EXTENDED SUMMARY:
Jane Hopper didn't look like much when she popped up in the small Maine town, donned in flannels and baggy jeans. The students at Derry Middle hardly noticed her sudden presence at all, her lips usually sealed during class and only opening to mumble "mouthbreather" every time Henry Bowers made a comment during the period.
She stayed hidden within the masses of middle school crowds, just as she was told by the former police chief of Hawkins, Indiana. Her head was always kept low and her eyes never quite met the gaze of another.
But when a muscly boy starts messing with someone who looks particularly like Mike Wheeler, Jane can't help but spring into action, blood leaving a scarlet trail from her nostril.
The losers club didn't think the Hopper girl was all that extraordinary, but after witnessing Henry pee himself upon her gaze's command, they all came to the conclusion that maybe the brunette was more than she seemed.

NOTES:
— jane is mad @ hopper in the beginning for moving them ( they move for safety reasons bc she was too exposed in hawkins )

— takes place after season two

— very confused by why mike has glasses and is flirting with her bc she doesn't know it's richie

— but he gets in her head & she can't finish him off bc all her hawkin's memories become too much

— shouldn't have a love interest bc she cares for & misses mike so much ( but richie still flirts 25/7 )

— the book should have a "sad" ending bc jane blew her cover by using her powers so they move again
