X.      Jihoo P.O.V

As I was walking past the pool locker rooms I heard some shuffling. I peeked in to see a couple of kids harassing another. I then looked closer to see that it was the new girl, the one who had kicked Goon Jun Pyo.  I walked closer so they could see me. I squatted next to them and stared at the girl. She was panting heavily and looked exhausted. "You forgot an ingredient", I told her calmly. It took her a second to catch her breath mefore she asked,"What?"  "In the recipe to make pancakes. You forgot an ingredient", I told her still calm. I didn't look at the boys holding her tightly probably giving her bruises. She thought about it for a little while before stuttering out,"You spray the skillet with Pan". She took a deep breath and I finally looked at the boys surrounding her. "Why are you still here", I asked them calmly.  They started to explain about Goon Jun Pyo's wishes and I looked at them sharply, "I thought I asked you why you are still here?" They instanly dropped her and scurried away. She thudded to the floor too exhausted to even sit up. I grabbed a towel and draped it around her shoulders before walking away. Before I went out of hearing distance I heard a weak thank you. I smiled a little to myself before heading back to the game room a little annoyed. "Why did you stop  them", Goon Jun Pyo asked annoyed. "I don't like watching people het hurt", I told him keeping in my anger. He huffed and went back to playing his video game. I shook my head as I head the conversation behind me. "I say she lasts a week", So Yi Jang said. 'No way did you see how she reacted when she first saw the poster? Kick right to his stomach. And then she didn't give up after the kidnap scare although she did have a little help there. She's going to last for at least two weeks", Song Woobin said. "You wanna bet", So Yi Jang asked. "Hell yeah. If I win I get every hot girls number in your phone. What do you want if you win". Song Woobin asked. "Hmmm. I want a full meal. Including desert. For free", he answered him. "Oh yeah. Why did you save the new girl Jihoo", So Yi Jang asked. "I had to get the last ingredient", I told him calmly. "Last ingredient", he asked smirking. "For pancakes", I answered. His gaze imediantly fell but then went up again as he and Song Woobin started playing pool. The rest of the day I didn't run into the new girl.

As usual me and the rest of the gang walked into the school like super stars.  Goon Jun Pyo walked up to a guy and poured his juice on him.  I looked up at just the right moment to see the new girl walk into a classroom. I shook my head knowing that I needed to figure out what her real name is. After Goon Jun Pyo was done with the guy he motioned to us and we walked away. We went to our lounge/class room afterwards. I must of drifted off into thought cause a few minutes later Yi Jang was shaking me. "What", I asked him calmly. "You know the new girl", he asked. I rolled my eyes saying duh. "Well she has a name. Her friend that was with her when the ice cream incident happened? She was I standing up for her against a couple of kids in first year", he said. "And", I asked him impatiently. "Well someone's excited", he anwsered me and smirked. I full on glared at him-which by the way I never do-and sighed. "What's her name", I asked trying my hardest not to strangle him. "Our little victim's name is", he smirked and waited a few seconds before continuing,"Jan Di". I smiled a little on the inside liking the name. A couple days later I was walking around the campus when I saw Jan Di practically running. I started jogging next to her and asked where she was going. "I'm late to my first class", she said and slowed down a little bit to breathe better. "Well why are you late", I asked curiously. She must of taken my curiosity the wrong way because she stopped suddenly and stared me down. "Becuse although you may not realize it,  people have to work to earn money. And I need this job that I have. And I can't stay after school for a detention because I need to work after school. So therefore Mr. F4, I run becuse I can't be tardy", she finished. Almost as soon as she stopped talking the bell rang. She started to run to ber class but didn't notice me following her. She composed herself then walked onto the classroom.  "I'm so sorry Mr. Bradly it won't happen again", she said and bit her lip. "That is exactly what you said last time Ms. Di. Im afraid that you have been late to many times. I have to give you a detention", he said and started writing on a slip of paper. Without even thinking I stepped into the room. Everyone stared as  I walked up to Jan Di. "I thought I told you that if you were coming late to class to tell me. I truly am sorry Mr. Bradly. Jan Di has been working with me in the mornings.  Ahe was supposed to tell me of she's been  getting to class late but she apparently can act very well. So please excuse all of her tardys and such as it is my fault. Sorry to have troubled you", I flashed a smile at the teacher and, stuttering he said sorry to Jan Di. "I'll see you later ok", I said to Jan Di. She nodded silently and I walked out of the classroom.
