Why does God punish his beloved man? This thought would have come atleast once in your mind when you were facing some hardship in your life and couldn't find an easy way out. If God loves us so much as He says then why the punishments ? After all no one wants to see his beloved ones in pain.. But I got such an answer of this question that I am still satisfied with it..
There was once an old professor of our vetenary department. He was very frank and friendly with his students and treated us just like his peers. We always enjoyed his lectures as most of the times they came along with treats of strange experience he had to face in his field . we always joked around in his lecture and it was a break from the tough routine of the day thus all the students waited eagerly for his lecture.. One day I went to his office ro submit my assignment. He was sitting on his favourite leather sofa in the corner and seemed to be in a deep thought with a nostalgic shine in his eyes. Not wanting to disturb him, I silently placed the files on his desk and when I was just about to tiptoe back to the door, he looked up at me and seemed a little startled at first to find me there.but then he smiled up at me and asked with a mischievous tone 'do you have some time to spare and hear something interesting?' I knew some exciting story was awaiting to be heard by me so I eagerly said 'sure sir' He adjusted himself in the comfortable chair as if about to start a long session and then turned towards me and started
"not many years ago, when I was quite young actually, he said with a wink, after a long and tiring day at work I was sitting in my office to relax and catch a few hours of sleep when suddenly the phone started ringing. The call was from an unusual number.To say that I got very annoyed would not be wrong. I let it ring for a minute or two and then finally attended it with a reluctant jesture.
"give clearance of your surrounding areas within 15 mins" a strict and grim voice at the other end said . to say that it was one of the strangest calls I've received in my life wouldn't be exaggeration.
Exactly fifteen minutes later,when I was close to dying with curiosity, ___ came roaring around my office building and surrounded it from all sides. People dressed in civil uniforms came marching into my office with heavy steps and one officer who seemed to be their leader stepped toward me. I was looking at him with questioning eyes and a feared expression on my face cuz so many people marching into my office without permission wasn't a part of my routine. He finally spoke with the same strict voice I had heard on phone and finally told me what exactly was goin on. I was informed that the foreign secretary of America has come for my guidance as her dog had some problems and I'm one of the most famous veterans in the city. A few minutes later___ lady with blonde hair, guarded by two more officers on both sides, entered my office along with a small black dog of good breed at her heels.
She came right to business and said in a worried voice "I dont know what has happened to my dog. He has been behaving strangely lately. He has become disobedient now and doesn't come when I call him and runs away from me instead. He used to be so fond of me but now it just seems like he always want to get away from me" I examined the dog carefully for five minutes and then said "mam leave your dog with me for one night. I'll examine him thoroughly and will sort out the problem..
She seemed reluctant at first but then agreed half heartedly as she didn't want to leave her dog behind.
At last everyone left and I called my____
" Faizu! Lock this dog up in the barn of cows.
Oh and listen.. Beat him up with leather whips after every half an hour. And after every hour, just give him water to drink and nothing else. And when he is finished drinking water, whip him again.

The next day mam arrived with her squad and two body guards at her side 'sir what bout my pup? I couldn't sleep last night without him by my side." she said in a worried tone. It was clear that she was very close to her dog.
"Well I hope that your pup missed you as much as you missed him" I said with a smile. I ordered____ to bring in the dog.
When the fog arrived in my office, he looked up at his master and jumped up in her lap at once and started licking her and waging his tail.
The dog was looking at me with thankful eyes and I smiled secretly.
The secretary said with gratitude in her voice "sir what did you do to him that he has completed changed"
I replied "your dog had become used to the luxurious life of silk bed, air conditioned room and excellent diet that he was provided with and as a result, he forgot who was the real master. He just needed a little psychological and physical treatment to remind him of the reality. I just provided him with that. Now he's okay"
