EXTENDED SUMMARY:

Saffron Clemons was new to Derry, Maine and she definitely didn't want to be there.

After all of the missing kids and body parts appearing in the sewers, Saffron knew right away that this wasn't the place for her. She just wanted a quiet place to stay! And that didn't include a clown killing and eating children.

But, when she gets a babysitting job for Ben Hanscom, she finally thinks that she can at least do something to earn some money. It was better than just sitting at home and pouting for the entire summer.

She just didn't expect Ben Hanscom try to slip outside his bedroom window to join his friends to try to plan how they were gonna stop It from terrorizing their town.

And she also didn't expect being dragged along with them.

NOTES:
- saffron starts out as a moody teenager but ends up being a TOTAL BADASS

- she has a bad relationship with her parents, who sent her off to live in Derry, Maine (even though they knew about the missing kids). she now lives with a distant relative for the summer before her parents move up during her senior year.

- she's a really bad babysitter and she hates the losers at first, until she finds out that beverly was taken and then she becomes full on mama bear

- HER AND STEVE WOULD BE THE GREATEST DUO OF ALL TIME DONT FIGHT ME and i know steve isn't in the fanfic but a cross over could totally happen if you decide to make a sequel

- she's super snarky and sarcastic (like the older version of richie tozier, just not as inappropriate).

- richie and the boys lowkey have a crush on her but she only thinks of them as little kids. besides that would be disgusting if she felt any romantic feelings towards any of them

- ben ends up being her favorite kid in the entire world. she cares about him so much, like he's her little brother.

- it could end when she sees them all in her high school (except bev of course) and she could just roll her eyes and call out "Hey losers!" or something like that

- she'll be fighting pennywise with them and when pennywise gets ahold of bill, she'll try to run at him but the rest of the losers will hold her back (you can't touch her children)

- she hates hearing the boys cuss and she will call them out. but then she'll turn around and say the f word like 12 times so they don't really pay attention to what she has to say

- she tries to argue with the losers a ton and always tries to get her way.

- richie and her lowkey argue the most because their personalities are so similar and they both always want the last word

- i honestly see her with no love interest but she could like an original character you make. that's up to you.
