Maddie and I walked into the house. Today we were going to meet Liv's L.A best friend, South

"Oh, Maddie, Richie, no. Okay, I guess I am the only one in this family who cares about making a good impression on our guest." Liv told us as I looked down at my outfit I thought it was fine

"Not so fast!" Parker yelled as we looked at the top of the stairs and saw him standing there in a suit and tie and his hair slicked back

"Looks like somebody has a crush on South." Dad teased

"America has a crush on South. I'm the guy who has a shot." Parker said as we laughed at him

"Good luck with that bro bro" I told him

"So, are you as excited about seeing my L. A. B. F. F. as I am?" Liv asked us

"Actually, South can be a bit much." Maddie said as the doorbell rang and Liv went answer it as they both screamed

"There's my B. F. F. W. L. I. W. N. !" South said as I looked confused

"I'm sorry, what?" I asked

"Best friend Forever who lives in Wisconsin Now." They both said as it was the most obvious thing in the world

"Mr. and Mrs. Rooney, great house. You don't even know." South said

"Well, actually, South, we live here, so we We do know." Mom said

"No. No, you don't. I'm from Hollywood. I see beauty more clearly." South told her

"I see beauty very clearly, standing right in my living room. A rose to thank you for the hours of joy I get watching your show." Parker said giving her a rose

"You watch "Raise The Roof"? So sweet. But don't get your hopes up. I'm 16." South explained to him

"Cause you don't look a day over gorgeous. Boom!" Parker said as we all laughed at him

That Saturday we had people come over to our house for South's welcoming party or something. Honestly I was so bored

I walked into the living room and sat on the stairs watching everyone. I'm not to much of a social person so honestly I'm ready for all these people to go

"And what is all this yum-yum soup?" South asked walking up to Maddie and Diggie

"So, Diggie, this is South Salamanca." Maddie introduced

"Hi, nice to meet you. I love your show." Diggie told her

"You watch my show?" South asked

"You watch her show?" Maddie asked jealously

"It's really cool to meet you in person." Diggie told her

"Well, it's cool to be met. You don't even know." South told him

"Wow. What gorgeous brown eyes." South complimented

"Thanks. My mom calls them her little chocolate chips." Diggie smiled

"What are you drinking there, punch? Let me freshen that up." Diggie grabbed her cup and went to the punch station

"Wow. I was not expecting that in Wisconsin. good-looking side of beef." South said as I got up and looked between Maddie and South

"Hmm" I said as I drunk my punch and walked to the kitchen

I was sitting in the kitchen eating chips and dip talking to Liv when Maddie walked im

"Okay, how upset would you be if I threw South so far she became north?" Maddie asked Liv

"Sorry, what?" Liv asked

"She's all up on Diggie and she needs to not be. Elle you're mean and scary can you rough her up for me" Maddie asked as I gave her a look

"Okay, well then, Maddie, just talk to her. I mean, all you have to do is say that he's your boyfriend." I told her as Liv nodded

"Diggie and I don't play fast and loose with language like that." Maddie explained

"Listen to yourself! No wonder South thinks he's available." Liv told her

"Okay, well, can't you talk to her I mean, she listens to you. You once talked her into wearing a parrot as a hat to the "sing it loud" premiere." Maddie asked Liv

"Yeah, I didn't want her wearing the same bird as me." Liv told her

"We couldn't have that now could we" I asked sarcastically

"So you'll talk to her and tell her to stay away from my friend boy?" Maddie asked

"Friend boy"? Okay, Maddie, South is not the problem here. You are." I told her

"I mean, it's as clear as my skin after a facial. Or anytime, really." Liv said

"Fine, I'll talk to her. By the way, your face is really blotchy right now." Maddie told her and left as Liv looked at me

"Is it really" Liv asked

"Yeah" I told her as I grabbed the bowl of dip and walked out

I walked into the living room and saw Diggie and South preforming the Raise the Roof theme song as everyone cheered

"South! Can I talk to you for a second?" Maddie asked as she nodded

"Sure thing. Keep my step warm." South told Diggie and walked up to Maddie

I sat onto the couch and watched their whole interraction

"Do you mind moving" Maddie asked

"No things are finally starting to get good" I told her as she rolled her eyes and turned back to South

"Hey, so I just want to talk to you about Diggie." Maddie said

"Oh, let me start. He is good-looking and he can sing. You don't even know. I don't even know." South said as Maddie awkwardly laughed

"Yeah, so listen, he's kind of It's like He's well, I mean, you know, he's, like He's sort of It's mostly So, uh, yeah." Maddie stumbled

"So does he have a girlfriend?" South askes

"Yeah Maddie does Diggie have a girlfriend" I asked waiting for her response Honesty is she just would tell South their together it would solve all her problems

"Oh! Does Diggie have a girlfriend? Wow. Interesting. Um, that's a really charged and labelly word, you know?" Maddie said as I face palmed and groaned

"You don't even know what I know, he is "c" to the "u" To the "t-e," cute! Mm-hmm." South said

About another 30 minutes pasted as I was on my phone

"Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey, South. It's your B. F. F. Q. Y. Z." I heard as I turned and saw Maddie dressed as Liv

"Oh my god" I said

"This just went from bad to worse in like 5 minutes."

"Liv. What does that mean?" South asked

"Your best friend forever quail yak zoo. So anyway, I just wanted to say maybe you should back up off Diggie like nowsies. Okaysies?" Maddie asked

"I hate to admit it but she does a really impressive Liv. I mean she probably does a better Liv than Liv"

"What are you doing, Rooney?" Diggie asked walking up them as Maddie laughed

"That's me, Rooney. Liv Rooney. Okay. So I was just telling South that she should maybe, like, back up off you." Maddie explained

"What, you mean she was flirting with me?" Diggie asked cluelessly

"Are you dead? And what's the big deal? Do you have a girlfriend or something?" South asked him

"I think I'll let Liv answer that. Liv." Diggie said when Liv walked through the door

"Yeah. Answer the question, Liv." Liv told her smirking 

"Whoa. Two Liv's? Does Maddie know about her?" South asked as Liv scoffed

"Please. Two Liv's? Like I would ever wear this outfit." Liv told her

"Okay, now that you're here, can you Please talk to her?" Maddie begged

"No. Maddie, this is ridiculous. Okay, you know what? I am gonna put this in terms that you can understand. Ready? Uh-huh. It's time to step up to the hoop and swing for the sports thing." Liv saud as Maddie looked confused

"Can you just say it?" I yelled as Maddie turned to them and put on her glasses

"Okay. Um, Diggie is my Boyfriend." Maddie told South

"Yes. Finally! Hear that, everybody? Maddie Rooney Is my girlfriend! Maddie Rooney's my girlfriend! Maddie Rooney's my girlfriend!" Diggie yelled excitedly running out the house

"Okay, so when I pictured that moment in my head, he wasn't running away screaming." Maddie said

"But you did it. I'm so proud of you, Mads. Now please take this off." Liv told her

"Yeah, way to go. Diggie is a total score. And no damage There's tons of other fish in the sea for me." South said when Parker walked from around the corner

"How about a guppy? Care to join me in the moonlight for a juice box, doll?" Parker asked

"Sure, why not? So, you really a fan of my show?" She asked him

"Oh you don't even know" he sang as they walked into the kitchen

"Well this has been a weird night. I'm going to bed" I told everyone as I walked upstairs
