EXTENDED SUMMARY
Caroline Winters had been Beverly Marsh's only friend for as long as anybody could remember. They were inseparable— you would never see one without the other. They loved each other, they were all they had, the only ones in their lives that mattered. Beverly was Caroline's, she had always been and she always would be. So what the fuck was Bill Denbrough thinking trying to change that?

— thus story would make more sense if it was written mostly from beverly's third person POV

— this story is basically scary love by the neighborhood meets jd from heathers

— this isn't a love story. this is about a girl (caroline) with an unhealthy obsession with her best friend beverly.

— caroline isnt a psychopath, she's just a shitty person.

— she has neglectful parents so when she formed a bond with beverly, who would offer her all the attention in the world, she became OBSESSED with making sure it always stayed that way. (this is not an excuse it's just an explanation as to why she is the way she is.)

— caroline is extremely manipulative and abusive!! she gaslights bev, she's possessive, she's just a very toxic person.

— when bev first became friends with caroline she thought her possessiveness was cute like an aw she's so caring and sweet kind of thing but as time went on bev finally starts to go ??? OK WAIT???

— caroline would probs threaten bill after she finds the postcard ben wrote (bc she thought it was him)

— she wouldn't get along with any of the losers but she refuses to let bev hang out with them alone because she's an asshole

— this either ends with pennywise killing caroline or with beverly finally cutting caroline out of her life but either way caroline isn't in the sewers during the final battle
