EXTENDED SUMMARY:

Beverly Marsh had many rumors surrounding her. So did Clementine Rhodes. The most popular one about the latter was that she was a big, capital L, Lesbian. Beverly Marsh was rumored to have slept with almost every guy in the school. One of those rumors was true. These two girls and these two rumors seemingly had nothing to do with each other, but they intertwined in a way no one thought. While Beverly had yet to sleep with one guy at their school, there was someone. Someone by the name of Clementine. The two spent most of the school year escaping, spending nights "studying" at Clementine's house instead of going home to Bev's father. Then, during the summer of '89, Beverly cuts things off. It's dangerous, risky. In an effort to get back the girl she loves, Clementine starts hanging out with the Losers Club.

NOTES:

— Um, they don't actually hook up they're middle schoolers, they're just soft girls that are in love

— They break up and Clementine thinks it's because things are getting too risky, but really it's because Bev came home and forgot to cover up a hickey and her dad punished her for it so she broke things off

— Clementine is a LESBIAN, this CANNOT change! It's a rumor because once a boy tried to kiss her and she slapped him (I think it would he funny if that boy was one of the losers to like... awkwardness ensues when she starts hanging out with them)
