Shoulders and kissed her forehead. She was angry and sacred but the concern in his eyes made her happy. "Om...Is he the reason why you stayed away from me?
