EXTENDED SUMMARY
Aaron Greene only had one friend in all of Derry- the new kid, the 'fat' kid, the quiet boy, Ben Hanscom, who sat across from him in the library, as they shares a table and talked in quiet whispers about some interesting thing they'd heard about history or something on the news.

And when Aaron sees four boys biking across the road with his injured friend, he follows, and becomes entangled in a terrifying battle and an unlikely crush.

NOTES
-write boyxboy Ben Hanscom fics you cowards

-Aaron is a gay awkward nerdy mess and words fall out of his mouth at the wrong time save him

-His parents are homophobic (not abusive) so he's very far in the closet

-Make it a sad ending where they confess but can't be together because if word got out Aaron's parents would murder him and Ben would be even more bullied then he already is

-Soft angst? Yes Please

-Ben makes New Kids on the Block references constantly and Aaron is like "why do I like this dork"

-Please have a scene where they share a pack of nerds (the candy) and Aaron jokes "it's us"
