I looked in his eyes,

and found his longing stare.

I stopped myself from saying the words,

that say I care for him.

I put my hands on my face,

to hold back my feelings.

I won't say those words again,

cause the last time I did,

he waved off my hands away from his.

I never spoke those words again,

for the fear of his deep fright,

I thought it was all over,

Untill this blissful night.

His fingers traced my lips,

pushing back my hair.

While I was quite unprepared there,

for what he was about to say.

My heart beats quicken, my head raced on,

I thought I might cry.

But then he took that heartfelt leap,

And said, "I love you."
