Rhyne's Heartbeat was supposed to be written before Just a Fangirl (2015). Nabuo ang kuwento nila habang sinusulat ko ang Loving A Rock Prince (2014) noon dito sa Wattpad. I actually wrote its Prologue up to Chapter 2 on the same year but stopped dahil lang nakaisip ako ng plot para sa EXO. A fan fiction, yes, and it took me more than a year to finish that. It was on my last year in college so I had to stop writing after that in order to focus on my studies. (Char...)

Sabi ko noon, kapag tapos na ako sa pag-aaral, marami na akong oras para magsulat. Pero scam kasi nagtrabaho naman ako agad. Hahaha!

Ipinagpaliban ko nang ipinagpaliban hanggang sa umabot na ako ng apat na taon nang wala pa ring natatapos na manuscript. Aside from my tight schedule, I had a terrible writer's block. Na ngayon ay na-realized kong ginawa ko lang palang dahilan para i-justify ang katamaran ko.

I started writing about CLTLM (2019) and finished it before the end of the year. My heart wept so hard after typing the end because of the overwhelming happiness it brought me. Sa sobrang tagal ko nang hindi nagsusulat na nakalimutan ko nang ganito pala kasaya magsulat at makatapos ng libro.

So I went home that day after duty and opened my old boxes where I kept most of my previous writings. May notebook ako na pinagsusulatan ko ng mga plot. Doon ko inilagay ang plano ko sanang series pagka-graduate ko, The Project 2016. My plan was to write 5 manuscripts at kasali roon ang naudlot na Loving A Rock Prince. Hindi pa kumpleto ang plot ko kay PG at Dalmatian noon kaya itinabi ko muna sila at inuna ang Rhyne's Heartbeat since matagal nang kumpleto sa utak ko ang mga mangyayari sa kanila.

Naalagaan ko yata sila nang ilang taon kaya natapos ko agad sa isang buwan. July 28 of last year up to August 28... It has 30 chapters, I wrote one chapter a day. Including the Prologue and the Epilogue.

It was never easy to write again after a 4-year hiatus pero itinaguyod ko dahil alam kong ito ang gusto ko sa buhay. Sa schedule ko ngayon, pahirapan nang makatapos ng isang kabanata sa isang araw pero pinilit ko. I may have been busy these past few years and forgot about my passion but I know that I will never stop writing. In any form. No matter what. This is the love that I can't let go and the love that I will always go back to. At hindi ako nagsisisi na sinimulan ko ang series kahit kulang na kulang na ako sa tulog.

Rhyne's Heartbeat healed me and I'm glad that I made it the first book of the series. Siya ang simula ng lahat. Siya rin ang tatapos sa lahat.

I posted its epilogue last December 28 (Rhyne and Jed's monthsary) and I'm still having mixed emotions about it up until now. Happy ending naman pero nasasaktan ako. Palagi ko itong sinasabi sa mga posts ko tungkol sa kanila pero totoo talaga. Rhyne and Jed are very special to me. I feel like 30 chapters are not enough to write about their love. I hope you find the time to read about them and understand why I'm being insanely emotional right now. I've been writing since fifth grade pero iba sila. Iba talaga sila sa lahat ng mga naisulat ko. I am so proud of them. I love them so much.

May dahilan talaga ang bawat delay sa buhay, ano? If I happened to write about them six years ago, I don't think I could justify their love like this. May dahilan talaga sa lahat ng bagay. Thank you for supporting and loving Jedrhyne the way I do. At sa mga hindi pa nakapagbasa, basa na po at hindi kayo magsisisi. Pangako.

Earlier last year, I wrote my goals on my 2020 planner... at sa pinakahuli ang Rhyne's Heartbeat (2020) dahil noong time na iyon ay duda ako sa sarili ko.

But yes, I did it! At hindi lang iyon, I also finished the second book and I am currently working on the third book. Writer's block, who you ka ngayon! Hahaha!

The second book, previously posted on Wattpad as Loving A Rock Prince, will be reposted on the same platform any day this month. I changed the title to Gone With The Ring but the characters remained the same. Para sa mga nakakaalala at para sa isang reader ko na naghintay ng anim na taon, si Dalmatian pa rin po.
