Jerry (Narrator)

The night was cold and unwelcoming. A little girl lay shivering on the root of a tree, desperately trying to preserve body heat. She heard the crack of a stick and curled up into a tight ball. A man walked out from the shadows and stood in front of the girl.

"Please don't hurt me." The girl pleaded.

"I have no use for a scrawny girl like you...unless." The man mumbled to himself. "Come with me. I will provide clothing, a home and Pokemon training."

"Are you serious?" the little girl asked

"Of course, I can see great potential in you and can help you to achieve it."

"THANK YOU A BUNCH MISTER!!"  Sadly the girl didn't know anything about stranger danger. She never expected the pain and heartbreak she would encounter with the man.

"What's your name girl?"

"My name is Mia Bellafonté."

The man was stunned that this little girl was from the prestigious Bellafonté family. They were known for the technology that they developed. Recently in the papers it had said that the family has died in a fire started by a Pokemon. Apparently this child was the sole survivor.

"Your new name is Amethyst." The man stated.

"Why?" Asked Mia.

"Because I said so."

"Okay." She agreed quickly, scared that he would take back his offer.

Over the years, the girl was put through test after test. She lost friends and made more. Over time, she became a machine. Exactly what Giovanni wanted in the first place. She was cold hearted to every one besides her Pokemon. During her training, the first Pokemon she ever caught was an Eevee. She was only 6 years old at the time. The bond she shared with the Eevee was amazing. They were one of the strongest partners out there. They seemed as if they were meant to be together. As time passed, Amethyst caught a Riolu, a Pichu, and a Growlithe. At the age of 8, she successfully caught a Darkrai. Even Giovanni was amazed by the progress she was making. She was soon ready to start doing jobs for Giovanni. Her first mission was simple, she was to sneak into the Edwin household and take their formula they created for evolving Pokemon.

That's where are villain is now.
