A creature wakes up in a dark room, trapped in a machine. They tried to escape, but to no avail. "Urgh...c'mon, bust already!" They said, struggling to escape the machine that held them. "Escaping already, Malaria?" Another voice said. "The party hasn't even started yet." The figure came out, smiling.

Malaria glared at the figure, "Screw you, Mani. You never had to listen to him." She said, a bit of disappointment in her voice. "Master Lindworm would've disposed of you and your species by now, especially since your Aerophibian friend escaped. However, we found a better place for you. A much better place." Mani said, grabbing a spell book. "You can kiss that heroic attitude of yours goodbye. Venith Altroz Maltunk!" He said, before casting a spell on the creature.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH-"

Max and Surge walk down the laboratory. With the vines covering the windows and such, you'd think it was abandoned. However, it's just part of the greenhouse that's at the end of the lab.

Surge: So... what are we here for again?
Max: To Investigate the Creatures, bastard.
Surge: Right back at ya.

The two superheroes walk into a room to be greeted by Rosa.

Rosa: Ah, there you two are!
Max: Hey Rosa, what's the situation?
Rosa: Right. Me and Pam are gonna check on you two as you investigate the creatures-
Pam: Aliens. They came in a spaceship of sorts.
Rosa: Right.

The heroes step back.

Surge: Wait, us?
Pam: Yeah. You are gonna investigate the clock alien. Max will take care of the other one. Oh! And one other thing: do not harm them!
Max: Oh, Alright. Let's do this.

Max looks for a headset, then grabs the first one that wasn't taken. While Surge grabs one himself, Max runs into the room, energized. She then looks at the alien in front of her. It looked like an humanoid sting ray. Max then decided to wake it up.

Max: Hello..?
???: ...Wha....AH!
Max: Hey, Calm down! Don't worry!
???: I Should be if I'm being held captive!
Max: No I-it's not that! We just want to... talk to you!

Rosa facepalmed at Max's claim. She could tell that this was gonna be a long day.

???: Wait...

The alien thought for a moment, looking at Max.

???: Alright, I'm open.
Max: Ok. First off, who- err...what are you?
???: My name is Alex, and I'm an Aerophibian.
Max: A what-now?
Alex: Aerophibian. I didn't expect you to know, especially in this world.
Max: This world? Never mind. Now, who is your friend?
Alex: You mean Chron?
Max: I think, it's just the mechanical alien in the other room.

Max noticed something was off, so she got off her seat and looked from the side to see his tail shooting a laser, burning the rope.

Alex: Sayornara!
Max: What the- Hey!
Pam: Damnit!

Alex flies out the door, with Pam grabbing her Minigun. Alex shoots lasers from his eyes at the other door, opening it.

Alex: C'mon Chron!
Surge: Holy-
Chron: ...Alex?
Surge: Not on my watch!

Surge grabs Chron and tries to run away, but Alex quickly followed. Max went to chase after them, with Pam and Rosa behind her. Alex then grabbed Chron by the key on his head with his tail and blasted lasers from his eyes at Surge and Max. Surge then Upgrades a tier as they leave the lab.

Surge: They're getting Away!
Max: I think I can catch up. Surge! Go find a thrower, any will do!

As Max runs off, Surge looks around only to see Barley's Bar. Then suddenly, he has a lightbulb.

Surge: Alright!

Meanwhile, Max is still on chase with the aliens.

Max: Get back here! *shoots at Alex*
Alex: *Swiftly dodges them* Nope!
Max: I swear I'm gonna kill you!

Alex seemed to fly on faster than before. Frustrated, Max continued to run after the alien, shooting him every now and then. She fell down to take a small rest when the duo dropped by. She then realized what was happening: They were going for the spaceship, and she has to hurry.

Max: Alright, It's now or never.

She leaps high into the sky and charges at Them.

Max: GET BACK HERE!
Alex: Uh oh.

Max tackles Chron, trying to pin him down. Alex then flies up, avoiding Max until a bottle hits him.

Alex: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!
Max: What the- Surge!

Surge and Barley catch up to Max

Surge: We missed something?
Max: Nope.
Barley: May I?
Max: Go ahead.

Barley walks up to the Aerophibian. Alex then crawls back in response, waiting for the inevitable. Barley instead gives him some herbal tonic

Alex: Wait...but why?
Barley: This isn't a match, and besides, You must have a strong will if you escaped. You deserve this to continue.

Alex grabbed the Herbal Tonic Bottle and stood up, embarrassed. Max helped Chron up after pinning him. He then looked at Alex, a bit confused on why he was trying to fly.

Alex: Eheh..well, I guess I have some explaining to do?
Max: Yep.
Alex: Well, I can tell you once we get this fixed.
Max: Pam and Jessie can help with that, but I thought Pam and Rosa were chasing you.
Chron: Who?
Alex:...Let me talk to Chron for a moment.

As Alex talks to Chron about where they are, Max looks at Surge and Barley, "Thanks for coming quick." She said. Surge smiled, his teeth glowing with each word. "No problem. When Barley heard about what was happening, he had to come." Barley then said, "It's what I had to do." They all laughed as Alex looked back at them. "Alright," he said in his scratchy yet high voice, "I'll tell ya why I'm here, but only if one of you come with me afterwards."

The trio looked at each other, astonished by Alex's offer. 'Why would he want one of us?' Surge thought. He was about to reply, until Max spoke. "Alright, I'll come." She replied, confident. "Wait what?!" Surge yelled, confused as to what Max said. She looked at Surge, and smiled as she looked back at Alex. "Now tell us why are you here." Alex's tail raised as Chron stood a safe distance away from him. "Alright, we need help. Back in my world, a cosmic being named Lindworm and his monstrous lackies have been taking over my universe. I escaped on a great spaceship, and lost my friend. The spaceship right here is merely an escape pod." He explained, desperate. "This is why I need one of you to come with me." His tail drooped as Barley seemed shocked, while Surge and Max seemed confused. 'Universe? He's from another Universe!' Max thought as she grabbed Alex's hand. "Alright. I'll come with you."

Mani looked at the Arburian Pelarota in front of him. 'It has been done' He thought as he disabled the Machine, dropping Malaria from in. Mani seemed pleased with her. "Malaria," he said, "How do you feel now..." Malaria had yet to look up at Mani as she spoke.

"I feel..."

"I feel......"

"I feel fantastic!"

"AHAHAHAHHAHA!"
