It was almost dawn when khushi and her friends came back to their houses. Khushi entered the Alphas home... Her home while nodding at the guards at the door. The big gates got closed behind her as she stepped forward to enter her huge home, is it home? She chuckled sarcastic.

The moment she stepped inside the home she was engulfed in her mother's embrace.

"Khushi... Are you ok my dear? You are not hurt are you? What happened there... Tell me" asked a very worried Aakansha.

Khushi pulled away little " I am fine mother...but..."

"Khushi...." came a loud roar from the upstairs.

Khushi and her mother jumped on her feet hearing the Alphas tone.. which they knew very well. Her mother eyes teared up.  Khushi gulped her fear and got closer to her mother.

Mahesh came down in his royal blue outfit fuming with anger. "How dare you close your mind link? What were you doing there?.." he grabbed his 25 year old daughter's hand harshly making her wince in pain.

"Father.." khushi tried to explain

"Mahesh please.. it's not her fault.. please listen to her once..." Aakanksha tried to save her daughter.

"You stay out of this matter.." he growled at her.. "she is just bringing trouble to my pack day and night.... Don't know when this girl will learn... You need to be punished for this.." he said and started dragging her towards basement...

"Dad... Please... I didn't do anything.. please let me go... Mom...mom..." khushi tried to come out from the grip but he was using his alpha power and hold on her...

"Mahesh please... Listen to me... Please leave her... Don't do this.. my baby...my baby..." aakanksha tried to stop her mate. She tried to hold his hand but Mahesh shrugged her hand off from him and pushed her away. She fell on the floor crying for her daughter's fate at the hands of her mate... Her love... She was their own child... She sobbed at the events which had turned her beautiful life into nightmare.

She prayed to the Goddess to have mercy on her daughter..to end their miseries.. to save her daughter.. to bless her so that no one could hurt her...

"Dad... Please I beg you I didn't do anything wrong..." She said on verge of crying.

"Just shut your mouth" Mahesh screamed at her and opened the door of the room. "Shift before you enter the room" he commanded.

Khushi shivered seeing the familiar room and shifted as per Alphas command. She entered in the room and stood by the door when her father locked it.

"How dare you to defy my order? How dare you to defy my beta and gamma commands and do as you wished? I told you to behave the way you are expected too. Last time you bring utter chaos and ever since you are doing one or another mistake bringing our pride and family down in worst way... I just gave you permission to train just because I can't risk my pack.. but you... You don't have any responsibility in you to behave...you know I don't like this... So you will get punished for this " He shouted angrily on her making her flinch back to the door while he went behind the desk and wore a glove on his hand before lifting a cane which was none other than silver...

Khushi closed her eyes tight before the first blow came on her body making her scream out loud...making her skin burn like hell... " Dad forgive me..." She begged through mind link in order to save herself but alpha was not listening...nor her father inside him....

"Don't know why goddess cursed me with you... It was better you were dead too..." He whipped her again cursing her everytime he hit her wolf body making her scream loudly.

Her wolf form wasn't able to take it more as the blows continued for a while and she couldn't see anything and there was darkness everywhere.

The pain came as hurricane when she tried to gain conciousness. She felt something soft was beneath her. She hissed in pain as something touched her wound. But she also felt water on her face. Water? She tried to open her eyes but couldn't due to light. She tried again and saw a blurry image of her mother crying over her. Her head was resting on her mother's lap.  Ofcourse.. who else will do that...

She was still in the same room but now she was back to her human form and was covered with long cloth. Mother must have done that. Khushi moved a little and whimpered in pain.

"Khushi..my baby... You are awake... Thank the godddess... Oh my baby..." She said while hugging her gently.

Seeing her mother's tears hers also made way "Mom, I promise I haven't done anything wrong. Why he doesn't believe me"

"I know my dear.. I know... You haven't done anything wrong not in past and not even now" she said kept her hand on the wounded area looking at her. "This will hurt little..."

Khushi nodded as her mother recited the chants as she kept her hand on her wound making her scream again but this time for better and slowly her wounds started healing. Her mother had power to heal. She herself tried to see if she had those powers too but it didn't worked the way it was supposed to making her realise may be she doesn't have it. Hence her mother had been her savior every time this happened with her.

Everytime her father beat her he made sure there was no one in their castle to know about this. Even his brother's family lives in the same castle but they were on the other side and hence they couldn't know. This basement is her father's private office where he used to make important decisions and much more for their pack and no one is allowed here. Only her mother and she was allowed. Those were different days from now, it's her torture room though. No one can hear what happens here.

She looked at her mother who had lost her grace ever since these things had started. She is the most loving woman you can see but her father had ignored her too ever since. She is the only one who supported her all the way and even once got hit in rage by her father and she didn't let it happen ever again. It's better he hits her rather than her mother.

As she looked at her mother who continued to heal her and bandaging her wounds, she could see her mother's tears of helplessness... Helplessness of a woman who loved her mate and daughter dearly but fate had landed her in worst situation a woman can have. Who will believe that a luna of the pack is going through this situation. The woman who care and protect her whole pack is unable to prevent this in her own home...this was her reality behind the doors which no one knew... No one..

"Mom... When this will end?"

Aakansha looked at her with painful eyes and caressed her face in affection. "Soon my baby... Soon it will end... You are getting stronger more than ever.. I can feel it and I can see that too.. but you need to control it till the right time. Soon you will prove to everyone who you are and what you can do.. then no one will be able to stop you.."

Suddenly they flinched with loud bang of the door as her father entered and her mother held her more closer in her lap.

"Good you are awake..." He said not looking at khushi... "The packs are gathering in four days for the meeting. Aakansha, get her ready for the day.. May be I can get finally what I have been waiting for and my curse goes away..." He said while giving a fleeting look to khushi and left the room.

Khushi looked at her mother fearfully.. "Mom I can't... I don't want a mate..please.."

Aakansha looked at her daughter whose thoughts are not hidden from her... She knows why she is denying for this but she had strong belief that Goddess will surely bless her child this time and won't make her suffer. Aakansha held her daughter's hand "Khushi.. trust the goddess... May be this time things will be different and everything will change for good"

"What if it doesn't..." Khushi whispered..

Aakanksha said nothing but embraced khushi comforting her and prayed to Goddess to help them..
