EXTENDED SUMMARY
Blake Watts was always the last to figure things out. In the last months, he had become the weirdo of Derry, coming back from the summer with two dads, a black brother, and a pretty strange sister. Spending the summer with two openly gay men, he picked up on things, maybe not completely, but he picked up on some things. For example, he was absolutely repelled by girls, maybe caused by the weirdness of his new sister, or for reasons completely unknown. When his neighbors brother mysteriously is taken, causing a certain trashmouth appearing in his lawn every morning, he thinks this boy might be the right one. So after some poorly-taken cues, he kisses him. And oh boy, that made for one heck of a backfire.

- blake is a poor lil baby, but he's
just so passionate about things and falls
easily in love with anything
(especially a certain trashmouth)

- richie is confusion but he like pretends
it never happened, because he's
embarrassed and doesn't know what
emotions are

- blake really doesn't understand
what actually kissing richie means, and is
totally chill the next day.

- of course, the whole losers club finds out and,
especially bill & bev, are obsessed with
the two, and do anything for them to be in the same room.

- his brother is played by caleb mclaughlin, who could have a mALe love interest (mike hanlon please and thank you)

- his sister can be played by who you want, but maybe madelaine petsch or something ???

- blake's story is the main one though, and his fear is mainly just being completely left out, or being forgotten.

- this book should start right before the movie (summer vacation) which means blake & richie have plenty of time to talk

- don't have end up together, but blake should just be happy as a gay child

but i like watts because he's like the last to figure things out, he's at the end of the attendance list,,,, ya catch my drift ??
