EXTENDED SUMMARY
Belle Addams was betrayed. She only had a few friends, and honestly, she treasured them and treated them like gods. Until they decide that the Addams girl's preference for the female gender is a disgusting, and ditch her. Crying in what she thought was an empty bathroom stall is the first thing Belle does.

And there, her face red and tears running down her face, she meets another sobbing figure, Beverly Marsh. The two girls hang onto each other like vines, and soon, a friendship of broken bathroom buddies turns into a young romance.

NOTES
— belle isn't a badass, at all. she's scared and she's torn over the abandonment of her friends

—belle is small and smol, and when the group jumps off the cliff, she refuses to, and beverly has to climb the cliff again and jump with her

—belle and bev's relationship will be adorable, a lot of hand tugs and rests on each other's shoulders

—richie calls her "ding dong" or "doorbell"

—belle was taken for granted by her friends and kind of a doormat for them, so she's afraid the losers are going to abandons her as well

—when in the spring water (cliff scene), richie says  "ringy ding ding, two homosexuals in a spring"  to them

—a lot of homophobia!! a lot!!! even though belle isn't out, there are still rumours and the 80s were not an enlightened time
