I leaned back in my chair and sighed. I closed my eyes, then slightly opened them when I heard a message go off on my phone.
I opened my phone and saw a text from my boyfriend I guess you could call him? Her? I dont even know anymore.
'Hey was wondering if you could hang out today.' The message said. I shook my head.
'Sorry I don't really want to leave the house.' I sent back and then went back to my game.
Today I was breeding the Rex's to see if I could get any mutations, I was mostly looking for high health or melee. Colors would be nice too, but for boss fight and such those are what you needed for Rex's.
I led a female rex and a male to the breeding pen and turned on mating.
Tapping on my desk, I heard another text go off on my phone. I looked at it and sighed.
'Okay have fun.' It said.
'Thank you.' I messaged back and turned my phone on silent. I was in no mood for drama today. Honestly that's all he's been causing as of late, I gave him attention and continued to for four years. FOUR YEARS. I barely recieved ant back up until now when I wasnt focused on him. I guess that's just how things are though.

The way that I had been treated in the relationship wasnt the best either, I always felt as if I was stepping on eggshells if I brought up a topic that needed to be talked about.
"Hey you." I jumped realising Ares was talking to me.
"Oh..uh hi." I smiled a bit." How does it?"

"How was work?"
"Don't get me started." He groaned at the thought.
"That bad?"
"You have no idea."
"Wanna talk about it?" I asked.
"Not exactly." Ares muttered. I felt the annoyance and slight seething anger in his voice.
"Very well. Anyway I'm breeding the Rex's. " i said happily.
