Soon enough we were all taken to the common room and told where our dorms are, luckily my roommate was the one and only Pansy Parkinson. This year it was two girls to a dorm while the boys had five to a dorm.

As soon as we settled in, Pansy and I headed over to the boys dorm seeing as all three boys (Draco, Blaise, and Enzo) were in the same dorm and our nosey asses wanted to meet the other roommates they were paired with.

Once we arrived at the dorm I knocked on the door gently, and once receiving no answer I once again knocked this time extremely loud as the sound echoed around the halls. The door swung open and an angry Draco opened the door whom Pansy and I pushed past.

I looked around the dorm taking in the size of the room as I looked at the five beds squeezed into the room. I sit down on the bed I notice has Enzo's stuff on it and then say 'hello' to Blaise which waiting for Enzo to come out of the bathroom.

"So how do you guys like the room?" Pansy asked just as Enzo walked out of the bathroom, startling him a bit as he saw us. "It's alright," both Blaise and Enzo said in sync before sending nods at each other across the room. Draco however completely ignored the question and rolled his eyes which made Pansy and me roll our eyes in return. "Do you guys know who the other two roommates are?" I asked gesturing to the two beds on the other side of the room already set up for whoever was staying in them.

The boys shrugged and said "we met them briefly before they walked off together to the common room." Blaise stated before turning around to continue unpacking his clothes.

"Well in that case, hurry up and finish packing so we can go explore the common room too!" Pansy said standing up and helping Blaise to empty his trunk.

As soon as the boys were done taking forever to unpack we walked to the common room together. Which surprisingly Draco joined us for, as he before acted like he didn't want to be friends with us but is now laughing and trying to join in with our plans.

Pansy and I linked arms as we skipped down to the common room. Blaise and Enzo copying our skips behind us jokingly, with Draco judgementally walking behind them (you know he wants to laugh).

As soon as arrived to the common room we slowed down and took it all in. The common room had the most beautiful green color engulfing the room, a few leather sofas and chairs around the room, and the most beautiful fireplace I've ever seen. There weren't too many people in the common room either. Besides us there were maybe five or six.

Enzo nudged me bringing me from my thoughts to which him and Blaise pointed to the two boys on the couch next to each other, staring at the fire. "That's our roommates," Blaise tells us as he bent down to Pansy's and my level to whisper in our ears.

Pansy and I share a look before nodding and then grabbing the boys, pulling them over to the couches across from the two roommates we hadn't met yet. Pansy and I sat just looking at the boys across from us while Enzo, Blaise and Draco sat uncomfortably staring between us and the boys across from us.

Eventually the boys across from us just stared back before the one of the left coughed awkwardly trying to break the silence "uhm hello," he said shifting on the couch to sit up straight, Pansy followed to sit up straight with a smile, "Hi" she said sweetly and the boy who spoke before replies to her "why are you ladies staring at us?" He said and before I could respond Pansy spoke up again "Well we wanted to meet the roommates of our friends who we'll be seeing a lot" she stated obviously and the boy across from us nodded his head, the other one not moving besides to blink.

"Oh well that makes sense, I'm Theodore Nott" he smiles as he looks at Pansy and then at me, then gently nudges his friend besides him whom has not said a word. "I'm Pansy" she spoke before the other boy opened his mouth to which Theodore nudged the boy again. "Mattheo, Mattheo Riddle." He said as if he was bored with the conversation and then as I thought of why his name sounded familiar, Pansy nudged me "y/n, y/n Hawkins" I said quickly with a small smile before trying to remember my train of thought. As I looked back at the Riddle boy I saw him as he stared straight at me making me raise an eyebrow as stared back. Just as quick as I noticed the boy smirked at me before looking away.

Theodore was in conversation with Pansy and the other boys before I was snapped out of my thoughts once again by the sound of my name "y/n?" I turned to look at Enzo besides me giving me a look as if asking if I was okay to which I nodded. "So would you all want to get to know each other through a small game of truth or dare?" Pansy asked smirking at the group to which I was surprised because Pansy Parkinson never wants to play truth or dare.

The boys ended up agreeing and we decided to head back to the boys dorms so we wouldn't be yelled at for being out past curfew, Pansy and I would just have to sneak back later on.

We sat in a circle infront of the boys beds, on the floor. We all look at each other before Pansy speaks up "I'll start! Hmmm Theodore, truth or dare?" She asks a smirk on her face. Theodore returns the smirk and replies with "Truth" to which Pansy asks "Have you ever kissed someone?" Theodore answers with a smile on his face "Why yes, yes I have" he nodded before looking around the room before his eyes landed on me, "y/n truth or dare?" "Dare" I responded with before that smirk of his appeared once again "I dare you to hold hands with Enzo for the rest of the game" he said as if he was the smartest person in the world to which I laughed and said "okay, easy peasy"  Enzo put his hand out to me and I grabbed it with a smile on my face.

The game went on for awhile before we ended it with Blaise asking Mattheo "truth or dare" to which mattheo also responded with "truth" and Blaise asked who his parents are and everyone stopped when they heard the name "Voldemort."

A little after we stopped playing truth or dare we told the boys goodbye as Pansy and I snuck our way to our dorm. Once safely inside we let out a sigh and giggle before walking to our beds and laying down.

"Hey y/n?" She asks as she sits up and I do the same to face her. "Yes pans?" I responded "What do you think of that Theo kid? He's cute right?" She asks as she blushes slightly and I smile see her knowingly "sure cute for you" I joke and lay back down "get to know him first, babes" I say before rolling on my side "will do!" She says before laying back down "but as far as I'm concerned he's already good looking on the outside and his personality isn't as bad as mini Voldemort in there" she said jokingly. "That's not nice, pans. He doesn't seem like his father just gotta give him a chance" I spoke softly as I tried not to fall asleep in the middle of our conversation which Pansy already seemed to do as I heard a loud snore immediately after speaking.

"So much for talking before bed" I laugh quietly before closing my eyes and falling asleep myself.

The next morning I was woken up by a pillow smacking me in the face. I sat up quickly to find Pansy laughing and then pointing at the clock. It was 7am and we had twenty minutes if we wanted to get breakfast before class.

I immediately jumped up, throwing a pillow at Pansy on the way to the bathroom as I changed into a grey t-shirt and blue ripped jeans before throwing my school robes over top and quickly doing my morning routine, of light makeup, brushing my hair, and brushing my teeth.

I quickly tied my shoes, grabbed Pansy's hand, and then dragged her down to the Great Hall to eat.

We burst in through the doors but with five minutes to spare as we sat down. We took our seats next to the boys, me beside Enzo on my left and Draco on my right with Pansy across from me between Blaise and Theodore, Mattheo on Theodore's other side.

The boys looked at us with wide eyes as we sat down and quickly grabbed food like we were starved animals. "What?" I asked rolling my eyes and looking at the boys with bacon hanging out my mouth while I grabbed a slice of toast. "You do know you wouldn't have to eat so quickly if you'd wake up on time," Draco said before I kicked him once again under the table. "I know you dimwit, we just forgot to set our alarms last night because of how late we got back" I replied before slowing down slightly to eat the slice of toast I had grabbed.

"As long as you know.." Draco continued before I glared at him. "So what'd we miss?" Pansy piped in as she stabbed a piece of watermelon with her fork to which the boys just replied with "nothing really" or shrugs. "Good to know we're the life of the party" I smiled and then winked at Pansy "in your dreams Y/n" Enzo nudged me with a laugh.

The bell rung quickly after a few minutes and we all looked at our schedules, to my surprise my first class was potions with snape and the whole group had it.

We quickly ran to class and sat down before snape arrived, barely sitting down before the grumpy man walked through the door. "Don't get comfortable I'll be assigning potion partners" he says blandly before pulling out some parchment I'm guessing with the partners already written down. He starts listing off names quickly "Malfoy and Greengrass, Potter and Weasley, Riddle and Hawkins, Parkinson and Zabini-" that was all I heard before realizing I'd be seated with Mattheo.

I looked up to see him already moving to sit next to me to which I smiled at him slightly and he just nodded back. I'm hoping this boy is decent in potions cause I have no idea what I'm doing.

I turned around as I felt someone poke me in the back, it was Enzo and he was sat next to Theodore. He smiled at me and winked before handing me a note and gesturing for me to turn around.

You think you'll do good in greasy haired Snape's class? I'm hoping you do that ways I can copy off you. But if not I guess you can copy off Mattheo and give me the notes. ;) Just kidding.... Or am I?

Enzo

I just turned back to him with a questioning look "there was no need for this note" I whispered shaking my head at him then turning back around.

Potions was boring all we did was get assigned partners and then read the introductions to our books before being dismissed. I soon went through a few kisses before moving on to my last class, transfiguration.

I arrived a bit early due to having a free period before this class. As soon as I sat down I noticed a figure walking over and sitting next to me. As many other seats that were open this random person had to pick next to me.

"Hey?" I looked up to see the person speaking and saw Mattheo "hey" was all I said in response before looking back down and pulling a piece of parchment out. "Uh is it okay if I sit here?" He asked and I nodded "I don't control what you do," I looked at him and he nodded before taking out his own piece of parchment and setting it on the table.

Soon the class started and unlike snap McGonagall let us sit in the seats we had already chosen which I guess I wasn't upset with. Mattheo was my only friend(?) I guess in the class so I didn't mind.

Once class was over I smiled at him and asked if he'd like to walk with me to dinner to which he replied a quick yes. I then quickly linked my arm around his and pulled him along, ignoring his staring at our linked arms.

We eventually arrived at dinner to which I pull my arm out of him and ran to the table to scare Enzo.

"BOO" I screamed making the boy jump and spill the water he was drinking down himself. I giggled and sat down next to him before patting his back as he glared at me while cleaning him pants with a napkin.

"My bad" I shrugged and then looked at Blaise who was still smiling a bit from the incident that just played out "Do you know where Pansy is?" I asked and he just shrugged "haven't seen her since Potions" was all he said before kicking Enzo and Enzo giving him a mean glare that made Blaise and me laugh.

Soon enough as we all started to eat, Pansy walks in giggling and talking to Theodore. "Hey Pans" I say wiggling my eyebrows at her causing her to smack the back of my head and stick her tongue out. She sat down next to me before I whispered in her ear "you're telling me everything" she then nodded and a slight blush rose to her cheeks as she looked down at her plate.

After dinner the whole group walked back the common rooms together before saying goodbye and walking to our separate dorms.

"PANSY PARKINSON" I yelled as soon as we closed the door and she looked at me with a huge smile creeping across her face. "Soooo what happened??!!!" I asked smiling at her.

"So we Theo and I had last period together and we sat with one another and then we just got to talking and he said he wanted to take me to this cool place he knows which was the black lake and then as we were out there we looked at the stars and he held my hand and......we almost kissed I think?" She blurted out rather quickly. "You almost kissed? You think??" I asked while looking at her confused but happy for her. "I mean yeah like we stared at each other for awhile and then he leaned in but Neville came out and said something and he pulled back quickly but I could've misjudged the situation." She says looking down and I squealed "OMG you and Theo were gonna kiss. Stupid Neville remind me to knock some sense into him tomorrow," I joked before pulling her into a hug.

"I'm so happy for you, Pans" and she just smiled and hugged back. Who knows by second year her and Theo may be together.

As soon as we both got ready for bed I heard a scratch at my window meaning my owl, Scarlett had a letter. I opened the window and she flew in. I gave her a head scratch and a treat before taking the note and sending her on her way.

I need to talk to you about something important. Meet me at the astronomy tower at 10pm. Don't get caught and don't tell anyone.

I looked at the note with confusion. Good thing Pansy had fallen asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. It was already 9:30 so I decided I'd just head there while I could and stare at the stars for a bit.

I grabbed my hoodie and headed to the astronomy tower, quickly and quietly. Who sent me this?
