EXTENDED SUMMARY
Jean Grey was nothing like Derry, Maine has ever seen. The girl was a chaotic wildfire, fear manifesting itself in powers beyond her control. She had lived a normal and quiet life until the storm of 1988, when she mentally linked with an evil entity hiding in the sewer, catching a glimpse of his pure terror and nearly killing herself in the process.
Scared of what she could become, Jean blocked her powers from escalating any further, the strain taking a toll on her body. But by summer of 1989, children started disappearing at a frantic rate, and the redhead couldn't leave her town to die one by one.
Banding together with her town's local Losers Club, and a righteous girl by the name of Beverly Marsh, the group wreaks havoc among flooded sewers and in turn get closer to the danger that plagued Jean's very conscious.

NOTES
— instead of jean's powers manifesting with her best friend's death like in the comics, it manifests with pennywise's first killing after the 27 years

— she considers herself dangerous and tries her best to keep the group safe from her

— jean doesn't want to get too close to beverly bc she doesn't want her to get hurt

— she has a stable home life, but feels disconnected with her family bc they can't know about her powers

— her fear is herself and what she could become !! ( pennywise uses this to his advantage )

— BEV AND JEAN ARE SOFT GIRLFRIENDS

— the only way she can kill pennywise is if she syncs up their conscious, but bc her health is so weak from blocking her powers she can't finish him off and ends up sacrificing herself*

— you can choose if she dies or passes out, i think it would be more powerful if she did end up dying to show the losers how serious the threat is and why they need to come back as adults*

— if she dies show how it takes a toll on the group but especially bev
