"Fine, you win. . .for now." Lute growled in anger as she turned her back to walk away. "This isn't over, freaks!"

Everyone just glared at Lute before she rolled her eyes in anger and defeat. Once she flew off, the red haired girl turned around and smiled. "Oh, I'm sorry, I was so focused on saving you guys that I forgot to introduce myself." She said. "I'm Rias Grimory. Heiress to the house of Grimory. And you must be Shane The Guardian Hedgehog."

"Uh, yeah that's me." Shane said trying his best to hide the blush appearing on his face. "How do you know my name?"

"Yeah, and why are you here?" KC asked as she stood in front of Shane, defending him. "Are you going to attack us like that. . .thing?"

"Why no, of course not." Rias said honestly. "In fact, that is exactly why I'm here."

The hedgehog and cockroaches looked at each other in confusion as they still had no idea what was going on. Rias noticed their confused expressions and chuckled.

"You guys are adorable, really. You have no idea what's going on, do you?" Rias asked. "Well, I need to borrow Shane so he can join me and my fellow devils to save the world."

"I'm sorry did you say devils?" Dr. Cockroach asked in shock.

"Yes I did but don't worry, we're friendly devils." Rias explained. "I'll explain everything on the way but I need you guys to trust me."

"Well, Shane, you've always wanted to feel important." KC smiled. "I think you should go for it. Dad, what do you say?"

Dr. Cockroach thought for a moment before giving a smile and nod. Shane's eyes lit up with joy as he turned his attention to the red haired girl. "Okay, I'll join you." He said in excitement.

"Excellent, not that you had a choice but I'm glade you accepted anyway." Rias said as she took Shane's hand and started to cast a transportation spell.

"Wait! What about my friends?!" Shane asked, causing Rias to lose concentration and stop the spell.

"What about them?" Rias asked, trying to hide her growing impatience.

"Can't they come with me?" Shane asked.

"No, this job is too dangerous for the inexperienced." Rias said seriously. "Besides, we need you."

"It's okay, Shane we'll be fine here." Dr. Cockroach said honestly. "I'm not really looking to go on a world saving mission anyway."

"But, that's what you and your friends are known for." Shane said. "And you're super smart."

"Shane, please, this is your destiny." KC said, walking up to the mobian hedgehog and placing her hands on his shoulders. "Don't waste this opportunity."

Shane looked at his friends who he sees a family then back at Rias before giving a small sigh. "Okay, I guess I'm ready to go now."

"Finally, now come along then." Rias said as she once again took Shane's hand and recasted the spell.

This time Shane could only smile and wave goodbye to his friends as he and the red haired girl disappeared and reappeared in a whole new setting. When he looked around, Shane realized that this was a classroom.

"Where are we?" Shane asked.

"Welcome, Shane The Hedgehog, to Kuoh Academy!" Rias said, gesturing twords a group of students. "More specifically, the Kuoh Academy acult research club."
