Lyall could not take her out of his mind.
He tried to sleep it away, but there was something about that woman that had gotten his attention. He asked himself when he was going to see her again, even if for a fact he knew that the girl was obviously not from this world. The wizard paced back and forth in his office, trying to think of a way to encounter her once again.
"Lupin? You okay, mate?" Lyall turned around and nodded. "You've been all out of it since that Boggart."
"It wasn't my figure that I saw, Devin. It was the girl's we saw last night."
"Wait, so what did happen?" Lyall offered the empty seat to his partner and turned to his own chair, leaning forward and sighing. "The girl we found in the forest was a Muggle."
"How do you know she was a muggle?"
"I just knew. She was dressed very... professionally, and I have never seen her around the Ministry, or school for that matter. She should've known how cast away a Boggart." Devin nodded.
"So what got you wrapped around her finger?"
"She was just.." Lyall grinned, making Devin laugh at the face of his friend.
"You just met the girl and you're insanely into her right now."
"It's insane." Lyall agreed before putting his face on the table and sighing. "I'm just stuck on why she was there at that hour. There was no other person out there but her and well, us."
"You're acting like a teenager t your thirties. Is this what usually happens because I'm 32 and I was just a boring adult." Lyall laughed and shook his head. "Look, Lyall. You're what? 45?"
"31, you ass."
"Same thing." Lyall rolled his eyes. "It was time for you to find a girl and get settled down. You know, Boggarts and other creatures aren't good bed company."

Hope stood at the bus stop, ready to get to work when the car had stopped in front of her. She took a step back before the window rolled down, exposing the man behind the wheel. She cautiously walked to the car, her hand gripping her purse in case of anything. When she looks down, she loosened the grip and chuckled, putting her hand over her heart.
"Lyall, right?" Lyall grins and nods. "What are you doing here?"
"I was trying to see if the pretty lady in the bus stop needed a lift anywhere?" Hope looked behind her and back at Lyall before nodding making the man smile even wider. Looking at both directions, she entered his car and giggled at the sight of the bus on the mirror. "How have you been?" He asked after Hope kind of breaking down on how to arrive at the building where her office was located.
"I've been well. Just some nightmares. Might have to do something about that... the thing last night." Hope looked over at him. "How did you find me?"
"Well, I was going to visit some mu.. music store I know saw last time around here, and well saw you waiting for that bus."
"I'm not usually at the stop. I had my bicycle stolen recently. Well more like two nights ago, right on the next block." Lyall listened closely to Hope's missing bicycle fiasco and Hope had spilled it all. There was something about Lyall Lupin that made her feel comfortable and very well protected. Maybe it was the situation she was found that let them meet, he did save her from whatever that man was going to do to her. The drive to her work could not be any longer, but they continued to talk as they sat in his car in the parking lot. Lyall nodded and commented when the time was right, and even offered himself to take her to work every day unless he had to work night shifts. "I don't want to be a bother." Lyall laughed.
"You won't bother me, Hope. It'll be my pleasure to pick you up and drop you off at work." Hope smiled and looked at her watch, before gasping, grabbing her stuff in a hurry. "You okay?"
"I won't be if I spend another second here." Hope leaned in to give him a peck on the cheek and felt her cheeks heat up as she got out of the car. "Thank you!" She exclaimed before walking in the building and rushing to her office before the boss appeared.
"Hey! I thought you were going to be late." Camila handed her friend a cup of tea and grinned as she saw Hope take a sip of it. "You seem flushed, you okay?"
"Camila, I just rushed here." Camila just nodded to agree, but deep down she knew she had to get her to spill out on why the cheeks of Hope Howell were pink and why her eyes were as bright as the full moon last night.
