Ch 1.

Vansh came inside his room to see his newly wedded bride sitting in the centre of his bed. Both of them opted for a simple wedding and didnt want any chaos to follow.

Riddhima smiled shyly as she saw him come and sit near her. He smiled looking at her.

He held her hand and said, "You are looking really pretty. I hope tum mere saath comfortable ho aur rahogi.."

"Zaroor.. And,thank you.. Aap bhi bohut acche lagrahe hai.." Riddhima complimented him,as well..

"Woh.. Mujhe tumse kuch zaruri baatein karni hai.. I hope tum meri puri baat sunogi aur samjhogi bhi.." Vansh said,straightly.

"I hope sab thik hai.. All okay?" Riddhima asked with concern.

"Yeah!! Sab thik hai!! Hum dono change karke aate hai aur baat karenge,okay??!!" Vansh replied to which Riddhima nodded in a positive way.

After few moments,both of them came back after changing their clothes. Riddhima wore a plain pink anarkali and kept her hair open,while Vansh opted for his white kurta pyjama.

Both of them sat on the bed,resting their backs' on the headrest. Vansh looked at Riddhima's face and thought about telling her the truth..

"Riddhima.. Mujhe tumhe mere baare mein ek sach batana hai.. Ek aisa saach jo hum dono ki zindagi ko badal sakti hai.. Tum sunna chahogi?" Vansh asked Riddhima.

"Kya baat hai Vansh??? Ab aap sach mein mujhe dara rahe hai!!! Sab thik toh hai na?" Riddhima asked,as she cupped his face with love and concern.

Vansh felt at peace. He leaned more to Riddhima's touch,as if grabbing some strength from her. This truth was something that Vansh was uncomfortable with and he never revealed it to anyone,other than his Daadi and Sia.

He took her warm hands and held them tightly. Riddhima was hell scared,seeing him like that.

"Vansh,please mujhe bataiye!! Kya hua hai??? Aapki tabiyat toh thik hai na?" She tried to rub his back,to ease him from the pain.

"Riddhima... Main.. woh.. main!!" He couldn't form the sentence.

"Aapko meri kasam,Vansh.. Please bataiye!!" Riddhima spoke,cupping his face.

"Main baap nahi ban paunga kabhi bhi.. Tumhe main kabhi Maa banne ki khushi nahi de paunga.. Issi wajah se Ragini ne mujhse divorce liya thha!!" He blurted out the truth,finally letting that burden off his conscience.

Riddhima smiled with tears and placed a kiss on his forehead,and then took him in a warm,tight hug. She felt him relaxing in her embrace.

He broke the hug and looked at Riddhima. She brought his head and placed it on her lap. She dimmed the lights and pulled the duvet,covering them.

"Log sach hi kehte hai,ki,ek toota hua dil hi dusre toote hue dil ko jorh sakte hai.. Humara dard bhi bohut milta jhulta hai.." Riddhima said,as she grazed his hairs,softly.

She looked at him and understood by his facial expression about his unspoken query.

"Kabir ne bhi mujhe isiliye chhor diya thha kyunki main Maa nahi bansakti thhi.. Mujh mein kuch problems thhi,isiliye!!" She replied with tears in her eyes.

Vansh got up and wiped her tears. Her tears hurt him badly. He took her in his warm embrace. She held onto him tightly,to take in some strength from him.

"Kya humari imperfections humein define karti hai,Vansh? Humari acchai humein define nahi karti kya?" Riddhima asked,sobbing.

"Har insaan flawless nahi hota hai,Riddhima. Kuch na kuch kamiyaan hoti hai usmein. Jaise ki hum dono!!! Isiliye,shayad Uparwaale ne hum dono ko milaya taaki hum ek dusre ke gham,sukh aur dukh ko bat saake.." Vansh consoled her.

"Aur,kuch logo ko yeh samajh nahi aata hai ki do insaan jin mein imperfections hai,unhe khush rehne ka rights hai. Society ko har ek baat hisaab kyun chahiye hota hai!! Jo log aisi neech soch rakhte hai na ki aise do log kabhi ek nahi ho payenge,woh log reality mein khokle hote hai!!" Vansh replied.

Riddhima felt his pain. Both of them were the passengers' on the same boat. It hurt her seeing him like this. She took his hands and placed a kiss on them,promising to be with him,through thick and thin.

Vansh smiled and pecked her forehead. He knew that he made the right decision of marrying Riddhima. 

Both of them had their own set of imperfections,but they will turn it into a perfect one,slowly.
